I've have CCC for years and for years I have been wanting to get rid of them but where I am located my options are extremely limited. When it works it works. When it rains, the wind blows, or there's some snow my connection normally goes out. Customer service, needs some serious help. I have explained my situation so many times and that I am paying way more than I should be for the service I am getting. Tech help is usually Matt (can you tell I've called a few times!) and he's normally helpful and does what he can. If you have other options I'd strongly suggest using them before CCC. Coming from someone who prefers using close to home businesses. In this case, shop around and probably go with the larger well known companies. Best of luck read more

The worst customer service I have ever had from any company. Paid for a year subscription including a fee for same day response on technical support. Of the 12 months it only worked well for 4 and did not work at all for 3 months. It took over a month to even hear back from them. They're tech support people are blatant liars who have no idea what they're doing. I work in the IT field and some of the excuses were ridiculous! Instead of just saying they didn't know what's wrong or how to fix it, they just made up things that don't even exist in reality. My favorite was different support people claiming a firmware update would fix it. 3 times I was told this while the guy on the phone pretended to do it. The hardware would have rebooted if they actually did it and the version # on the hardware would have changed I verified it did not. This company is so terrible they go out of their way to waste your time, obfuscate the truth and steal your money. Anything is better and best of all you don't have to deal with those assholes. Horrible. The service is always going down. When it is up and running, which is rare, it has incredibly slow upload and download speeds. 3g is faster. Heck, some dial-up services are faster. Perhaps the worst company I have ever encountered. They fail to respond... they fail to keep their word... they fail. I was 100% happy to have had use of their service when no other option existed. Thankfully, that is no longer in the situation. Hughs Net may be more expensive, but it's well worth upgrading to a real company. Cherry had a monopoly over a market without options. They never understood the value of follow-up and honesty. Do yourself a HUGE favor. Don't bother with CC. read more

We have had this service for about 1 1/2 months. It was good at first (about 2 weeks). We could even watch Netflix. We live in a rural area with our choice of internet being very sparse. We had HughesNet for about 6 years. We got tired of everything buffering. So we finally made the move to Cherry Capital. The worst mistake! It's slower than dial-up. Their support is horrible. The worst public service company ever. But there is a better internet now. AT&T home base. 60 bucks a month for a home phone and 250 gb a month with speeds of 15 meg download that I am getting now. I dropped these super losers and love my new AT&T internet. Check it out. Google up AT&T home base and you can start saving money like I did. Not the 1990's 4x4 slow speeds. I never got that even, mine stopped for 10-90 seconds ever 2 minutes. Tim want's to whack your ass more for faster speeds. He's the only one left who doesn't realize the internet has evolved to more than 4x4. They never return phone calls. I did see one good review somewhere, but that reviewer had the same last name of Bruce who worked there. What's next? Their Grandmother's going to give them a good review? After four years of 'sipping' internet to not go over ridiculously small limits, Cherry Capital has saved from the hell that is satellite internet. The service is fast enough to stream netflix, online game, and vpn into remote sites. The latency, 500mb limit (haven't updated my pc in two years), and constant outages are gone! I highly recommend for anyone that is outside of the cable companies area. read more

I have been with CCC for years. Ninety percent of the time my service works fine. I can even stream YouTube or do Netflix most of the time. So, 4 stars on that. But when there are problems, the tech support side of the business shows its weaknesses. and earns 1 star. So overall, I give them 2-1/2 stars. Tim, the owner/manager is capable and works very hard. He seems to put 110% of his energy into fixing whatever problem is right in front of him. But then he is off to the next problem and once yours is off his plate, it gets 0 attention. My biggest remediable complaint is their lack of communication and follow-up with customers, which for a "communication company", is pretty strange. If you call in an issue during business hours, about 75% of the time it goes right to voice mail. If the problem resolves, you are never sure if it is truly "fixed" due to some tweaking on their part, or if a change in the weather affected the radio signal propagation in your favor and the problem will recur next time the wind direction changes. They RARELY FOLLOW UP with their customers to say that they even got the phone message, much less that they did anything about it or inquire if things improved. They RARELY REPLY TO EMAILS despite urging you to submit your requests for tech support to them by email (yeah, that works real well when you have no internet). Bottom line is that when things are working (90% of the time) it is a good and valuable service. When things are not working (10% of the time), they have a lot of room for improvement in customer relations. But as with most "background infrastructure utilities" (think power, water, phone, etc), your overall opinion of the company is strongly biased by the downtime problems not the uptime lack of problems. read more

This company is a trainwreck when it comes to customer service. When the service worked, it was a good option for no data cap high-speed service in a rural area. But, that is only an odd couple of days out of each month. The rest of the time it buffers and cuts in and out. It will not support live streaming, or wi-fi phone calls. Good luck getting any resolve from their tech support. Lots of promises, no follow-through. They just raised rates, promising better service and so far it is worse and when you call tech support, lots of promises that they'll "look into it" and get back to you, no-one ever does. I am, no joke, still waiting for Justin in tech support to call me back to schedule a service visit that was promised 5 months ago. I have called him 3 times in the past 2 weeks to remind him now that we are at a point that it urgently needed and he says whatever he needs to say to get me off the phone and never returns my call to schedule. I am a patient person and have been polite to this point, but no more. I am canceling the service and will take them to court if they even think about trying to charge me early cancellation fees. This is a horrendously bad way to treat customers. read more

Worst internet I've ever experienced, a total rip off considering the costs. Been suffering for near 2 years as they are supposedly my only option in my area. I suggest dodging this company like the plague... their internet service is awful, throughout the first year of dealing with them to fix the internet issues, they proved their customer service is awful as well.
