This is a really great park anytime of the year as they have quite a lot of new amenities plus the ball fields and walking trails. We enjoy coming for walks throughout the year. However, they also do an AMAZING Christmas light drive through each year. We've made it a tradition where we get hot cocoa and come see the lights. It's $20 per car this year I believe.

This park has a little of something for everyone. If you have kids this place is pretty amazing. Tons of equipment for them to play on, and a big variety too. They have a paved trail that goes around the perimeter of the park. It is just over a mile long. It has some small hills but nothing that I would consider too strenuous. They have a skate park, pickleball courts, tennis, and several fields. You can often see kids practicing lacrosse and soccer. They have a small catch and release pond towards the back. I watched a kid catch a decent sized bass out of it once. A suggestion I have is to plant a series of wildflowers and more trees. There are large areas that dont have any shade. Hopefully the right people will read this and consider it. I do love this park and highly recommend it if you are in the area

Awesome for photography The walking trail is great and there's a decent pond for catch and release fishing.

My boys adore this park!! It's very well kept and has a lot to offer. The skateboard park is one of our favorite. The 2 reasons this review didn't get 5 stars is because 1. No dog park :( and 2. When at the skate park there are a lot of older 20 somethings vaping and using inappropriate language. They're otherwise very kind and don't seem to mind smaller kids skating - but I wish they'd be a little bit more considerate with their mouth... and not drop f bombs and so forth. Other than that, amazing park! We will still go regardless- I may just have to be the mean mom and vocalize to them to stop.

It was semi difficult hike just because we live in Florida and use to live in Illinois (AKA Flatland), but we did it. The easiest way to this is from the parking lot, walk to the left and walk down the stairs. Keep walking on the boardwalk and watch for holes in the boardwalk. When the boardwalk is done, keep walking and then you will come to trees, the trees have steps made from the trees, & carefully watch your step and go down. I actually scooted my butt down and then climbed the tree steps. It was not bad, just something I'm not accustomed to. You will see the water and rocks moving and it is just so beautiful. People walk through and sit in the water and take pics. Be careful when you walk through it can be slippery. We had water shoes. Water is so refreshing. We actually walked the long way, which is walking to the right of the parking lot to the start of the boardwalk. We didn't want to walk down the stairs bc they looked pretty steep. It really is amazing. I'd say you will be here about an hour or two. Parking is free and there are a bunch of signs you need a fishing license. Which we don't have. We just parked And walked!

After being kicked about 50 times from people going up and down the bleachers I was done. Not to mention the amount of REALLY young kids walking back and forth. I have 3 kids of my own and I get they get board but when they are up and down the bleachers multiple times in an hour and I am getting kicked in the back (they are young, not babies) i am not happy. We also paid over $50 for our tickets combined. I was so frustrated I just left. You shouldn't have to tell grown people to watch their kids, but apparently you really should. It wasn't necessarily the park or the event that ruined it but the people that let their kids run wild. I never comment on kids but these were not babies, these were 10 plus that were constantly up and down the cheap bleachers and were totally distracting and also blocking the view. They did ask people that were standing in front to sit down at one point but that didn't help. Simple reminders throughout might help. I won't be going back anytime soon.

Great park for joggers, kids (has playgrounds), party events (complete w/picnic tables & city…read morereservations) and great mountain bike trails. The main loop is flat dirt & gravel but the back trails are definitely for the advanced mountain bikers- so you will get a good work out. (The advanced uphill rugged terrain trails are comparable to Blankets Creek mountain bike trails also in Canton- only it's more desolate there so it can feel creepy if you're by yourself- you start to imagine bears and coyotes & snakes.) The good thing is there are always people around so it's safe park. There's tons of parking being its right next to the high school and on weekends there are always soccer teams playing or people going for a walk.
