The challenge with this clinic is the administrative staff and the poor treatment I have received for a very long time from the front desk. Did you know that 55% of communication is body language? The front desk here is super bossy and simply mean spirited. As a full time working, single parent and women I have never had so many negative comments made to me about my "situation" while they were referring to my divorce. Super judgmental. Is it possible to discriminate against single moms? It had happened to me here We have 2 dental insurances for our children and 2 parents making even payments for anything above and beyond the insurance. The office has refused to properly work with both insurances as well as take 2 payments: one from each parent. Neither parent is arguing about payments. The challenge is the office "doesn't want to do it". 50/50 split billing is not difficult for every other doctor, daycare or school or health club that we have worked with. I'm sorry but 50% of marriages really do end in divorce. Regarding my account history there has been several mistakes including services provided as well as payments made. For example when my son was under 18 they were billing his services at an adult rate. Recently they failed to show payments that I made while submitting to me invoice due. They told me that I had to provide the proof of payment (which thankfully I SaVE everything) of that nature). The back office staff expressed to me a similar concern for the behavior of the front desk person noting that "she often times just doesn't feel like doing something for other people.. it's just how she is". I witnessed a big bully here. It's exhausting to deal with administration that is too lazy to go an extra step to provide decent service to customers and also co-workers: We will be changing our dental location because of the poor treatment.

I had problems from poorly-done fillings from my previous dentist, and he did his absolute best to fix the damage (and further decay) that had been done as a result of them. Both him and his hygentists were friendly and warm, and they really made me feel at ease, which is a big thing for me with my anxiety involving needles in my mouth! I never had a bad visit - even the ones where filling and drilling were involved. I was relieved when I found out they offer CareCredit because I was without dental insurance and fixing all those poor fillings really added up. Being able to make payments really saved me financially. I am so, so sad I had to move away from him because at the time of this writing I have not found any dentist that matches his caliber! Even though I was there for a whole two hours and endured some X-ray pain and prickling to my gums... it was good. I know a lot more about my teeth and learned that I have a cavity on my wisdom tooth. FML. But anyway, the service was EXCEPTIONAL. Loretta at the front desk was so helpful and friendly!!! Devorie, who was the lead assistant, was super awesome and kind. When she was taking my x-rays and stuffing the slides into my mouth, she made sure that I was comfortable and that I wasn't in too much pain, she was so thoughtful. I really liked her. Dr. Hsu was cool too, I asked him a lot of questions about my teeth and he was glad that I asked because people normally just want their teeth done and be done with everything.
