I needed some stuff in a pinch and came across Urge Palette. There are few other places to compare in the area, and their online photos made the place look resourceful. Took a small drive over and I'm glad I did. Elijah was manning the fort that day. He was not only a pleasant dude, but he obviously has experience with various media, and was helping me sort out a project I'm experimenting with. Not just knowledgeable though; he was very clear with his suggestions. With price gouging being a thing nowadays, I was actually surprised I walked out of there with some high quality art paper and some chemicals for just $20. And I saw they had some nice notebooks priced really well. I'll be prioritizing this place for similar purchases while I continue to attend CSUSB.

The kids have quite the art supplies and were in need of a change of scenery! Greg was awesome and very welcoming! Both kids enjoyed their first time here, but this definitely won't be the last! Everyone was very welcoming. They do parties and private events. They sell art supplies as well as various artistic products throughout the store. Best part was the kids were able to bring in their supplies and use art space free of charge with no rush or pressure to buy anything or get in and get out, all because we had our own supplies! I've been to the RAM many times and it's a small art museum in Downtown Riverside. The Cheech…read moreMuseum is one stop light up and a larger museum. If you purchase a ticket to the Cheech, the RAM is included in your ticket price, or if you start at the RAM, the Cheech will be included that day. I came to the RAM this time around, specifically, for the 60 Miles East exhibit. This exhibit ends on 4/12, so make sure to swing by before then if you want to catch it. The exhibit contained many flyers, pictures, art, and even ticket stubs that brought me back to my childhood. It was in a clean and open space that made the experience enjoyable. This exhibit takes up only one room and there are other spaces to check out for additional art exhibits. I did notice less art, this time around, than in previous visits and many open spaces/walls were not taken up. Overall, I'm glad I got to enjoy this exhibit, before it ends, and it really highlights the Inland Empire's music scene as an important piece of diverse culture. Enjoy!

I recently visited the Riverside Art Museum and really enjoyed the experience. The museum is on the…read moresmaller side, but the collection felt thoughtfully curated and never overwhelming. What stood out just as much as the artwork was the building itself, which is beautiful and full of character. I especially loved the courtyard, which provided a peaceful space to slow down and take everything in. The gift shop was also excellent, with a great selection of unique items that felt carefully chosen rather than generic museum souvenirs. Between the art, architecture, and atmosphere, it was a wonderful way to spend an afternoon appreciating creativity in a truly beautiful setting.

My family and I found Art Studio Pillar through our public charter school and our 5 year old did 5…read more(1 hour) classes for one month. He absolutely loved it. There's a parents/family waiting room and you can watch the kids work. Every kid gets their own personal station, and Miss Kathy is awesome. She lets the kids go at their own pace and work on what they choose to work on, so they're not all doing the exact same thing. She checked in with our son often as he was probably the youngest kid in there, which really helped him to feel more comfortable. Some of the older kids who have been going for awhile do some amazing work, too. We will definitely be continuing in the Summer time and next school semester.

Their use of different mediums has been fun to watch too. My girls are very happy there and want to continue. They'll be starting their third year with her this fall.
