All star cheer IS NOT for the faint of heart. It requires hours of practice and full dedication. My daughter has learned what it means to be a part of a team and has made so many amazing friends who push her to do her best. She is completely dedicated and absolutely loves to cheer, and I truly believe that the athlete needs to have their head in the game to understand what it takes to be fully committed. Practice hours are long, but in order to succeed you need to put in the time. I'm all about having fun, but if I'm paying for an awesome program I expect awesome results, and Corona Stars supersedes that expectation! This D2 gym will get your athlete the training they need, they just have to be willing to put in the work! The coaches are amazing and knowledgeable! Prices are very reasonable, curriculum is based on play, art and music which I am all about at this age. When my daughter is put in a new environment it takes her a bit to warm up, so when I first dropped her off on her 1st day she was a little timid and tearful, but Mrs. Brown, and Mrs. Young who received her treated her with so much kindness and love, as if she was their own. I'm so glad I put in a request because that's how I discovered this school. From the start, the owner was very kind and helpful, directing me to this location--and it has truly been a godsend. The staff is amazing at meeting my child where he's at and working with his abilities. At his previous school, I used to get calls almost every day about his "bad behavior." Here, it's completely different. Now I get messages highlighting how smart he is, how well he's doing, and all of his positive qualities as both a student and a person. The change has been such a blessing, and I can finally see him thriving in an environment that uplifts him. The only downside is that the school only goes up to age 5, so unfortunately he won't be able to stay next year. He was never in daycare so I was really nervous but so far he's been liking this school. This school was perfect for my son because we go to St. Thomas church as a family so my son is aware of the location and that made us feel more comfortable. He's only been attending this school for the past 2 months but he's already made a few friends and he's getting the hang of his schedule. I will post more when he's done with TK. We are hoping to have him attend here for another year. Private school can get pricey but we love how they teach our little one the importance of Jesus Christ and learning how to pray.
