We were in…read morethe Pasadena area and took a trip to Riverside for this museum and am so happy with the experience. The collection is broad, complex, thoughtful and I was happy to hear different art is rotated so you can have various experiences each time you visit. I have NEVER experienced a collection of art that spoke to me and my identity so deeply. The design, content, narrative and artistry was TOP NOTCH. Thank you so much for creating this beautiful collection and sharing it with us!

I always enjoy the open space, calming environment, and beautiful art collections. The price of your ticket also includes entrance to the RAM, which is literally a block away and an easy walk. Parking in downtown is free M-F after 5, and all day on the weekends. This summer I became a member, which means I have unlimited visits, invitations to opening exhibits, and early access to tickets for special events for the year. They have various memberships available for students, seniors and educators (they will check for verification) as well as for individual and family memberships. The Cheech is very family friendly, although there may be some art not suitable for children (that's up to your discretion though). Overall, this is a wonderful place to get your art fix. It is also located downtown, which means there are many eateries/drink places within walking distance, or a quick drive, if you prefer.

I've been to the RAM many times and it's a small art museum in Downtown Riverside. The Cheech…read moreMuseum is one stop light up and a larger museum. If you purchase a ticket to the Cheech, the RAM is included in your ticket price, or if you start at the RAM, the Cheech will be included that day. I came to the RAM this time around, specifically, for the 60 Miles East exhibit. This exhibit ends on 4/12, so make sure to swing by before then if you want to catch it. The exhibit contained many flyers, pictures, art, and even ticket stubs that brought me back to my childhood. It was in a clean and open space that made the experience enjoyable. This exhibit takes up only one room and there are other spaces to check out for additional art exhibits. I did notice less art, this time around, than in previous visits and many open spaces/walls were not taken up. Overall, I'm glad I got to enjoy this exhibit, before it ends, and it really highlights the Inland Empire's music scene as an important piece of diverse culture. Enjoy!

Located on the corner of Mission and Lime, I'd passed the Riverside Art Museum so many times but…read morenever actually went inside. I was usually heading next door to the RMA for a concert. But when they announced the 60 Miles East Punk Rock in Riverside exhibition, I knew I wasn't going to miss it. The Riverside Art Museum was originally built in 1929 as a YWCA before being bought and turned into what it is now. You walk in and admission is right there. I went on Veterans Day so I got in free. Otherwise combo tickets that get you into the Cheech the same day cost $15.95. A good deal! The 60 Miles East exhibition is in a giant room filled with flyers, posters and clothing from bands and places all over the Inland Empire. It was super cool but made me a bit sad inside because I'd been to the Showcase Theatre on many occasions and still miss it. They also have art in another part of the gallery including a Shepard Fairley original. I wasn't expecting that! Overall the Riverside Art Museum is a place I'd for sure recommend. It's not real big but since you can go to the Cheech on the same day with your ticket, it's worth the admission cost. 60 Miles East runs to mid April so don't miss it! Support the arts!

I'm a male actor from the republic of South Africa. I moved to the USA just more than 3 years ago…read more I decided to join an acting class in Riverside to freshen up my acting skills here in the USA and to get used to acting with actors from the USA. Jordan Lund guided me and he taught me new acting techniques that I've never though of. Because of the techniques and skills I got from Jordan I've now landed a lead role in an upcoming Netflix series to be aired next year. I highly recommend Jordan to any actor. Doesn't matter if you've been acting for years as I did or if you're new to the industry. You will learn new techniques and the fact that he puts you on camera so you can be analyzed is an amazing learning experience. I also do know that Jordan teaches stage acting too. He's only as serious as you are, so if you want to dive deep into acting, he will provide you with acting scuba gear! Not exactly what one would imagine as a business model to support our already underserved veteran population. This company serves a majority veteran patient population often times suffering with PTSD. Leadership routinely assigns these complex cases to the intern (students) volunteers. These students work for free as part of their internship agreement and are the backbone of the operation. It is apparent this site is an intern mill. It is apparent this is to maximize profits, which co-aligns with the "McDonald's" business model. The leadership is very toxic to the employees oftentimes belittling staff and routinely making interns cry during group supervision. Many times interns hours are held based on performance and leadership refuses to sign their much needed documentation for hours (BBS experience form) as a means of coercion and manipulation. If an intern speaks up and expresses their needs the leadership will report them to their school in order to place them on Academic probation preventing them from seeking another internship site which allow the intern to extorted for more money. IF YOU ARE AN MFT/CSW,PCC STUDENT, DO NOT CHOOSE THIS SITE. It is not worth it unless you are conducting research on Narcissists ran Internship Mills that prey on the Veteran Affairs patient population under the guise of a 501c3, then this is your place. If you are a patient, there are great therapists here. But as an organization and especially the leadership it is as toxic as it comes. Consider yourself warned.

When I inquired as to why she said, "I'm just the receptionist" and then seemed frustrated when I asked for a follow up call from Debra the counselor. She said, "You can just call your insurance provider, she's already been in touch with them." I told her It doesn't have to be lengthy; a sentence will suffice." She said she would give her the message. During the first session/orientation Debra stated there would be a closure or landing session whenever services end so the person isn't left hanging. Not only am I left wondering the specifics, but there was no closure, and it is unprofessional to state something during client orientation and then not honor it.
