This is for the, "on-base" location and the food is horrendous. I got 3 taco's and onion rings, today 4/12/24 the only good part of the food was the Corn tortilla. Asada, the meat was most likely a couple days old, or frozen from the bag, dry and no flavor. The Asada was rubbery, dry cubes without any real texture. You want to compare, go to El Metate as NOTHING I ate today was fresh. The Al Pastor was also lacking flavor, was dry and cubed, again, either frozen and thawed or had been sitting for a couple days. The green sauce looked like baby vomit. The salsa was not close to fresh either--looked as though it had been recycled from a day or two. Then there were the onion rings--frozen and most likely had been sitting, partially thawed--the onions, inside the batter were like mush--no texture and was the consistency of poorly cooked grits. The was NO crispness to the onion and they got thrown out. The food is horrendous, disgusting and ANYONE who would call themselves a "Chef" as the sign reads on their wall (listing names of chef, sous chef etc) and put out that garbage should be ashamed of themselves and turn in their jacket. I will NEVER eat there again--EVER!!!!! This food is absolutely disgusting and I cannot fathom how such garbage can be considered good. The reason for 2 stars--as I said the Corn Tortilla was warm and tasted good. Everything else, yeah, I would not feed that to a homeless person. read more
