Who can resist a good grilled cheese right? WWCD has some great options. Tried several: the Forsaken Bacon (has apple butter and honey in it which sounds weird, but was really tasty), Forbidden Fig (very sweet sandwich and super unique), and the Pope (super Italian and delish). They were all great tasting. Heads up on a few things though. 1 - they try to upsell you on something for ever single sandwich, which was a bit much. 2 - It's not cheap, like $15 sandwiches. 3 - They aren't super fast, so order before you're absolutely starving. read more

Delicious! We booked WWCD for food truck night in our community and are so glad we did. Jenny showed up way ahead of time and set up promptly to take orders at the agreed upon time. Her communication through the process of booking months prior and confirmation the day before was excellent: she responded quickly and was extremely pleasant to work with. Online ordering was easy and we were notified within a few minutes that our order was ready. The sandwiches were awesome: my husband ordered the Monte Cheese-O and he was in heaven. My Righteous Reuben was legit and one of the best Reuben sandwiches I've tasted. We're all booked for this season for our food truck nights and I've already received requests for WWCD to return. I would follow this food truck through the desert for forty years. The Go Fig Yourself is the greatest sandwich I have ever eaten. The flavors all mix perfectly to create something rich, luxurious, and absolutely divine. Because of the fig jam and the caramelized onions, it's sweet, so it's more of a dessert, but that just means you get to order a second sandwich to eat as your entree! I love to start with The Vatican without pepperoni because I'm a vegetarian, but I'm sure it's delicious with pepperoni for you meat-eaters! It's like if pizza and a sandwich had a baby! The tomato bisque is creamy, flavorful, and comes with big, garlicky croutons. I can't think of a more perfect meal than a couple of grilled cheese sandwiches and a good tomato bisque! I had the chance to try out yet another one of Denver's many food trucks this past weekend at the Bloody Mary Festival and I was not disappointed. I mean how could you be disappointed with a gourmet grilled cheese concoction and a bloody mary?! They have some really creatively named menu items including the Baby Cheesus, Church Bellas, and The Vatican. Puns galore which is totally my style! I tried the Holy Guacamole with turkey added (per the suggestion on the sign). It was super tasty. Cheddar, bacon, guacamole, tomato, plus turkey?! Yeah that's a winning combo if I ever heard it. Only bummer was that I think they were just a bit overwhelmed by the amount of people at this fest. I probably waited 30 minutes total (from time in line to getting my order). I didn't mind the wait that much, but several other people made snarky comments about it. I look forward to checking them out again outside of a fest, to get a better taste of how awesome they really are! read more

Yummers. Who doesn't love a good melted cheese sammich? It's win-win. They have teeny tiny dippers (tomato soup) and it's the perfect accompaniment to the traditional sammich. Simple, tasty- you can't really go wrong. They do have fancier offerings, one with figs, balsamic vinegar and all that stuff, if you want a sweet savory combo. They also have one with truffle oil, If you wanted to stray from the traditional cheese offering. One of the food trucks at my kiddo's back to school night last week and spent over $65 (w/ tip) for 4 sandwiches some waters. My kids grilled cheese was good but the sprinkle of bacon is hardly worth the upcharge. The specialty Dio was again good and tasty but the truck's suggested addition of ham was again not worth the upcharge and felt I got taken ($2 for a slice of ham I believe). Then they burnt my Ruben so bad it was inedible. I mean a truck specializing in grilled sandwiches and willing to serve a clearly chard black carcinogen. Straight to the trash cash as I didn't have the time or energy to send it back...they knew what they served me. Truck is at my office building today and it will be a hard pass. read more

Not a big fan. Tried their food truck for lunch. I think the portion size of the sandwich was very small for the high price. I got the go to regular grilled cheese sandwich and it seemed almost like a kids sized sandwich. The taste and quality was very good though. Had trouble with my debit card getting double charged by their system. They did finally reimburse me a couple days later and corrected the double charge. I would say for $8.99 for a sandwich and chips, either they need to lower their prices or increase the size of the sandwich. read more

It was our first visit to Sweet Cheesus' Food Truck at Riptide 01/20/18 for their 1st Anniversary; we truly regret we waited a full year! The women Jodi and Mariah are wonderful people and even though it's a food truck they make you feel right at "home" we can only describe the food as delicious or as I said as we were leaving "your food is filled with yummy-ness and love". We checked out this food truck at the Four Mile Historic Park Fourth of July fest. While the sandwiches were delightful (five stars), we waited 90 minutes between getting in line, and taking our first bite. I don't know if WWCD didn't anticipate the crowd, or if the fault is more on Four Mile Historic Park for not bringing in more food truck options, but in any case, it was a very long time to wait. Our young kids were surprisingly patient, but feeding them dinner at 9:30 at night is far from ideal. We even missed the start of the fireworks show, which was the whole reason we were there to begin with. The staff were busting their butts, and I appreciate their hard work (and like I said, delicious food), but they either need more grills, more people, or to serve smaller crowds (i.e. A brewery instead of a festival). read more

I've heard a lot about this truck and, after finally running into it, our family was not disappointed. Each of us had a different sandwich and my grandson had a plain cheese sandwich.
