    Beef Fried Rice
    Jonathan L.

Great location in downtown Dallas it's hard to find since it's in the basement of a building but the food was good. Very hot and fresh and the portion was great and it was only $12. I would recommend this location

I used to go to school at El Centro College, as well as working there. Used to frequent Chef Wang 2-3 times a week. I live downtown now, and I still go, 26 years later. Same owners, and I've watched as the kids have grown up. They downsized the menu a few years ago, but the food is still a big favorite. Wang's Beef is my go-to. It's quiet, quick, and they have fish tanks. Pics are from several visits.

I ordered the Mongolian beef with white rice. Great flavor. A bit of heat to the food but doesn't burn like you swallowed lava. Was perfect. Staff is very friendly. Decor is nice. Place was clean and tidy.

    Vegetable lomein

Started my search for the best Lomein in Texas and it has brought me here. Small Chinese restaurant inside the tunnels with a view of the hotel and pavilion building. Ordered a Orange Chicken with fried rice and vegetable lomein... I was questioned why I wanted to order both..? (" Ordered the orange chicken Incase the lomein was un-edible. ") Well here's the verdict. The lomein is pretty good. It's not the best, but compared to others in walking distance it's actually pretty good. The orange chicken is really good, not so much as sweet but has a pretty good spice level to it. White meat chicken and not overly crispy. The fried rice was a disappointment, you can't even call it fried rice. it was more or less just a cooked brown ish rice. The egg roll is also just okay and not great.

The food is terrible. It is sweet with no favor which is very wired. It service is just like the food lazy. Do not waste your time coming here.

Pretty good lunch place to grab a quick bite. I had the orange chicken and it was prepared quickly. Everyone was friendly and seemed like quite a few people frequent this location for lunch. The serving size was just right for lunch. I'll be coming back every now and then to have a quick meal.

Yummy food, decent pricing, clean and decorated to theme. Also, the aquarium is lovely to see. Kind staff...convenient location, too. Great view while dining in.

Food is not bad, American Chinese food standard. Just take note that there is no restroom found in the building. Beware!

Our waiter was very welcoming and friendly and gave us some great recommendations since it was our first time dining there. We tried the following dishes: Soup Dumplings (Xiao Long Bao), Gong Bao Pork, and Stir-Fried La Mian with Vegetables. My favorite dishes were the beef dish and the soup dumplings. I would definitely order those again. It was also really nice to see the chef hand-pull the noodles right behind our table, which added to the whole experience. This visit, we hosted family from East Texas who'd been here once before. Starting with delicious Xiao Long Bao soup dumplings and Bucks Spare Ribs, we moved on to Ants Climbing Trees (Ma Yi Shang Shu), a classic Sichuan dish of vermicelli cooked with minced pork, in fermented chili sauce, with garlic and green onions, Salt and Pepper Shrimp, crispy bite-size shrimp tossed with green onion, basil, garlic, and jalapeño, and Sichuan Green Beans, stir-fried with garlic, mushrooms, and minced pork. We opted for one order of white rice and one of fried rice with our entrées. The restaurant is almost always packed if you don't have a reservation, but the vibe is relaxed and casual without being loud. In fact, it's so popular, you may have to wait a bit even with a reservation, since they want you to enjoy your meal vs rushing you out to "turn the table."

I would have let this slide if it happened once. I ordered through Uber Eats, and this is now the second time the fried rice I clearly paid for with both entrees was missing from my order. After the first time, I called to let them know, and the response was dismissive. When it happened again, I called again and got the same lack of concern. At that point, it's not a mistake, it's a pattern. At these prices, basic order accuracy and customer service should be a given. As for the food, it's average at best. It doesn't even reach Panda Express level in terms of consistency or flavor, which makes the pricing even harder to justify. I don't see the value here, and based on repeated issues and the lack of accountability, I wouldn't recommend.
