Ive tried their Chicago dog and cup of chili. Again, not spectacular, but decent. I've had their purist dogs as we and those definitely didn't hit as good as the one with the toppings. We've been to at least 30 weddings collectively and the food at ours was top two. We did a salad course, pasta, 5 varieties of pies, two wood fired veggie variations and the cast iron cookies. MPT also handled cocktail hour--arrancini, chicken tenders and chicken meat balls, plus charcuterie and crudite. Everything was so delicious and impressive, our guests still talk about it. We had an upscale backyard wedding, and the guys accommodated our request to do family style service. The execution was completely seamless and the presentation was even more intentional than we expected. The food was hot, delicious, perfectly timed and well portioned. I honestly do not have a single bad thing to say. We have been thinking of other events we can host just so we can use Mobile Pie Truck again. Frank was very easy to work with, communicative and professional. They accommodated requests for additional items like pastas and salads we were interested in that weren't on the menu. They helped curate our courses and offered suggestions on what would and wouldn't work for menu options at scale. They were friendly and clean and they had a really impressive setup. We found their pricing to be the most reasonable of all the vendors we looked into, and the execution was truly seamless. Wedding food even at the more dialed in venues can be so boring, forgettable and most of all expensive. Mobile Pie Truck was the antidote to all the typical wedding catering pitfalls and then some.
