Cross Roads Deli -- let's get somethin' straight. They make a bacon, egg, and cheese so good it would make a Bronx deli lose its hood card. No exaggeration. When I want a sammich, I want a SAMMICH, and this is the best one in town. Period. Now apparently some dipshit drove their car through the front door. Tragic. Unfortunate. went into crossroads this week to support their re opening. Unfortunately I was shocked to see how unkept and dirty the establishment was for just opening. It's like they didn't clean post construction. Visable filth on floors , and glass displays. The plastic bins kept behind register that hold wedges and rolls were so dirty I really wanted to leave. The white plastic bin tops were VERY visibly brown and soiled. And that's where they are keeping their bread goods? Please do better crossroads. read more

If there was a rating higher than 5 stars, Crossroads Deli would deserve it. My son had a party this weekend and Crossroads catered the food. He went with German. Among the things he ordered were- Schnitzel, bratwurst, sauerbraten, cucumber salad, red cabbage and potato pancakes. Everything was incredibly delicious! Next year we will double the potato pancake order! I am not usually a fan of catered food, but this was over the top. I highly recomment them for catering. Just had lunch at Crossroads Deli. They didn't serve my wife what she ordered. When we brought it to the attention of the staff. They said they were out of the key ingredients. Yet we were not informed before paying for it. No one apologized for this instead made excuses for why they were out of eveything and rudely walked away while my wife was talking. I stopped in here on a whim and I'm so glad I did. They have a huge selection of hot and cold sandwiches and everything that we have tried has been delicious. Very reasonably priced, especially for the portion size you receive. Parking can be a little challenging at times, but don't let that deter you from stopping in! read more

Great food and great service! We hired crossroads deli for my daughter's 2nd Birthday BBQ bash of 80 people. They did the grilling of hamburgers, hotdogs and chicken and lots of sides that were all amazing...their cornbread is delish! I highly recommend crossroads for your party catering! read more

All I can say is filthy. I peeked behind the counter and the employees were making sandwiches on top of a dirty counter filled with old dried food. The food in the showcase ie: tuna and salads had a hard film on top which turned my stomach, not fresh. The guys were tossing the cold cuts into the cooler in between making sandwiches. The flat grill is a grease pit and wasn't cleaned before they threw my food on top of the old grease with left over bits of cooked I don't know what. I got home and my clothes smelled like old oil just from being there for 10 minutes. I think the residents within the "downtown" section of Mahopac have decided to settle with a deli that is way below par considering the only other one within walking distance sells expired food. (Best of the worst?) Hopefully when the owner (who is very nice I might add) is there, the operation runs a bit smoother. I'm not going back or adding more stars until I see this place spotless.
