A great addition to our neighborhood, a deli that has it all! I believe it's a family owned business and they work very hard there. I am always satisfied with my sandwich and the quick service. They are a little restrictive with their menu during the Covid pandemic and the shelves are a little empty but I assume it's all due to this crazy Covid time. This deli is very well known by all the highschooler kids. They also have some tables outside for a dining, no waiter service, only a table to eat your lunch. This deli is only open for breakfast and lunch and has changed their hours temporarily. Please support your local businesses, they all need our help during this time! This review for catering. Enjoyed a casual dinner catered by Lakeland Deli. Truly delightfully prepared. Fresh ingredients. Noteworthy was a salad not on the menu: A Baby Spinach salad and vinaigrette with toppings of olives, red onion, and sautéed eggplant coated with breadcrumbs in lieu of croutons. Stopped here based on reviews and craving a high quality sandwich. When I saw they used Boar's Head I knew I was in the right place. Super friendly and quick staff. YUMYUMYUM! This deli is amazing. We stopped here this past weekend on our way back to Yonkers from camping near Bish Bash Falls off the Taconic. We wanted sandwiches and looked up places off Taconic on our way home and found this place which is next to a frozen custard shop. I got the Awesome Ash sandwich, breaded chicken cutlet, bacon, hot sauce, cheese, and ranch dressing. OMG it was amazing! The rolls were so good and the chicken and all of it- I want another one right now. My fiancé had the Little Italy and he was in HEAVEN. This place is as good as it gets and it a delicious deli- was super excited to see they were open on a Sunday. They also had outdoor seating- which was great since we had our dogs with us. We sat outside and enjoyed the food... I want to go back north just to get another sandwich from LakeLand and I just might! read more

Finally a place with a salad bar. And a GOOD salad bar! My brother has gotten a few (Boars Head) sandwiches from here, and said they were all good. I made a salad from the DIY salad bar, and all the ingredients were fresh. You can choose between mixed greens or chopped romaine and they have many options for toppings: tomatoes and sun-dried tomatoes, cucumbers, fresh mozzerella, broccoli, corn, chick peas, mushrooms, bacon, boiled eggs, beets, olives, seeds and croutons. It was yummy! Just wish they had better (and more healthy) selection of salad dressings. Currently they offer generic packets of all the common dressings. read more

This area has needed a good deli for quite some time and now we finally have one! I went in today to get a sandwich and to check out what else they had to offer. They serve good quality meats and cheeses (Boar's Head). The sandwich I ordered was great and they had a pretty large menu. They certainly didn't seem to cut corners and my sandwich wasn't lacking any of the items I requested. Although I didn't try any of them, their cold pasta salads looked pretty good. They had a good selection of drinks and chips. Prices were decent also. I got turkey on a hard roll, a small bag of chips, an a soda for $8. And like I said, there was a lot of meat on my sandwich! Will NOT return!!!!! I came in for a bagel in the morning and there was only one person working the entire store. I waited over 10 minutes because this ONE employee (may be the owner) was trying to do one hundred things at once. In addition to the wait I noticed as she was making my bagel she was not wearing gloves!!!! Totally unsanitary as she was running back and forth from the register and touching filthy money. Lastly, as I observed her packing food for the gentleman in front of me, she put his utensils on the dirty counter top. I was appalled and disgusted. I came here the grab a bacon, egg, and cheese on my break from work and it probably was one one of the worst ones i've ever had. The roll was actually stale! Bacon wasnt good either and people working up front just didnt seem like they cared at all about their customers. Anyone looking for a good bacon egg and cheese avoid thia place at all costs. This place is SUPER clean and has VERY tasty food... and a mini salad bar to boot! There are small tables and chairs inside (and out in the summer) and they even deliver locally. Not a clue in the world what people find appealing about this place. Had a very long and stressful day at work right down the road and normally I would have Sansotta deliver but they aren't open Mondays. So naturally I settled for less and had my very first Lakeland Deli experience. When I called asking about delivery, the man who answered told me "it wouldn't be worth my while," so I volunteered to pick it up. As if that wasn't enough to piss me off, I then asked about container sizes for pasta salad and received another crappy response: "let's just deal with that when you get here." So I get to the store to pick up my sandwich and ask for my pasta salad serving. A woman asked what I needed and the man helping me told her he would handle it. I happened to notice that while she was wearing gloves, he wasn't. I was nauseated while I watched him shovel the pasta salad as it slid all over his fingers and fell into the container. It didn't stop there, he then placed my fork onto the dirty counter top and then placed it in the bag. The pasta salad sucked. I also ordered a sandwich which was the only decent thing about this experience but Sansotta is by far better. I will never go back here. Ever. read more

Lakeland Deli has some good eats! If you're going to get a breakfast sandwich I would recommend getting it on a bagel. The bagels were fresh and soft. It was effortless biting into. I've also had the lunch sandwiches as well. The awesome ash and the angry bird are delicious. Not just that but the size of the sandwiches are is more than filling. I unfortunately am not a big fan of the coffee. Coffee is big for me! Only good thing about it is that it's not burnt. I would recommend this deli, or at least trying it! read more
