Although I usually only get ramen at more well-known spots, I had to try this out, and was low key impressed. Atmosphere/Ambiance - 5/5 - Located inside Legacy Hall (which has sooo many places), just walk up and order, grab it and hopefully find a place to sit (crowded). Staff - 5/5 - Friendly. I am sure they will provide recommendations, but I already knew what I wanted. Food/Drink - Ordered the following: - Shoyu - 4/5 - $14 - Broth was clear tasting and not bad. I prefer pork broth, which leads into the next item. - Tonkotsu - 4.5/5 - $14 - This one was much better, as I recommend pork broth over chicken in ramen. I recommend this if you are craving ramen here. - Japanese Cheesecake - 3/5 - $5 - Went with the green tea flavor. Good, but TINY. Met up at Legacy Hall for lunch. I got the lobster roll from Dock's. BFF wanted to try something different so she went with the seafood combo ramen which included lobster and shrimp. I had to nudge her a little bit because I wanted to taste it. LOL. And, yes, we love lobster. She thoroughly enjoyed it. I may have to get it myself the next time I'm there. read more

Husband tried the Tonkotsu Ramen and he says it was delicious but has to give it a four star for the portion size. He wishes the bowl was a bit more full but overall the taste is great and the service is friendly and the ambiance is great as well! Definitely would go back and try another bowl! read more

This hibachi spot is located in the legacy food hall in Legacy West. Of all of the food places there, we decided to try it out but was not too happy with our order. The line was long so we thought that maybe it was good. I totally should have yelped it but was thinking how bad can stir fry be. We ordered through a lady up front taking orders, then we paid with another employee, then waited on the side until our food was ready. We had enough time to walk to the middle area to get our drinks from the fountain drink station. We decided to order: 1. Stir Fry Yakisoba with Steak and Chicken - this was way too salty and the chicken and steak was dry. I did not care for this much and wished I had ordered something else. 2. Tonkatsu Ramen - it was just okay, nothing great but good enough to eat. Broth was not too salty which is good and the flavor was okay. 3. Chicken Karaage - this too was a bit salty but fried well. There was no service as this was a food court but the ambiance was good. The ramen was really mediocre but that was not unexpected for a food court. I ordered the ramen because I don't fancy the other choices in the food court but I would not return unless I don't have a choice. read more

Wanted to try something new. Wanted hibachi. Decided to try this place since it's close to my job. I must say it was pretty delicious hibachi all things considered.. I like to call it fast food hibachi lol but it was delicious. I got the shrimp and my partner got the steak. The shrimp they gave me where well seasoned and a good size. I also got quite a few shrimps in my dish. I really look forward to trying the ramen next time I visit. read more

This is one of my go to places around the area. I come here atleast once or twice a month and get the chicken fried rice and the rangoons. The staff remembers me and is very nice and quick with it. This place is located inside legacy west, there's plenty of seating upstairs, downstairs and outside on the second floor! The scenery is nice . The service was very friendly. We stopped here on the way in to look at the menu while one of the employees talked and played with my daughter. We did not order at that time but we came back around and the service was the same, we ordered and the food did not disappoint! It was very flavorful and different than any stir fry and fried rice I've had. This is a must try! read more

Pros: - Service was quick considering how busy Legacy Hall is - Good portion size Cons: - The chicken was extremely dry - The entire bowl had absolutely NO flavor - The veggies were very crunchy and needed to be cooked more - It's really expensive for a bowl of flavorless food I was very disappointed. Yummm! I love me some ramen and they had so many interesting and delicious options here! I asked for a recommendation, and unfortunately the employee was unable to give me one. He didn't really know which was kind of odd but he may have been new or never tried the food (I would if I worked there ). I went ahead and ordered the Steak Ramen. I was gonna play it safe and get Tonkotsu since that's always a fav of mine, but I'd never seen steak in ramen, so I went for it. Now, the steak itself didn't have much seasoning, but the beefy flavor added something special to the broth. The steak pieces were also SO INCREDIBLY tender! Like, I had to chew 3 times and done type tender. New York strip isn't an "untender" cut, but I didn't imagine it would have been Prime Filet type tender! I can't wait to come back and try more! I love Ramen. So when I went to Legacy Hall and saw that they had a new ramen restaurant, of course I went. BAD DECISION. I ordered the shrimp ramen. While the shrimp was tasty and perfectly cooked, the noodles were nasty and the broth was worse and there were no veggies. Just a bowl full of too much broth and regular thick noodles. $13 wasted. Avoid this place and just go to any of the other options around. Everything else in the hall is delicious. This particular place has been open 3 weeks and clearly need to figure some things out. read more

Inside of Legacy Hall, got the veggie ramen without seaweed! It wasn't bad but wish it had more veggies. I got the egg in it for an extra $1 but it wasn't even a whole egg, just half. And to make it spicy, it was another $1.The broth was flavorful, but just felt overpriced. read more

Holy cow the Tonkotsu was salty. I got mine spicy, but it was a salt overload. Felt like I was drinking seawater towards the end. But it's still bearable. Not inedible. But dang y'all need to add more water to the broth. It's about $11-12 for a bowl. Edit: they seem to have fixed the saltiness, but I specifically asked for less salt. It's alright for the price I guess. read more

The food is solid--I'd say around an 8 out of 10--but what really makes this place stand out is the portion size and value. Even with my boys' appetites, we almost always leave with leftovers. Prices are very reasonable for what you get. I've also never had an issue with the staff. Everyone is friendly, helpful, and keeps things moving efficiently despite how busy it gets.

I love that their kitchen is open to view and everything is so clean!

My family all ordered the braised beef noodle soup and found it to be authentic taiwanese flavored. Cooked just right with a bit of spicyness to it, and garnished with delicious veggies. The food was not only tasty, but presented well in the bowls. Highly recommend as we had the perfect experience! Don't let the concept of an eatery inside a super market or food court fool you.

I found a seating to be brightly lit, well kept and clean. We came here for the Scallion Pancake Beef Rolls which were excellent. And then we split a bowl of the Chengdu Braised Beef which had a good mix of spiciness and good broth. Overall, both dishes were excellent and we were quite satisfied. We'll definitely come back here again next time we're shopping for Chinese groceries!
