I attended the Lobster Extravaganza class with Chef Baba last Friday, and it was fantastic! Chef Baba was knowledgeable, entertaining, and made everyone feel comfortable regardless of their cooking experience. The class was well organized, hands-on, and filled with helpful tips and techniques that we can actually use at home. The lobster dishes were absolutely delicious, and the quality of the ingredients was excellent. I will definitely be back for another class!

What are you doing this Saturday evening? If you don't yet have plans and you want a fun Saturday night out, date night or fun with friends I highly recommend going to Chef Bubas cooking class. It is a fun wonderful experience. Chef Buba has moved to the Davie, Hollywood area on Stirling road in The Harvest Cafe. About 35 people not only get to help cook, but you also get to eat a fabulous meal with a wonderful glass of homemade wine. Not only was the food fabulous (as was the wine) but the dessert was as well. To add to the fun of the evening, chef Buba tells stories and is quite funny. I highly recommend coming to a Saturday evening and join in the fun. You definitely won't be disappointed.

I bought a Groupon for four people to attend Chef Baba's cooking class, and we were all so excited to go! I thought we were cooking, but it turns out that we got to sit and learn how to cook! The chef does these classes in two locations; one in Fort Lauderdale, and one in Delray Beach. Today we attended the class at Bagel Twins restaurant in Delray Beach. Tonight's menu included Lobster! We started off with a delicious Lobster ravioli with a lemon wine sauce and wilted arugula. From there we had the most divine lobster bisque I've ever tasted. Chef Cooks all of this in front of you and asks for participation from the audience. He had many Sous chefs tonight! After the bisque, he made the most incredible Lobster bruschetta with a balsamic glaze on top. And to finish off the evening he served the most delicious lobster mac and cheese I have ever had in my entire life! When you take his classes, he will email you the recipes of everything he cooked that night. My friends and I had so much fun and we would definitely go back for another demonstration and meal! Such a fun and interactive evening!

The cooking class was such a fun and interactive experience! The more outgoing you are, the more you'll enjoy it. Chef Baba is funny, a little sarcastic, and really encourages everyone to cook with their heart rather than stressing over perfection. One of the coolest parts is that he makes his own wine from scratch and gives everyone a glass to try. You can also BYOB, which makes the experience even more relaxed and enjoyable. The class is group-based, so volunteers help cook while everyone participates and learns together before sharing the food. It creates a really fun atmosphere and makes for a great date night or group outing. The food was incredibly tasty and felt very authentic. My family and I definitely learned a recipe that could easily become part of our Sunday dinner rotation. I'm excited to try it again once Chef Baba sends the recipe! Overall, it was a great experience. Plus, if you come back as a repeat customer, there are some really nice deals offered. Highly recommend!

What an amazing class!! Chef baba is so funny, knowledgeable and hosts an amazing class. I love how he uses all of the participants in the class and even the shyest person will open up after participating. All of the dishes were delicious. We made the penne allá vodka, bruschetta, white bean soup and Zabaglione. I will definitely come back again.

Chef Baba's cooking class was an awesome experience! The class was hands-on, fun, and really well organized. Chef Baba made everything easy to follow while still making it feel exciting and creative. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does. Definitely a great experience for anyone who loves good food and wants to learn something new!

What a fun experience! We bought a Groupon for the traditional Italian cooking class and had a great time! Chef is funny and is "old school Italian" ( his words not mine). I cook but learned some great tips and the food was good. I would have had more sauce on my pink vodka aside with pasta, but the homemade red wine, Tuscan soup and berries sabayon were excellent. He's a hoot and we will definitely be retuning!!!

Chef Baba absolutely delivered. One of those meals where every dish that comes out makes you pause for a second because the flavors are just that good. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and well thought out, and you can tell there's real passion behind the cooking. Nothing felt rushed or generic - every bite felt intentional and full of flavor. It's rare to find food that feels both elevated and comforting at the same time, but Chef Baba nailed it. Definitely one of the better dining experiences I've had recently. Already looking forward to the next visit.

This was such a fun and unique experience! The food was absolutely delicious, and I learned so much about Italian cuisine along the way. Lots of laughs and a great atmosphere -- highly recommend if you're looking for a memorable and enjoyable time. Thanks for an amazing experience!

Ask the Community - Chef Baba Cooking Class

Does the class offer beer and wine? Spirits? Or do you BYOB?

Chef Baba served us a glass of his homemade red wine. When I go next time I am going to ask if I can bring a bottle of my own white wine.

Do you have gluten free options? Cookie sounds delicious, but do have food for the classes?

I have an amazingly delicious gluten free chocolate chip almond butter cookie recipe I make all the time! You'd never believe how good it is for you and tastes so wonderful

What days and times are the classes given?

The classes are on Sunday evenings from 6 to 9 pm. The actual dates are fluid. After you buy a coupon, you contact him and he lets you know the next available date.
