No ma'am, I don't blame you, but one of the two groups took my stuff. I had them in a case and didn't even think to check it until I needed a meter. The container was empty. They worked like a well-oiled machine, meticulously and carefully. They completed the work an hour and 15 minutes ahead of the projected time, all the while treating items with respect. We had packed many boxes and moved them ourselves, but there were many Home Depot moving boxes left over. They used those boxes, thus saving us the cost of paying for their boxes. I really appreciated this. Also,they are going to move the boxes that we ourselves packed, which saves us money. The Good: The lead…read more(Emra) was great. They were running late and he called to give us a heads up. He did a great job wrapping my furniture and cleaning up the messes that the other two made. If you can get him with his best guys then you will probably have a great experience other wise. The bad: The other two guys could at best he described as day laborers (hopefully) because they had no clue what they were doing and eventually after 4 hours of crying watching them pack and after the last piece of furniture was loaded we let them on their way. In the 4 hours they were here they didn't manage to pack a single room. We had prepacked most of our house so all there was to do was a couple decorative pieces which we had run out of bubble wrap for and the kitchen (everyone's nightmare) so we figured it wouldn't take long at all. The first sign of trouble was when it was clear the packers didn't know what they were doing when they stacked our prestacked piles with the top box on the bottom rather than lifting them from the bottom causing many broken boxes. The second sign of trouble was when we watched them attempt to pack our kitchen. One of them dropped a box of spices and they shattered leave about 5 pounds of sugar on our floor and we are still - a day later - finding random spices under our fridge. We also observed them pack our decorate serving bowls upside down and on multiple occasions had to have the lead repack boxes that were overstuffed and would not close (again, they were content to leave them like that). The Ugly: My wife had to explain to the packers that mattresses needed to go into a mattress bag; the guy was getting ready to take our mattress uncovered to the truck. When we had had enough was when one of the guys when instructed to put our espresso machine back into the box started tearing apart the Styrofoam so that it would fit. Luckily we stopped him in time and - in fairness - the other guy helped me figure out how everything lined up. What was the last straw for us was when we realized that our stand mixer had not yet been packed but the Styrofoam for it was there and the box not. It turned out that they had just put random stuff into it. At that point we had had enough and we just rushed them out. When we unpacked the stand mixer box we just had to laugh. Inside were all the lids for our nested Tupperware but the Tupperware itself was just sitting on the counter. The top to our tea kettle was also in that box but the tea kettle was still on our stove. We spent the rest of the night doing what we had thought we had paid professionals to do. I mean I guess we just paid $1K for a great dinner party story but I would advise you look elsewhere or be insistent on who you get. Like I said, Emra is great and this has no bearing on him but you are the company you keep and you hire so I will give him a nod and give them 2 stars but honestly avoid this company.

Not sure if having more people could've helped that though - should we really have paid for 8.5 hours for a 1.5 bedroom move or could there have been more people? - Most of my stuff arrived in the same condition which is always the scariest part about moving, like my huge mirror, my white couch, and most of my furniture - Very nice The okay: - I'm still finding pretty deep scratches on expensive furniture and my walls/floors of my brand new house. My old apartment was extremely hard to move from, so I understand that it wasn't easy. The move took a lot longer than expected because of it (which wasn't really a problem for me cost wise, as I understood the difficulty). I'm sure our movers were super tired. I read online that you could submit a claim usually if you found problems after, so when I reached out, they told me it had to be done within the time they were there (I was too busy directing them where to go even though things were labeled and didn't want to keep them after 9pm) so they offered me $50... but I had damages on multiple pieces of very expensive furniture. - They didn't have supplies for unassembly/assembly and had to use ours. They weren't able to unassemble our bed frame because they didn't have tools and although they were very careful and didn't scratch it (I hope), they did not wrap it even though I told them to be extra careful with it. - One mover didn't wear a mask during the move - I labelled most of the items on which rooms they should go to and I still had to direct them to the correct rooms. They got bedrooms mixed up and we had to move some stuff ourselves after they left. - The hourly rate has increased a lot since my first inquiry late last summer - Surcharge for using a card - had to scramble to get cash I'm pretty happy with how most of our items arrived but with scratches on certain expensive furniture pieces, I'm a bit disappointed with the service and insurance process. For the price, I don't think we even saved money by going with Triple 4. Overall, I will probably go with another moving company for my next move.

I had limited items remaining in my home, mostly large items such as washer dryer, beds and mattresses etc. that I wanted moved to a location 15 minutes away. They arrived on time, and once they took a look at the items to be moved, confirmed that the time estimate that I had provided (while overriding the hire a helper phone agent) was good and they did not expect to spend more time. I could see that they diligently wrapped the items in protective lining, even the items with some pre-existing damage to make sure there was no further damage. They also uninstalled, and then at the new location reinstalled my washer dryer perfectly. Overall, I paid exactly what I expected and the service was outstanding.

I have not used the gate for 1.5 years but the gate has only operated 5 months of that time. Better get your facts straight. I have video of it all and fully expected your joke of a response, just as you have responded to others who've complained about your pathetic service. Your problem Marcus is you don't ever "do the right thing" and are as shady as they come. I will deal with you legally and it will not cost me a dime.

This is my new home and it's already ruined. I'm even disappointed with the services provided in our beginning conversation. The owner promised 3 men and stated that it would take "30 minutes" to also take down a playset. Not lying I have the text messages to provide it. I even provided pictures of the playset. When the guys arrived, they stated that they don't know why he said 30 minutes because it has many bolts that needs to be taken out. So the playset was never taken down. Fast forward to the actual move of the big items. I want to start by saying that the movers were very nice! But the owner did not properly communicate the need for this move, which puts them in a terrible situation. These two men tried to do an entire 5 bedroom house move in 3-4 hours resulting in a large hole in my ceiling and one of the movers throwing up extremely bad in my restroom from over exertion. I reached out to the owner and he has yet to reply with a fix for my ceiling, which was quoted $300 + by now 4 different places. I am extremely disappointed out of $600 for the move and now $300 for a hole that should be taken care of by the owner.

I would NOT recommend Raceway Moving to anyone. I originally decided to use this company because…read morethey came highly recommended by my neighbor. Unfortunately, my experience was far less than optimal. I was moving from a one-bedroom apartment with a garage to a two-bedroom duplex. The items being moved from the apartment were relatively limited: a computer desk, washer and dryer, small compact refrigerator, jewelry box, couch, and totes. When the movers arrived at my apartment, my son-in-law was there to let them in. When I arrived, I found two movers struggling to disassemble my couch. I had to step in and show them how to get the couch out of the door. This immediately raised concerns about their experience and efficiency. It then took approximately two hours just to load the truck, which I found excessive considering the amount of furniture and belongings being moved. I also questioned why they loaded the apartment items first and then the garage items, rather than organizing the load in a more efficient manner. When we arrived at the duplex, I was quoted approximately an hour and a half for unloading. I specifically told the movers that all of my black and yellow totes were to go into the storage area. Yet those totes ended up inside my house, and I had to move them myself after paying $584 for the move. The situation became even more frustrating when I received a payment link from the manager, Brad. It took me more than 10 minutes to make the payment because it was moving day and I was simultaneously dealing with the internet provider, TV mounting technician, phone account representative, and several other things that come with moving. Rather than understanding the circumstances, Brad instructed his workers to stop working until payment was received. I did make the payment, but I continued to see the workers sitting on the back of the truck. When I questioned this, I was told, "Ma'am, I have to do what my boss says." I called Brad to discuss the situation. He stated that there had only been approximately a five-minute lapse between instructing the workers to stop and receiving my payment. He also explained that once 1:30 arrived, the job would be considered finished and anything remaining on the truck would be placed in my driveway while we discussed how I wanted to proceed with additional paid time. I explained that I had no problem paying for additional time when the workers were actually working. However, I did have a problem with workers sitting around while I was paying for their time. I told him that if my belongings were not inside my house by 1:30, I would not agree to pay additional time because I felt the time they had already been given was not used efficiently. At 1:30, my belongings were still sitting in the driveway. The workers then offered to cut 30 minutes from the additional time and moved the remaining items from the driveway into the house before leaving. Unfortunately, my couch was also damaged and torn during the move, which I believe was a result of inexperienced handling. Overall, this was an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience. The lack of efficiency, communication, organization, and care for my belongings was not what I expected from a professional moving company. I would never use Raceway Moving again, and I cannot recommend them to anyone. I strongly encourage anyone considering this company to do their research and consider other options.
