Got directed to this spot by a fellow yelp elite and hearing they are from Philly and him recommending a Cheesesteak spot I knew this had to be legit. Located in a shopping strip this small little shop is pumping out big big flavors and amazing quality. First of all I knew I was in good hands when I saw a simple menu and I also heard the stop serving when they run out of buns. Means things are fresh and they don't cut corners. Inside decor is all Philly as expected. They also have a easy 6 step ordering process which I love. No F'ing around. I ordered cheesesteak with no seeded bun and originally I had asked for whiz and who I believe was the owner suggested I go with their Cooper brand Cheddar. I was glad I took that advise. The cheesesteak was perfection. One bite and I literally had to take a minute to compose myself. It was like I was transported to Philly. To say that I devoured it is an understatement. I had to refrain myself from buying another one for later. It was simply amazing. The meat. The bread. The cheese. Everything tasted like quality and you could also taste the passion and love. Super great and authentic cheesesteaks. I stopped in here after hearing how wonderful the food is. I was blown away by the hospitality and quality of every ingredient. It is evident that the owners care a lot about not only the business and it's presentation, but the quality of their ingredients and where they are sourced from. Was looking forward to trying this place. A LOT of people in the Naples area said it was good and many from Philly. Tried a couple times but they close early. Really a lunch time place. (Who closes at 6pm on the weekend?) Counter place in a strip mall. Not much signage. I side they have a few sports teams signs but nothing special. Friendly counter person. Have one star for that. They also have crab fries but did not try them. Went for the traditional - just a Philly cheese. Whiz. Wit. (With fried onions.) I was surprised when it was $17 and they were looking for a tip. So $20 for a cheesesteak. Hoped it would be good at that price. Could have gone to Wawa and gotten one with extra cheese and oregano and oil for 30% less and it is good. Ate it with 12 minutes. Still pretty hot. Wrapped well. Positives: Cheese had been spread over the meat and was not gloppy. And it was real whiz. Roll was just ok. Bland. Meat was bland - needed a little salt and pepper. Probably a bit more oil. Onions were awful. Big. Flavorless. Used the outer skin. If they were good, not enough either. Cheese quantity was good. Meat was 20% light, especially at that price. Think, not even close to as good as Pat's or Gino's, and certainly not even close to Tony Luke's, Dinic's, Angelo's, D'allasandro's, Steve's Prince of Steaks, Pepper Mill etc etc etc. At a much higher price. At a place that is as flavorless as its steaks. Next time, Wawa. Or if you are in the area head to Joey D's. Not only are their steaks a lot better and they have a nice bar and restaurant, but you can get a slice of legit boardwalk (Manco) pizza. Or some other good food. Or maybe the seeded roll and cooper sharp. We usually have them with whiz or sharp provolone but folks seem to like the seeded roll and slightly sharp American. And hey, I'm from Delco. Have had thousands of cheesesteaks in my life. We live on them. Would love a great cheesesteak placer closer to southern Naples. And I don't mean to be a Perr- Rick. It's hard to start a business and hats off to these folks. I hope they look at their pricing and or product and do better. Maybe get a Rita's Truck to stop by a few times a week. Maybe more hours could help too. A lot could be done to help the place. Truly wish it good luck! Came on a Sunday around noon. A man named Kevin took our order he was friendly and helpful. We got a cheesesteak $15 and pizza cheesesteak dumplings $15. Everything was super delicious and hot.
