I really wanted to like this place more. It has a trendy decor, but the service was slow and the food was just okay. However, I'm a sucker for small businesses, especially new ones, so I will be back to try other things on their menu. Next time, I will call my order in ahead. Here's how my experience went: -- the young lady at the register, was welcoming and happy to walk me through the menu options as a first time customer --it took 35-40 mins for me to get my food (one Philly combo and one egg roll). I'd hate to see how this would go if I came in with my whole family of 7. For the most part, the food was just okay. The best thing was the salmon egg roll. I should've asked more questions, because for $4.99, I imagined I was getting more than one. I was so disappointed when I got home and opened the box to find this one roll (see picture). I went with the beef cheesesteak, a full 12 inch. I added grilled onion, bell pepper, mushrooms, mayo, and provolone cheese. In true Philadelphia fashion it had no seasoning. (side note: going to the original cheesesteak spots in Philly is so disappointing because the steaks are almost flavorless) Once I added seasoning and some garlic teriyaki sauce, it was much better! That said, there was little evidence of the veggies I asked to be added. The fries were fine. I'm a fan of crinkle cut so no complaints. My 1yo loved the fries. I tried the peach punch (mainly because they forgot I ordered lemonade and after 40 mins I wasn't willing to spend the time for it to be fixed). It was tasty. I'm going to go back and try a salmon Philly with a side of teriyaki sauce. Might even try the wings or the water ice. read more

Finally! A cheeeesesteak spot that serves the real cheesesteaks on 75 South! So the spot was a little hard to find but it's between a gym and subway trust me skip the gym get the sandwich.. lol. Very clean spot the young lady working the register was very friendly and knowledgeable. She the explained how to order and definitely let me know if I had questions. There's wings eggs rolls and of course phillyz with or without the WHIZ! Everything is made to order so take a moment to absorb it. I ordered the bully and it was delicious. No complaints bread wasn't too soggy or stale wings were good many flavors to any likes. The owners were super friendly and had a great conversation! Definitely will be back!!! read more

The lady who took our order was welcoming. She was friendly and nice. My guess is that it's family owned, and I enjoyed watching the children help with various tasks. You could tell that they take pride in their business. There was a TV playing music videos and a wall where people could sign their names. We placed a to go order, and it took around 30 mins for 2 cheesesteaks and 1 cheesesteak fry. It was a bit on the pricy side for us, but we are willing to pay for a good meal. This was unlike any Philly sandwich and fries that we've ever had; it was ground beef or ground steak. We all agreed that we felt as if we were eating scrambled hamburgers. Flavor was ok. I really want to like this place. The cheesesteaks here are amazing maybe even comparable to Dave's cheesesteaks. This place could've been amazing. With that being said, even with an amazing, great tasting menu. The customer service and the wait time over shadows the food. Owner and staff has got to do better. read more

Brand new, black owned restaurant in Stockbridge. I believe they've only been open for about a month. Located between the anytime fitness and subway. Staff was friendly, but I was slightly annoyed when I asked for suggestions and the waitress said she's tried them all instead of giving a true recommendation. Tried the Beef Philly. Overall, the sandwich was ok. I would rate it about a 7/10. Don't get me wrong, I would definitely suggest that anybody eat here but I messed up and set my expectations too high. The closest I've seen to authentic Philly steak! I got the chicken Philly and it was delicious! So here's the thing. If you're looking for a sub with fluffy white bread and beautiful green lettuce, you should probably go to subway because that's not how they do it in Philly! Flavor was on point. I live right around the corner from the Cheesesteak Spot. So, I and my family decided to give it a try. Was happy with the menu! But, when we got home, our order was not what we expected. The staff was pleasant. The cheesesteaks were not what we expected. Have tried some of the best in Philly! The meat was grounded, and no seasoning. Ordered mine with onions and mushrooms and they were grounded up as small as the meat. Mushrooms might have come out of a can. Now, we get the cheese, there was so little that it did not hold the sandwich together. This was my first time eating here. And I believe in giving restaurants and people a second chance. I am a small business owner, so I know how challenging it can be to survive the first few years of business. Oh, and forgot one positive, the Onion Rings were great!
