The music and energy always make for a fun night out, and it's easy to see why my friends enjoy coming here. A special shoutout to the fried okra--perfectly seasoned with a crispy coating--and the chicken sandwich, which was juicy, flavorful, and definitely one I'd order again. They were both excellent! My only disappointment was the service timing. I arrived first (a little early because I had a headache), and once my friends arrived about 20 minutes later, I placed my order immediately. They ordered after I did, yet somehow all of their meals came out about 20 minutes before mine. Don't get me wrong--when my food finally arrived, it was fresh, hot, and absolutely worth the wait. I just wish the kitchen had been more consistent with the order in which meals were served, especially since I ordered first. Overall, the delicious food, tasty drinks, live music, and great atmosphere outweigh the hiccup. I'd definitely come back and would still recommend it--just be prepared for a possible wait during busy times. Food: (4/5) Drinks: (4/5) Service: (3/5) Vibe/Entertainment: (5/5) Overall: (4/5)

Southside Wings on Old National is the definition of a hole-in-the-wall spot. It's strictly grab n…read morego, and one thing that always throws me off is that it doesn't even smell like food inside, which is usually a major red flag for me. That said, I keep coming back. My go to order is the 10 piece medium hot and lemon pepper wings with ranch fries, and the flavor is consistently on point. The seasoning and sauce combination is so good that it's the main reason I've ordered from them well over 100 times through Uber Eats. The biggest downside is the size of the wings. They're more like wing pieces than full wings, and they're definitely on the small side. Even more frustrating is the consistency of the orders. I'd estimate they've gotten something wrong about one out of every three times I've ordered, whether it's missing items, incorrect fries, or just overall mistakes with the order itself. If you're looking for huge wings or flawless service, this probably is not your spot. But if flavor is your priority and you're willing to overlook the occasional mistake and likely lack of hygienic practices Southside Wings still delivers one of the better tasting wing combos on Old National.
