The cheese and bell pepper pieces oozed and meshed super well with the meat. The ratio of the cheese and other ingredients were perfect where you aren't overwhelmed. Even the simple saltiness of the cheesesteak was really delectable. The add-on's was generous with options like fried onions and mushrooms. Even the hoagie was also a good texture. There was an adequate amount of oil and oiliness. Such a simple sandwich but also a super yummy one. The price you will be paying includes chips and a drink. The sandwich was pretty sizable were the hubs and I were able to share and be content as a snack.

When I requested a refund, it felt like they did not want to give my money back, which made an already frustrating situation even worse. The cook was rude, seemed annoyed by my request, and made me feel like I was inconveniencing them for simply asking for a refund after my order was canceled. The customer service was completely unprofessional. The cook was wearing a very baggy shirt, a hat, and had an eyebrow piercing, which helped me identify the employee I interacted with. Overall, this was a very poor experience from start to finish. Between the canceled order, the difficulty getting a refund, and the rude treatment, I am strongly dissatisfied and will not be returning or recommending this business to others.

I loved the caramelized jalepeno slices since they added it beautiful hint of spicy sweetness to the dish. The bread has a nice chew and it does not get soggy fast. - CONS: Not that special. I dont know why it's "korean" since it tasted like a normal cheesesteak but with a few jalapenos. I also wish they added in more jalapenos (I got like 3). 2) Garlic Fries with Ranch: - PROS: Very nice texture with a crispy outside and fluffy inside that is not too dense. The flavor comes from the garlic mince that is on top. The ranch is like a mixture of an aioli and tartar sauce (I think they make it in house, correct me if I'm wrong). - CONS: Inconsistent texture as some of the fries were dense but a few had that good hollow crisp bite. Quite oily too. Overall, I enjoyed the cheesesteak but would probably skip the fries next time. I do believe it is good especially the bread. I don't think it is worth all the hype it gets, but it is good.

He has been raving about the cheesesteaks for awhile, so I was excited to try it. The cheesesteak was fresh, filled with meat and cheese. A first bite it was tasty. When I walked in... the young lady at the counter was on the phone having a personal conversation. I sat there until she thought it was a good time in her conversation to take my order. I ordered my same ol beef cheesesteak with provolone cheese, onions and ketchup. I was told 15mins, then she picked up her phone and continued her conversation. I decided to wait in the car because the music in there was extremely loud and I couldn't hear my phone call nor myself think. After 15mins... I went back inside and was told a few more mins, which turned into me waiting a total of 30mins for my sandwich. I was tempted to ask for my money back, but I was hungry and had my tastebuds set to eat this sandwich. Fast forward to me getting home. My cheesesteak was lukewarm. I didn't make any stops and it usually is still piping HAWT when I get back home. Not this time. I swear I should've known something was up just by my initial experience in the restaurant. Anyways.... My sandwich was smelling a lil spicy... I see a hot red pepper in the wrapping and thought they just wrapped it in my sandwich by mistake. Um NO! There were hot red peppers throughout my sandwich. It was as if they realized the peppers did not belong on the sandwich and tried to take them out, but a whole lot of them were left in there. Instead of making a whole different sandwich and having the young lady tell me there was a mistake with my order, they gave it to me as if it was what I ordered. I wouldn't have minded if I liked spicy food, but I don't. I actually despise it and have heartburn from the sandwich! The sandwich was extremely spicy, then it was like extra pepper was added onto it as well. Then the amount of meat that used to come in the sandwich is not the same either. It was only a small portion of meat on it. As much as I would love to go back to Riley's.... I probably won't.

I'd ordered it with extra meat and extra grilled onions, peppers and mushrooms and there was little evidence of any onions, peppers or mushrooms at all. I have stewed about this for a day or so. I don't know what happened with your quality, but it was not worth it for 1/4 the price. On top of that Uber Eats said I needed to share the complaint within two days to get a refund. Consequently I will not get UBER One and UBER EATS validated my decision to get a Dash Pass instead. I wasn't trying to game the system for a refund but after years of great steak sandwiches from Woody's for well over a decade, I thought about it simmering. Woody's UBER Eats cost you a long time customer who used to laud your authenticity and because of one poor performance won't be back.

The owner told me someone once said Atlanta isn't a sandwich city, which is baffling. We are! It's just that no one wants to open a good sandwich spot. Featuring outdoor seating only, this is a charming spot right in the middle of a neighborhood intersection. We ordered at the window and ate out on their patio. The owner is a true gentleman--I'm so glad we got to meet him! He paired my sandwich with a nice pineapple Jarritos and suggested we try his homemade pasta salad. Y'all, this sandwich was on another level. We got the Jack's Fish Market, and it was freshly made and uniquely good. I can't say I have ever had a sub quite like it. It's going right up there with the Korean cheesesteak from Fred's and Hattie B's hot chicken sandwich as one of my favorite ATL sandwiches. I split it alongside the pasta salad, and that was more than enough food. Bottom line: if you live in ATL and haven't been here yet, shame on you. It's a very casual spot with unique flair, a great owner, and mind-bending food. Can't wait to go back!

From the moment I called in, his customer service was top tier. Professional, warm, and intentional. He made sure my order was right, sent a quick payment link so things moved efficiently, and had everything ready by the time I arrived. That's how you run a business. When I pulled up, he greeted me with a smile, brought my food out, and confidently told me I was going to enjoy it and he was absolutely right. I originally planned to grab my food and go, but his energy made me slow down, sit, pray, and actually enjoy the moment. I asked for a lime Jarritos, and he recommended pineapple instead to pair with the jerk seasoned wild caught salmon sandwich. That recommendation was on point and really elevated the whole experience. That sandwich hits. Every bite pops with flavor across your entire palate. The salmon was perfectly cooked, juicy but not soggy. The kale had the right crunch. The onions tied everything together. And that homemade garlic butter on the salmon took it to another level. It's a creative spin on a traditional cheesesteak. I'm sure the beef options are great too, but if you want seafood, this is the move. I've had a Philly cheesesteak in Philly before, and honestly, I don't need to go back. When I'm in Atlanta, I'm coming here. Sammy, thank you for the hospitality and the intentionality behind what you do. You didn't just serve food, you created an experience. Thank you for praying with me. I will definitely be back.

I originally visited the Doraville location a few yrs ago (next to the Super H Mart) before they closed. Not being impressed then, I'd checked Dave's off my list.
