Even The Three Princes of Serendip would have trouble finding this place...but once this treasure is found, you will guard the secret of their HOLY CANNOLI with the utmost reverence & your insignificant life! While Goggling health food stores in Modesto (a very rare & endangered species), I happen to come across one in an unexplored mysterious strip mall on Coffee Ave. Since they had no parking in front, I happened to park just were I could see this microscopic & magical Cheesecake Kitchen (aka "The CK"). After purchasing some over-priced Lactobacteria in the health food place for some deluded reason... (even though I had free untold trillions of quadrillions of perfectly good bacteria freeloading in my mouth, my refrig, or even in the air...& being a total moron & so stupid that even the dumbest of bacteria would laugh at me in gay derision for paying $15 for a bunch of bacteria....next I will be buying tap water in a bottle! )...I decided to explore the unknown. Being extremely cautious, I looked thru The CK window, but was not impressed with the bareness of the empty little place, became cheap & shy, and did not go in yet. I first checked out the next door stores...the Chinese looked crappy, but the Italian next door looked tiny, tasty, & way too crowded (Bella Italia?). I went inside & asked to look at the menu while paranoidly stealing furtive glances at the unsuspecting patrons & checking out what they were vigorously shoveling into their main facial orifice. Hmmm...Pizza looks good... "How long of a wait" I asked and they said 45 minutes! Huhh! I had to stop myself from yelling the best of Brooklyn expletives, while throwing myself on the floor in Grand Mal Seizure attack, simply to express myself. Anyway, that statement drove out of there fast than a Taliban gets out of a NRA convention! I finally, braved going into The CK...while going in a chime tinkled...darn now they know I here...and now I will have to buy something! Anyway, before anyone could come from the back, I rapidly scanned the case for Cheesecake. Yes, they had Cheesecake of several varieties & flavors, as well as, Cheesecake cupcakes....but wait, just wait...my peripheral sensors in the my far right visual field showed a rudimentary preliminary scan positive for the rare "Endangered Holy Cannoli". Suddenly I heard in my head: WARNING! WARNING! RED ALERT! HOLY DAMN CANNOLI WITHIN SENSOR RANGE! ALERT! ALERT! BRING MAIN SENSORS ON-LINE, ACTIVATE ALL TWO NEURONS, & GO TO WARP 10 TOWARD THE OBJECT TO CONFIRM! In my extreme excitement, I almost wet my pants & hit my poor little head on the glass case protecting the HOLY CANNOLI! Its true, but it is not one, but 2 types of HOLY CANNOLI...one regular and one smothered in luscious chocolate & pregnant with chocolate chips! The HOLIEST of HOLY CANNOLIs! As I stood there trembling in awe and foaming at the mouth....I heard the voice of that most sacred of food and it said unto me..."Oh mere mortal, thou spawn of bacteria and other worldly filth, how dare you gaze upon me in lust, and not buy me, and devour me immediately"! Since that fateful day, I have always followed the HOLY CANNOLI COMMANDMENT ! ....besides your resident Lactobacteria will love you for it!!! read more

Ok seriously their cheesecake cannolis are addictive! Waiting for the fall to come around already so I can enjoy their chocolate dipped ones . They make their cheesecake with a shortbread crust that is always perfect. Strawberry cheesecake is my go to but haven't been disappointed with the other ones around. This place honestly has AMAZING cheesecakes. The best in the area considering Cheesecake Factory isn't around (don't care for their Cheesecake anyway). You really taste the homemade aspect of it, creamy, fresh, and rich. I love the variety of flavors and sizes, I love the strawberry and raspberry, the Oreo one was great, my least favorite was one of their chocolate bites. BEST THING THERE...their cream cheese cannoli as opposed to the traditional ricotta ones. You can't get those anywhere else and honestly ricotta is not the business! Just so happen to run across this business in Yelp, I had a craving for something sweet. They were closing in fifteen minutes so there wasn't much of a selection. I ordered a 5" (yes they have smaller personal sizes!) classic cheesecake and some assorted cookies and I'll be going back for sure. The cheesecake was not overly sweet or dry but really creamy and pleasant to eat. Cheesecake is my favorite and I'd definitely recommend this place as everything is fresh and made from scratch.
