    Beet Borscht [$8]

Cheese & Bread is a cute place. It's fairly new and Bay Ridge is all the better for it. I stopped in today and picked up some borscht [$8] from the refrigerator. Once I brought it home and heated it up, it was absolutely delicious. It's beet based with pieces of potato. The other offerings in the refrigerator look just as delicious: cakes, cannolis, side dishes, salads. I really want to come back and try the khinkali and the khachupuri.

Top 5 worst spots ever . Purchased 3 items . Everything was expired . I realized one was not good as soon as I purchased it and had it swapped . Didn't realize the soup was SOUR until I had some and it burned my insides for 3 days . Bought a cookie that was hard as a rock . Service was terrible . The lady appeared bothered to tend to me . Then she was speaking to someone in her language about me because they all looked at me as soon as she finished . Ambiance is typical of a shop of its nature . DEFINITELY will not be returning and for sure don't recommend that anybody else does unless you're trying to get sick . Unfortunately I didn't take any pics . Will do better next time :)

Fantastic new restaurant in Sono. All the dishes were incredible, from the lamb to the pork. Highly recommend the Georgian salad and the meat filled dumplings.

I stopped by this place on a rainy evening. The place looks nice. The bakery goods look fresh. Will plan to stop by for coffee in the morning soon. At this time, I was able to grab a pear flavor lemonade which is quite tasty. This place accepts cash, credit and from their menu it looks like they deliver.

This tiny family-run spot serves the most phenomenal khachapuri I've had in New York City.

Like, we-think-you-don't-have-a-day-job kind of late. Noon-ish. On a Tuesday. I don't know who their target demographic is, but it's not anyone with a functioning calendar. When you do manage to show up during their elusive open hours, you're greeted by... well, "greeted" is generous. The staff makes you feel like you interrupted their private cheese cult meeting. Don't expect warm conversation -- unless you're the cheddar. There are free samples, which I respect. If you're feeling broke and brave, you could turn it into a little snack crawl. And the cheese? It's fine. Not bad. Not transcendent. Just... cheese. Maybe you'll find something aged and interesting, or maybe you'll walk out wondering if Trader Joe's would've hit the same for less.
