I got a Vietnamese coffee (cà phê sữa đá), a large pork bánh mì, and a pumpkin cream cheese muffin (sounded kinda good). I hate to say this, but I think this was the worst Vietnamese coffee I've ever had. I didn't think it tasted like Vietnamese coffee at all. The flavor was just not there. Also I'm not sure if it was drip or espresso, but it kinda tasted burnt. Next was the sandwich. I was pretty disappointed with it. Pickled veggies weren't bad. The other veggies were okay. But the meat was just not right. It just didn't taste right. The flavors were off and the meat was kinda dry. The whole sandwich was pretty dry. It didn't come with mayo, but it was definitely needed. The sandwich was better after I added some Kewpie mayo at home, but that meat still wasn't right. The muffin was honestly the best thing I had. It wasn't bad, but it can definitely be improved. It could've used more pumpkin flavor. I enjoyed the bites with cream cheese. It was a good combination overall. I can't say much for service because I used DoorDash, but it seemed pretty quick. Although I can't imagine there being that many people there at 6am. We finally got the opportunity on Sunday morning as we wanted some caffeine and some treats for our fur babies. The menu is concise and simple which is great as often times, too many options can be very overwhelming and hard to read. They have coffee, non-coffee drinks, energy drinks and even bubble tea! Additionally, for food they have banh mis, breakfast sandwiches, Blazing bagels, and other pastries. The barista here was very friendly and professional, she made sure to check that she got our order right and made sure to give our fur babies some treats. I love that they have special treats rather than Milkbones as our fur babies devoured them quickly! Even our picky girl who isn't keen on new treats but she loved it so much! Our drinks were made to perfection too, not too sweet and with four shots definitely helped us stay awake. They also have a reward system where if you order 7 times, you get one free which I think is great as other places make it purchase 9, 10, or even more. We look forward to making them a stop for whenever we are in Lakewood.

I came across Buzz Central and decided to give it a try. Their menu was very basic and simple, with not much variety. The real problem started when the barista didn't know the menu at all. We asked about the "Secret Menu," and the barista simply told us to look at the pictures. They didn't have whipped cream or any of the toppings for the drinks. We asked for a "Strawberry Cold Sip," and she had absolutely no idea what we were talking about. At that point, I was skeptical if the coffee would even be good or made correctly, so I just ordered a flavored Red Bull. Additionally, the menu listed "stuffed bagels," but when we asked for some, the barista said she didn't think they had those and that they just had regular bagels. The lack of customer service and basic product knowledge left me feeling like I would never go back there again.

It is located only a 5-minute drive from the car museum. We got yummy Smashburgers (comes with chips) and fries at Canteen by Camp Colvos. For drinks, we got a couple of sodas at Canteen, a Willie Maize Hazy IPA on tap at the 7 Seas bar, and I tried a refreshing Lavender Patch (16 oz iced sparkling espresso with lavender syrup and yuzu lemonade) at Naomi Joe Coffee. They have some pinball machines, free water at the back, and a party room you can rent. As with most breweries, it is family-friendly. I love the laid-back and friendly atmosphere of this place. They sell cool merch and have a neat display in honor of the historic Heidelberg Brewing Company of Tacoma that dates back to 1912.
