This particular BevMo is well kept up and stocked. The latest visit was to take advantage of the "buy 2 for 1" promotion they were running. All around the store there were products following that deal but seemed to be mostly things that were likely overstocked and needed to be liquidated down, but a few whiskeys were part of the deal as well as 'buzz balls'. The few times I've visited even if not getting anything the staff have been friendly and that continued with this latest visit. Selection, service and promotion aside it's no match for Total Wine in my book which has the same strengths, but better value from what I can tell. Still if BevMo! is likely the better choice than the raggedy liquor store near it or the local grocer unless they too are running a deal.

There are several beers and some ciders on tap from all around and all the ipa's I've tried here have been pretty decent. from there you grab your brew and have a seat at high top tables within the tap room. Music is at a decent volume and is lit dimly making it decent for a date spot or just a place to have conversation without raised voices. Fridges line the tap room so you can mix and match beers, ciders and wines to take out which is cool. I like Bottleworks, I want to enjoy it more, but there are some issues holding me to 3 stars. The staff are...alright. Not bad, but I feel could be a little friendlier. Also they don't allow sample pours? This is a common thing at most breweries, but maybe it's because this is a tap room, but beers run a bit higher here - $8-9 a pour so that's annoying that you can't even try a couple. Lastly, they rotate things out it seems weekly. Some of the more popular options I suppose they keep but seems like a lot of turn around on the drinks so if you like something they have on tap, don't get too attached. Perhaps on subsequent visits It will improve, and I can boost the score here, but besides the decent beers and setting, it's just OK here.

Prices are on the higher side, but I would consider the product selection to be somewhat upscale. Not just mainstream brands. You can find some specialty items sprinkled around the store. The store has a good wine section, with one aisle devoted to it. There is also a deli in the back. They have a selection of prepared deli sandwiches available on weekdays. The quality is decent, but they are a bit pricey. Each portion is the size of a half sandwich. Quality wise, I do prefer the sandwiches at the newly opened Otherside Market nearby, which are made to order. But a sandwich here would do in a pinch if I am looking for a quick bite.
