    Great vibe !!!

I love the ambience!!!! Food was amazing! And the service was up to par! The lack of constant server in my face was a downfall.

This is a beautifully decorated restaurant - cozy yet cave-y. Service is quick and friendly. Had to get the Tyler Reddick special (chicken tenders) being a NASCAR fan and all... the tenders were DELICIOUS. Big ol' strips of white meat chicken, expertly breaded and fried. The fries themselves were great, and the coleslaw was a tangy, refreshing addition to the meal. I got the honey hot - which was, for me, like a sweet and sour sauce. Absolutely delicious and a HUGE portion too! Also their croissants (which, I guess they're famous for?) - amazing. Light, flaky, melt in your mouth... I'd eat a thousand of them if they'd let me!

Country fried chicken, green beans and broccoli cheese casserole. All were top notch.

Haven't been before and was happy to try a new place the restaurant was clean and well maintained. Staff was observant and friendly. That's a huge plus in my department. As we sat down they delivered fresh, warm bread croissants that were drizzled in butter. Delicious. Queso and chips wasn't my favorite but still tasty. I tried the country fried chicken with white gravy. Very good. Homemade green beans tasted like my moms. My kids were all happy with everything. Buffalo chicken wrap is huge and easily a shared dish. I tasted my daughters burger and it was delicious. I'd def go back again.

Great restaurant. Service was a little slow but the food is really good. Love the rolls they bring out first.

I remember eating at Bob Evans in Terre Haute growing up around here. Maybe before the "breakfast spots" became more trendy outside the old guard restaurants like I-Hop, Waffle House, Stucky's and Cracker Barrel, BE had its moment in the sun. The bar is now high out there in the breakfast cosmos on what to expect in this arena of restaurant offering. My memories were better of the quality of food compared to our dinner here recently. My parents and myself all had breakfast options for dinner and they were simply OK. Biscuits a bit doughy, banana bread average, portion size smaller, nothing eventful with our meal. They are no longer selling beer/wine but whittling down their remaining inventory, so the glimmer of enjoyment of our experience came with the two Budweiser beers I had with dinner. The banana nut bread we purchased on the way out to enjoy over a few days continued to be average. The highlight I will remember is the Necco wavers I was able to purchase at the check out counter, which is in line with the nostalgic feel of what Bob Evans is shooting for. The staff was nice and I liked that there was nobody there at 7pm on a Saturday night. But Bob Evans is average at best and I would not choose to return again if given a choice and would go to another breakfast eatery.

It was an interesting addition to the sandwich because it made the sandwich a little more sour. I added a little hot honey to help counter some of the sourness. The Hive bun was very fresh. It had great texture- crunchy edges but spongy middle. The burgers looked good but appeared very small. I was a little surprised by the portion size considering the cost. It was very expensive for such a small burger that did not come with sides & drink. I liked the big plastic cups for water. It had a bunch of advertisements on the cup, but thought it was great sizewise for water. Usually we get a small plastic flimsy cup for water at other restaurants, so it was a nice surprise. The staff was friendly and served our order relatively quickly. Patrons came in waves. The outside is deceiving because the sign isn't flashy and looks relatively small. But, once you walk in, it appears a lot more spacious than from the outside. Plenty of seating for big/small groups.

The restaurant is located amidst the cornfields of Indiana on the owner's family property, which of course, includes a bee farm. The dining room is very quaint and nicely appointed with an Indiana and bee theme. You can get a sneak peek of the desserts on the counter, so you know how much room to leave yourself! There are also a variety of goods for sale, like honey and homemade salad dressings that you know are on demand from customers! We were there on a busy night, but the restaurant didn't feel crowded and we were certainly not rushed at all. The food is all made from scratch from fresh local ingredients and is advertised as "just like your grandma used to make." I didn't have this kind of grandma, but WOW do I wish I did! The menu changes weekly and all entrees come with soup (I got tomato artichoke, which was outstanding) or salad (husband gave it two thumbs up, especially the homemade salad dressing) and fresh made bread with homemade honey butter. We really enjoyed the ordering system where you check off what you would like to order from a very pretty paper menu. We got the pot roast and chicken breasts and ordered different sides (you get to choose two) to try a bit of everything. The food was absolutely delicious across the board and our only problem was my hoarding of the creamy corn, which was the best I have ever eaten. Ever. Dessert was hard to choose, but we went with a slice of lemon eclair and honey graham ice cream, making the tough choice to forego the unbelievable looking s'mores cake on display. Truly a perfect country meal from start to finish. Our server was helpful and as pleasant as the restaurant she works in and suggested we take a walk around the property when we finished our meal. We got to chat with one of the owners who was carving wood out back and stroll down to their little slice of paradise lakefront. We can't wait to go back!
