Came here on Mother's Day so i knew it would be a wait. Was told a 2 hour wait at 1:30pm. Completely understood. Waited until about 3:45 to ask about an update. Was told another 30 min. Waited another 30 min and asked for an update. Now this is where i got irritated. The hostess had the nerve to get an attitude with me and say "we're busy it's another 30 min". Now what now???!! If y'all knew it was a 3 hour wait just tell us that from the jump!! From hearing other angry customers it seems like they're giving people shorter wait times to get them to stay knowing damn well the times are inaccurate. Great food, inexpensive, all American menu. I love the bourbon salmon and bourbon shrimp, it's my go to meal when I'm here. They have tasty burgers too. No complaints ever on the food. Server was attentive. Hostess were accommodating. No wait at lunch today. But I use to waiting 20-30 minutes on a Friday or Saturday evening to eat. Only 4 stars at the bathroom had a sour smell and the overflow of drinks from the bar was sour too. I can only explain it as when someone has a mop that's been used with bad mop water. One of my favorite places to eat in Henry County. I will admit that it can be rather crowded during peak hours, so expect to wait. The food, however, is still as good as it was when I was in college and used to visit Cheddar's in Warner Robins. I do feel that the wait staff can use some constant reinforcement when it comes to customer interactions, and the staff that handles to-go orders can use some work in that area as well. The server was extraordinary and attended to our needs. The food at this location is generally very good. I had salmon with green beans and baked potato. This time it was cold. The baked potato with sour cream was cold and the rice was cold. Can you say food borne illness. I don't like to complain to staff onsite because I don't like redos . Went here today for a late lunch with a group of about 20 people. Service was great minus me not getting any chicken tenders with my chicken tenders and shrimp meal. I didn't notice until I got home and reheated my food. Don't understand why they don't put the drink price on the menu but since it's free refills, drink up! Strawberry lemonade was heavy strawberry so I added lemons. I liked the fries, the shrimp and coleslaw were okay. Food was bland. No one at my table had anything that looked delicious. The service at the table was good. When walking through the resturant the staff made you feel like you were in the way often rushing past you or outright walking into you. The lighting was dark through the place, especially in the restroom, I could not see at all when in there. The food had a good flavor, yet for me, it was rich and set heavy on my stomach. I had the vegitable plate which was served with a huge house salad. The spinach dip was rich and creamy. I personally would not visit again because the atmosphere overwhelmed me due to the fact it was so loud, the second you stood up you were being ran over by staff, and it waa very dark through the place. I visited this Restaurant in December for my moms birthday. It was my first time eating here, but I heard a lot of good things about it. Sadly it didn't live up to the hype, but it wasn't all bad. FOOD: So we ordered drinks and appetizers to start off. The appetizers came quickly and I liked the portion sizes. I got the spinach artichoke dip and my siblings got the onion rings. We had a lot of dip so we had to request a refill on chips which came quickly. For the entree I ordered steak, rice, and potatoes. I usually get my steak medium rare (a little pink in the middle), but when it came it looked like they put it on the grill for 5 minutes and threw it on the plate. Every place does medium rare different, but this was the most rare I've ever seen it. I politely asked for the server to cook it a little longer because I could barely get through it. The rice tasted like a high school lunchroom side. I was not impressed. It brought back memories of the things I didn't like most about school. After being cooked more the steak came back out delicious and the mash potatoes were good also. SERVICE: The service was ok. I remember asking where our drinks are and almost getting full off our appetizers before the main entree came (we ask for a refill on chips because it was taking so long). When our food finally arrived my steak was too rare (which I don't blame them for because I asked for medium rare), but I caught the annoyance in the severs eyes when I asked if I it could please be cooked a little more. I expressed that it was my fault before hand, but that didn't seem to help. It definitely made me feel awkward. Also out table didn't receive regular check ins from our server. I had to flag him down just to get a to-go box. ATMOSPHERE: The restaurant has a nice atmosphere. It reminds me a lot of Red Lobsters. Warm lights and carpeted floors. It can also accommodate large parties. PARKING: This restaurant is situated in a shopping plaza so there is plenty of parking for its patrons! This restaurant is totally unorganized! It supposed to be curbside service yet I waited in the car over 30min before going inside. Once inside it was a zoo! My order wasn't ready because they claimed they were waiting on croissants. It doesn't take 30min for croissants. My order was supposed to be ready at 530pm. It's 6:21 and I'm just not getting my order. I ordered at 4:46pm. The girl that works the to go could care less everyone is complaining. She's nonchalant and showed no empathy to any of the customers that were complaining about problems. What's the point of telling someone what time their food will be ready and it's not actually ready til an hour after that quoted time. I've been to several cheddars but never one that was like this. I was terribly disappointed!! The food wasn't flavorful. It was dry. It was as if it had been sitting in the window for a while. I ordered the key west chicken and shrimp and it was just awful. This is the closest Cheddar's to me as I live in Douglasville. So my mom and godmom decided to meet here for lunch. My mom ordered salmon with Mac and cheese and the broccoli casserole. Her Mac and cheese was dry. My aunt ordered the triple something. You could tell her spinach dip had been sitting in the window because the sour cream had melted all over it and the cheese was stuck to the sides of the pan that it comes in. Pros: I will admit, the food is very tasty, (I love the mac and cheese.) and the employees are very polite. Cons: I know that big parties make big money, but this makes the wait VERY long, especially on Friday nights. And the restaurant used to be very clean, but is getting dirtier and dirtier. A month or 2 ago, I saw a roach under our table! Conclusion: I would recommend this place in terms of food, but not as much in quality. But try it out.
