I didn't care for the food at all. Had the crispy chicken salad. There were three long crispy chicken strips and I didn't care for the taste. I asked for blue cheese dressing. I finally got the chance to go here and really was pleasantly surprised. I thought the service was excellent, she made sure our drinks never went empty. We had a party of six and to honest I was thinking that they were bound to make a mistake or forget something, but they didnt. Not only was the service good, the food came out warm and in a timely fashion all together. I will def have to go a second time to see if this was a fluke, but looking around at other peoples food all i could think of next time im going to have to try that. Last night was my first visit here. The parking lot is always hopping, and the last time I tried coming there was a 45 minute wait (weekend afternoon, my bad), but I'm glad we came back. My sister & I were seated right away. Miracles do exist! And once we were at our respected half-booth, I looked around. The design of the restaurant is very modern, but not stoic. The guests made it comfortable, as we could hear talking from all of the nearby tables. Cheese Bites were recommended by my sis as our appetizer, and oh man, I was heaven after the first bite. I'm telling you, they're constructed like mozzarella cheese sticks & fried chicken had a very delicious love child. We got the same mains--sirloin & shrimp, with Mac n' cheese and broccoli casserole as the sides. Everything came out fresh and hot. My only gripe is that the kitchen didn't let our server know which steak was for whom. There was an awkward minute or two of trying to cut into our steaks to see who they belonged to, but we got it sorted. The steak was nice and tender. It wasn't medium rare like I'd requested, but it was seasoned so wonderfully that I ignored the variance. The shrimp were quite spicy, which was a welcome surprise. And of course the carb-laden sides were absolute comfort food. Both get high marks from me. Also, another note: the strawberry tea was delicious but served very warm. It was probably freshly brewed, which is awesome, but more ice would've been nice. Great flavor, though. I'm looking forward to trying Cheddar's other offerings. First time here. We arrived before 4pm there was a quick fifteen minute wait. I started off with the cheddars painkiller. The glass is rimmed with toasted coconut and filled with a mix of cream de coconut pineapple orange juice with rum. Yum yum We chose an appetizer. The triple. Cheese bites warm and gooey that compliments well with the marinara. Potato skins cheesy with bacon bits. Sour cream side. Chicken fingers yummy Dijon sauce. While waiting for our meals we were Watching other people's meals pass by. Servings are massive. I had the Shrimp and chicken pineapple pico de Gallo. It had a small wang to it. Served with rice and your choice of two sides. My husband got the Dijon chicken and shrooms We heard about these buttery rolls but we didn't get any. Not 100 percent sure we were supposed to. Kara was our server. She was quick and fun. Lauren the manager she stopped by the table to check on us. It was my birthday and she gave me some fresh cookies. We had to take leftovers home. This is a nice addition to Spring Hill. Prices were fair. My husband and I will be back. Update we returned and my husband had corn as a side and it tasted funny. I've eaten at Cheddar's before, just not at this location. This is a great thing for this area and it was much needed. The restaurant was very busy on a Wednesday night with about a 15 minute wait, and this was before 6 pm. We ordered at the triple tease appetizer which comes with potato skins chicken tenders and mozzarella bites. Everything is made fresh and you can tell that by the very generous chunks of chicken tenders that are on the plate. We ordered them buffalo style and we were in heaven. For my dinner I got lemon pepper chicken which was served over rice and I chose green beans and black beans as my side the green beans I was not such a big fan of the everything else was fantastic. My husband ordered a sirloin steak with macaroni and cheese and a side salad. He very much enjoyed the steak and the mac & cheese however the salad did not come until after the entrée had arrived. We took the salad home so that he could enjoy it the next day. I have to mention they put this delicious little croissant roll onto your salad plate which in and of it's self is a true delight. The service was great and you could tell they're still trying to work out the kinks. Upon inquiring what kind of fish was on a particular dish, our server had to ask two different people before she was able to get the answer. This in no way is reflective of my rating because it's a new restaurant and I want to ask questions if she's not sure. I will leave you with the reminder that this is a comfort food restaurant and you will find very little in the way of health food. However the lemon pepper chicken suited my taste just fine as I was looking for lighter fare. The atmosphere is very welcoming and very spacious. The bar area is rivaling that of any in our area and there were people enjoying dinner there just as much as people were enjoying it in the restaurant. Visited during lunch yesterday. Service and food was great. Server was attentive and pleasant. When the check was presented, I noticed that the suggested tip calculations were for 18%, 20%, and 25%. Is this the new norm? I thought the percentages used to be 10%,15%, and 20%. I brought it to the attention of the manager, who blamed it on corporate policy. Being such a new restaurant in one of the busiest roads, I was not surprised to see it pretty packed on a regular Wednesday night. Cheddar's is your typical American chain restaurant. I would say it is comparable to Ruby Tuesday's just down the road. I ordered the Key West chicken and shrimp entree with a side of the cheese broccoli casserole and broccoli. The pineapple pico de gallo sauce was surprisingly a great addition with the dish. It added a sweet kick to the rice and was very tasty. I'm not sure what the brown sauce that came on the side was either but that added even more flavor to the entree. It was thicker in consistency than soy sauce. Whatever it was, I drizzled it all over the entire plate because it tasted that good. The only thing I didn't like about this Cheddars was that it does not have the nachos. Cheddar's nachos are one of my favorites but sadly this location did not offer it. I also feel like the presentation of the dish could have came out a little neater because it looked like my sauce might've fallen over while the waitress was carrying it out. I knew we should have turned and walked away when within the first minute. The restaurant turned away a 10 top, an 8 top and multiple others with their long wait time. When I looked around I could see a large number of tables were almost done. So to say that their wait would have been over an hour, was absurd. That's just my personal experience with working in the restaurant business for many years. Their kitchen manager walks through the front door with a massive amount of Tijuana Flats bags. To me, it looked like they ran out of at least tortilla chips. I cannot believe that they just wouldn't 86 it but get it elsewhere and pass it off as Cheddar's! I know what cheddars tortilla chips look like, and I know what Tijuana's looks like and the 4 top next to me received Tijuana Flats chips. What else did they purchase and pass off as theirs???? Next we ordered 2 bar drinks that took 15-20 minutes to get them. They where made quickly (could see from our table they were made within minutes) but they sat there dying. Ordered an appetizer, the croissants with honey sauce. They were delivered without plates, we asked for plates and we were told they where waiting on them to come out the wash and that she would get us napkins. Never got plates, never got napkins from server. I had to ask for napkins from hostess stand and another server gave me small bar drink napkins. I was finally annoyed with the napkin situation and I asked our server for "large" napkins and she said she would get a couple. They they were only to be given out per customer request due to them having a short supply. I ordered a Philly Cheese Steak with no onions; came out burnt with onions. My sandwich had about 80% mushrooms and 20% (burnt) meat. It was absolutely awful! The Manager was told about the situation but never came over to talk to us. If he would have, I would have explained all the issues to him and not here. He looked at us twice and never approached us. Guess he doesn't understand the importance of his job. My husband ran out of water so we asked for a refill. After we waited for almost 15 minute had to remind her that we needed water. That took almost 15 minutes more! I ordered another bar drink and waited a long time for it. The server came by our table and in surprise asked us where my drink was. I was wondering the same thing. This experience was one I hope to never happen again. Well, it won't happen because we will never be back. read more

I've been here 5 times and love all the menu items I've tried. Excellent trained staff. I did one to go pick up dish and there was a side item missed. When I called the manager he gave me a gift card. Didnt have to. It was over the amount of the item. So kind. Very courteous and also food is made homemade and the drinks are awesome. This review is during the coronona virus pandemic. This review is also from a vegan with severe allergies to dairy. This staff was nice and attentive. The menu has changed so that is has no vegan options. Even the vegatables are brushed with butter and chicken stock. The menu has been trimmed so they can survive the pandemic and I commend them. I was onsite for work and stopped in trying to find something to eat. There wasn't any, so mycoworkers ate. The waitress appologized for my experience, which can't be helped during these times. This is the only restaurant I knew in brooksville that had vegan accomodations which are now gone. I got a jalopeno margarita while myco-workers ate that was pretty good. read more
