My raspberry lemonade 10/10. The Cesar salad was a lot of dressing but tasty. Salmon and shrimp was good lil more seasoning would've been nice. The red beans and rice 10/10. My friend enjoyed her fries and steak cooked the way she wanted. Service was good server was new but nice. Place was cool. Oh ya croissants 10/10 but not complimentary i had a 1.99 charge for them.

I always wanted to try Cheddars since I was in college in VA. But I never lived close to one. I am so happy I finally got to try it out. The ambiance was nice. It was clean and pretty quiet for a Saturday. The decor wasn't too fancy but it was nice. The service was good. The hostess was very friendly and showed us to our table. Our waitress was very nice, and attentive. The food was decent. I ordered the chicken tenders and fries which were very tender and flavorful. My friend ordered the fish platter with mashed potatoes and vegetables. The fish was very light and filling. The mashed potatoes were decent but needed more flavor and the broccoli was cooked to perfection. Overall, it was a good experience. I will probably be back and try some other items on the menu. If you are in the area check it out! Cheers!

We've dined here a few times while running errands in Waldorf. The day and time of your visit plays a part in how busy it'll be. Pros: Nostalgic and has something for everyone Respectable price point Has happy hour drink options Servers have positive attitudes and good energy Cons: Could use some improvement in cleanliness of tables, cutlery and seating Can get crowded, loud and hectic Overall, I would dine here again. The honey butter croissants are my favorite and you receive them complimentary at the start of your meal. On the latest visit, our server forgot but when asked, she boxed a fresh order up to go. I appreciate her for acknowledging the oversight and immediately making it right. The non-alcoholic drinks have add in options but I've found the syrup to be overpowering and optional. Portion sizes are appropriate for the price point and I've been happy with my choices thus far. Sign up for their emails if you want to receive notices of any promotions they have as well as a birthday freebie. Subject to change so read the offer carefully. There is booth seating, a bar and they do have alcohol based drinks. This is a good spot if you want to grab and go, have a date night, group gathering and solo dining. No automatic gratuity is added but the young adults do a great job and tipping appropriately is encouraged. I'd dine here again and I look forward to exploring more of their menu.

Nothing NEW to report. Just another round of our favorite comfort food entrees from one of our old staple neighborhood restaurants. Always want to give credit, where credit is due. Thanks hubby for your support on this chilly afternoon: Monday, March 30, 2026.

However, for a Saturday lunch and as always, it's very delicious. The prices are always just right and you get a great selection for the price. It is a chain restaurant so the ambience is not much but we can at least watch the game in the bar area while you eat. Our server was really nice and the white fish that I had was blackened to perfection with the right amount of lemon pepper.

My boyfriend and I were looking for a new restaurant to check out other than our usuals. He recommended Cheddar's and I was eager to try somewhere new. We had looked over their menu beforehand, and were impressed by the options and price points. The menu was similar to a Friday's or a Chilli's. We got there on a Friday night, and despite the parking lot being full, we were seated right away. I did notice that quite a bit of tables had yet to be cleared off, but that was probably the only drawback I'd have for them. Other than that, our server was great. She was personable and kind. She offered us recommendations and checked in frequently. We started with the complimentary croissants and those were so delicious and just what I needed because I had barely eaten all day, so needed something to munch on. They were sweet and buttery. I honestly could have been good off of those. For dinner, I had the pain killer as my drink and that is definitely strong, so one of those will suffice. I did the combo with ribs, grilled shrimp, and two sides. I had the sweet carrots and the broccoli cheese casserole. I thought the broccoli cheese casserole was ok. I know my waitress said it's pretty popular, but I guess because I already had rice on the plate, I really didn't need to get another side with rice. The ribs were a generous size and the BBQ sauce was just right. My boyfriend got the white fish with sweet corn, and he thoroughly enjoyed the meal. For the price point and meal, we both agreed that we would come back.

Cheddars has effectively carved out their niche in the Brandywine neighborhood. They've been going strong 10+ years and I know why! There's a relaxed atmosphere & you get to chop it up with familiar faces. That plus heavy pours, bar food, homestyle meals, & handmade desserts at a GREAT VALUE are part of their recipe for success. Before 2020, I used to visit with my coworkers during lunchtime. One of the guys in our crew always ordered chicken tenders & fried shrimp. They deliver a perfect crunch every time. I typically order the bourbon salmon with sides. I also order the salmon family bundles when there's no time to cook for guests. Service is a little slow when the restaurant is crowded except if you're sitting at the bar.

I stopped by for a quick bite to eat for lunch. Left out with no complaints. The place is definitely cleaned. The service is good and the food is fair. I ordered a simple chicken tenders and fries, can't go wrong with that. I had no complaints.

I ordered the salmon dinner online, which included greens, potato salad, and a muffin. The meal cost $35. When I got home and began eating, I immediately realized the salmon was spoiled and inedible. I called the restaurant to report the issue and request a refund. Instead of allowing me to speak with a manager, I was told to contact Toast because I had placed my order online. Unfortunately, Toast does not provide customer service for this type of issue and directed me back to Carolina Kitchen. I was given the runaround, and neither the restaurant nor Toast accepted responsibility. What disappointed me most was the complete lack of concern for a customer who was served spoiled food. I was simply told there was nothing they could do, despite the fact that I paid $35 for a meal I could not eat. Serving spoiled food is unacceptable, and so is refusing to resolve a legitimate customer complaint. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Carolina Kitchen. Save your money and spend it at a business that values its customers and stands behind the quality of its food.

It's an honor to support her business! All of the vegetables tasted like they were farm-fresh--nothing was frozen! The green beans were expertly cooked with fresh tomatoes, mushrooms, and onions. The best green beans ever! I would love to get these again! The mashed potatoes were so creamy and the yams were nice and sweet, but not too, too sweet. They were perfectly balanced and had the best texture! The meatloaf was made with all of the love in the world! Now, since it has lamb, the flavor is very, very prominent. I'm not really a big meat person but this was a cool touch, and I'll try anything once! If you're a huge fan of lamb, I recommend it. I loved how there was gravy at the bottom and the traditional tomato based topping on top! I shared with my brother when he came to visit, he tore it all up! Lol. I would definitely order from Auntie's again. I saw that a friend follows the chef on social media and she absolutely loves Auntie's, too! Another younger maître d' stepped in and finally took my name on the waitlist vs the first one didn't even ask if I would put my name down. My husband and I both ordered a whiting po' boy sandwich and it was perfect. Great price for the size sandwhich it is! I have no complaints with the amount of fish on that sandwhich Fresh lettuce, tomatoes... fish was perfectly fried hard as requested. Good batter! Flour based. Because that matters. The bread was the perfect compliment as it was soft and the perfect size for this sandwhich! The customer service was good and a pleasant change. The young ladies were welcoming, helpful, and professional! It's a very welcoming environment. I will definetly go back and try some more whiting.

Yo girl been trying to eat a little healthier and was looking for some baked or grill fish. This restaurant did deliver. The grill tilapia and broccoli was pretty good. The portion size was on point. My son wanted their crab cake burger which I had to taste and it was delicious. They offer mumbo sauce with their fries and it is banging. Got a nice little kick to it. The corn on the cob is so so. Its not bad but I just had better. Its too greasy for corn on the cob too. So confused about that. Any who, I spent $40 for everything which was reasonable for 2 meals. I will definitely be back to try other menu items. The cashiers here are super friendly which is always appreciated because its seems like people are losing basic manners. So thanks ladies for your kindness it didnt go unnoticed. Would I recommend this restaurant, yeah I would. Its not spectacular but its pretty good and you get enough food for the price. That itself is worth it. So go and visit so we can keep restaurants like this open in our community.

We requested a seat outside for the lovely weather. The patio is beautiful. Unfortunately, it did start raining so we moved inside, equally attractive. Our server was exceptional. I wish I could remember his name, but I brought my baby with me and when he was throwing a fit, my server handled the situation with such calm and understanding. Because of my beautiful little fit-thrower, I did leave early however I was still able to get a little nibble of my food before we took it to go. For my drink, I ordered the "Waaaay South" cocktail. Let's just say it had me waaaay tipsy (positive). For starters, I had the fried green tomato salad, crab cake, and Jamie's cornbread. Everything was good, but I have to highlight the Jamie's cornbread. It was so moist and melt in your mouth, honey. For my entrée, I had shrimp and grits and it was okay. I enjoyed my short visit to Succotash and I will return when I'm in town.

At first, I wasn't sure it was going to be enough food for two people, but I was definitely wrong! They started us off with four fried wings and the fried green tomato salad. The wings were really good, and the dressing on the salad was delicious. The fried green tomatoes were so good, I could have eaten the whole plate by myself! Then the Mac and cheese came out, followed by the catfish and chicken and waffles. By the time everything hit the table, we were stuffed! We did order an additional order of wings because they were so good. Everything else was good as well, and the presentation of the food was really nice. Everything came out looking appetizing and well put together. Our server, Niecy, was very nice and attentive. She made sure we were taken care of throughout the meal. I also want to mention that everyone working in the restaurant was friendly, which really added to the overall experience. I only have two suggestions: * The bathrooms need better lighting. I felt like I was using the bathroom in the dark! * I think they should give you more than four wings for two people with the family-style meal, especially since the wings were so good. Overall, we had a really good experience. The food was good, the portions were filling, the presentation was great, and the staff was friendly. I would definitely go back! I'm glad we decided to give this place a try because it really is a hidden gem.

Everything was excellent. We came on a Thursday night that featured lively jazz band - they played great music that wasn't loud and overpowering like at other local spots. The service was excellent from the check-in (we didn't have reservations), to the hostess, to the server. It was excellent. Our server was friendly, she was helpful, she was thorough. She kept checking on us to make sure we were OK. Our food came out quickly, hot, fresh and delicious. We had the pork chop dinner and the shrimp/fish dinner, along with peach cobbler. What a welcome change! Apparently the three years has done this establishment good. Bravo!
