The bracket is loose and seems improperly shaped - I don't know how it ever could have worked. I especially appreciated mentioning filing a permit with the city- I hadn't even thought about that and not everyone who came to bid mentioned it! There is a good vibe with this company representative and my husband even agreed in his 1 minute passing. Definitely worth including them for your consideration. Don't want surprises and love a well thought out & important improvement location consideration. I didn't get a copy of the bid and have been stuck in an AI auto answer scenario. Can't get a human. Frustrated as this was who we preferred. So many companies are using AI - in answering questions and booking-without catching the ways it frustrates their customers will be the demise of some project bids. (2nd time for me with a company AI sending me in circles).

Many sincere thanks to Mike Anderson and Caden Hutman. The project manager Virginia was wonderful to work with as always and very easy to contact when needed. I couldn't be more pleased.

I called Garreth at Yorkshire Plumbing to assess my 'orangeberg' sewer pipe (a material used during…read moreWW2 when metal was scarce). My drains had slowly been backing up and now I could hardly take a shower without my toilet bubbling. I appreciate that he took his time assessing my sewer line and answering my questions until I was fully convinced that replacement was the answer. We made a plan where my nephew and I would dig the trench and he would do the replacement. While digging we ran into a rusty corroded water line and a 'homeowner's DIY special' main waterline of pvc less than 12" under my lawn. I was unsure what I was seeing and how to handle it. Garreth being a local, was able to drop by and offer advice re my findings. In the end, he replaced my sewer and main water line and I also asked for a new shut off valve at the house as it had never worked (1946 house). I cannot wait to upload the pictures of my collapsed sewer line, along much of the span! Garreth has an attitude of service. No pressure, no selling--just solving your issue. His employee is also super professional and has a great attitude. I have since recommended him to several people when they've asked, 'Do you know a good plumber'?

Highly recommend! Fair pricing, and solid work. Never met…read morethe man before today, and he is our new go to for plumbing related probs! I just saw his "this is my work" post on Nextdoor, and gave him a call! Remon clearly explained what he was going to do to fix our drain blockages, provided a fair price, had the tools to do it, and explained the outcome. IF you are looking for a straight talking, no upselling hard working type plumber, who does what they say, and says what they do, Remon is your new plumber. Lots of folks ready to charge and arm and a leg, and take advantage of short term need to inflate the costs, sometimes post facto, not Remon! Even when the actual work was more involved, took more time, he stuck by his number. WE had a stopped drain in our garage laundry area, the laundry tub would not drain, and the washing machine thus could not operate, so this was no small thing to get sorted! It had been a SLOW drain for years, we have lived here 12 years, and it finally said "enough", and could not drain fast enough to let the washing machine run a full cycle! I live in a house built in 1960, with various mods made to drains since by characters of unknown pedigree using methods lost to the dustbin of history, and get to live in this over 65 year old rather random house. Remon was able to get thru blockage, tub is draining faster than I have ever seen and even with that he said it might last a year, the clearance he could achieve was not large, and the union to the sewer line we heavily corroded and would need replacement in the next few years, but he hoped it would last longer, fingers crossed. So I am repaired, educated, and have some clarity on what will be necessary down the road, all for a super fair price. And THEN he fixed our bath tub drain, removed an inappropriate drain part, told us what was necessary for it to be set up correctly, and left on his plumber wings.
