This is my go-to pizza dive if I am looking for a tasty pizza at a reasonable cost. I have had about 3 different pizzas from them, A hawaiian style, Their "sylvia's meat pie" with all their meats and a hot cherry pepper, and a pizza called the "all nite diner" which consisted of french fries, hamburger, bacon, pickles, cheddar, and a ketchup and mustard sauce. Each one was cooked perfectly on a fresh-tossed dough, no gumline and delightfully crispy. Each pie was delivered in a reasonable timeframe, on average taking about an hour overall to get a pie from them. The price is nice as wel, only set me back about $16-20 for their medium which is a 16" pie with free delivery. The restaurant is not great for the front end, there are a few booths and most of the rest of the space is taken up by their spare drinks and such. Since I mostly do delivery though, that doesn't bother me too much. Staff is friendly and down to earth, but can be a bit uncouth if you are sensitive to those types. I also enjoy the fact I can order a pie from them through yelp. Sometimes I don't have cash and don't feel comfortable reading a CC over the phone. Overall, I recommend this place if you are looking for a good pie at a good price. The front end definitely makes this place a "to-go" location but if you can look past the front you can find an awesome little pizza joint to try. read more

First off I'd just like to say that this spot has been great since I've been coming here as a kid. Always good pizza and really no complaints. I would give this place no stars if I could. We had almost an hour and a half wait. The grinders received were disgusting. We couldn't distinguish who had the chicken cutlet and who had tuna. I don't know how this has so many good reviews but on my weeklong trip around the northeast this was the worst part of my trip. It took over 2 hours for delivery. And the site said they delivered it well before they actually did, I actually was on the phone with DoorDash to tell them I never received an order at all and they refunded me. Probably the best crust we've had in Manchester/Hartford area. The specialty pizza combos were just ok though. We got the broccoli tomato pizza (pizza special on the menu) which was very good. I like that it had ricotta to break up the heavier mozzarella cheese a bit. They are quite heavy handed with the mozzarella cheese! I think it could've used another element of flavor like more garlic...but I almost always think more garlic is needed on any white pizza. Unfortunately the second pizza we got was not a red pizza so I didn't get to try their sauce. We tried the bbq chicken pizza which was loaded with cheese, and a good balance of chicken. However no red onions as the online menu promises. When we got a hard copy at the restaurant the bbq chicken pizza wasn't on the menu, so maybe they don't make it too often. In any event, it tasted a bit boring to me. Thankfully we had some extra red onion at home that we sauteed and chopped up some cilantro which rounded out the flavors. Decent price and nice people. Definitely would try again, but different combo specials. Can anticipate increasing my stars with the next visit and the right combo...or maybe just cheese next time! read more

I'm pretty surprised this spot has such good reviews. Got the 40 piece wings for myself and some friends and it felt like they had been prepped by someone who had never made wings. The outside of some of them were hard to palette. They were tough and super overcooked. Like an ashy jerky. Not quite sure what happened there. I will say the grinder that one of us got was totally fine and seemed like standard fare you'd get at a deli. Perhaps wings just aren't their specialty. The onion rings were also pretty sad. The fried exterior was clearly wet and soggy with oil. Overall it might be worth trying this spot if you're getting Pizza but I can't speak on that because I haven't tried their pizza and the grinder we ordered was pretty good but stay away from the fried foods. read more

So I called and told them my pizza was wrong the guy told me I was wrong and he only rung up the pizza he gave me so that's what I get. I was visiting my boyfriend who lives in the area (I'm from RI) in Christmas and we didn't find many places that were open. We came across checkers and because we were starving and not many places were open. We called and orders a Hawaiian pizza, they were not doing delivery only pick up which was fine with us. When I went in to pick it up the place was kind of small but I am assuming that they do not do much table service and have mostly pick up and delivery orders. The chef and another worker were both very nice (especially since the place was open until 1am). They had such great customer service skills ! The pizza itself was delicious ! Probably the best local pizza joint in the Manchester/East Hartford area. The options for pizzas are awesome, the food is always on point, and the people working there are easy going. I am in no way vegan, BUT their vegan pizza is killer - I will drive out of my way and then some just to get one! And they have an all night diner pizza that has my heart, and may even give me a heart attack but it's worth it haha! The only down side is that sometimes this place can be a little bit slow, or take over an hour to get delivered. You know what, this was some tasty delivery. I ordered the 16" veggie pizza, which arrived with more veggies than advertised, such as fresh tomatoes, and it was wonderful. This is a pizza sized for a party, and for right under $20 you really can't go wrong. I really wish I could recommend this place. The crust has the potential to be really good, and the sauce is decent. The first time I ordered (4 or 5 months ago) the toppings were just plunked in the middle of the pie resulting in 2 to 3 inches of no toppings around the edge of the pie, and a soggy center crust. Decided to give them another shot. We decided on the Spinach Rigot. When I ordered, I specifically asked them to make sure the toppings were spread out to cover the pie ! I also asked if they used hot or sweet sausage, as my GF can't handle spicy sausage, and was told it was hot sausage, so I asked if they could substitute meatball. They told me "no problem".. Half hour for pick up. Pizza was boxed and ready when I got there 30 minutes later. I live 5 to 6 minutes away... The pie was cold when I arrived home. Upon opening the box, we saw a slightly offset clump of toppings, not spread out at all...(I wish I had taken pictures, but hungry,...) the slices were not cut through, so trying to lift out slices ended up tearing the crust at the edge of the pile. After cutting through, they were still falling apart as under the pile of toppings, the crust was just shy of RAW ! The sheet of paper they put under the pie was hopelessly stuck to and fused to the "crust", so we picked it apart and put it into a frying pan on a low heat, our usual method of crimping up and/or reheating pizza, and managed to eat it with a fork. The crust around the edges, as I said earlier, has the potential to be really good. The sauce seems decent. The rest was a disaster. To add insult to injury, the substitution of meatball for hot sausage was an additional charge. No "no substitutions" on the menu, and no mention of a full extra topping charge for subbing one meat for another. I don't know if I might try a single topping or plain cheese to see if the crust is as good as I had thought it could be, but as of right now, that doesn't look too likely... read more

Horrible service. It is really hit or miss with these guys in my experience. First time I ordered I ordered at 7pm and didn't get my food until midnight. I gave them a second chance because they are a 2 minute ride from my house. Food is normally good. How ever a few days ago I ordered meatballs for dinner. They got here with a slice of pizza I did not want. Said they were out of meatballs. They could have called and told me a head of time and let me change my order but they chose not to. They said they would give me a free pizza to make up for it. Tonight I ordered my free pizza along with almost 30 dollars of food I paid for. Ordered at 7:25pm got it at 9pm. The pizza was burnt and didn't taste good. So called them and they said they would replace it. Here it is 2 hours later and no pizza. They just told me another half hour. They are clearly unorganized or understaffed in my opinion. I will not be returning. I have no problem waiting 15 to 30mins extra for food, they may be very busy or under staffed but 4 hours is unacceptable. Prices keep going up but service is taking a dive. read more

Hanging out with my boys, playing video games and of course we were craving wings. Being late there was few choices to order from so we decided try this one. Ordered 48 wings, 3 different sauce: Jerk, hot & honey mustard. The delivery took about 40 mins but I guess they were busy. The wing were great, just meat and sauce. I don't like the ones that are battered first. My favorite was the Jerk, done in wet sauce and tasted as Jerk should. The hot was buffalo style but not too hot so will have ho u notch for next time. The boys devoured the wings. The only thing I would ask for is the carrot sticks and celery. It didn't come with any.
