My wife simply substituted ham for bacon, which are of equal value, so there should have been no charge at all. The food itself was good, but these kinds of ridiculous and misleading charges completely ruin the experience. We won't be back.

So I go back in, I ask her "are you SURE this is the right one?" And she yelled at me to look, I said I can't, it's sealed. I finally end up walking away while she continued yelling at me until the door shut behind me. I have never tasted the pizza, but it smelled horrible.

Another great night! Tonight I went out of my comfort zone and ordered an extra large house special pizza and for my 2 daughters tenders and fries, as expected i was told the wait was going to be a little longer than usual and I was completely fine with it, we were hungry! So as we waited about 45 minutes went by and I called just to check and a girl answered the phone explaining how busy it was but it was the next one out so we parted and I continued to wait, it came within 15 minutes after the phone call warm and good and even gave us a 15% off coupon for the wait...I can't ask for better service, the cook who answered was so helpful and the lady who took the order as well. From someone who has lived in NY before moving to CT I am very particular to my pizza. I have received delivery from this place many times, but tonight i took the time to sit outside and wait for my food while I had a slice of pizza. Their pizza is thin crust with the right amount of sauce and cheese and it is INCREDIBLE! The service is amazing and you can tell the staff genuinely cares about their restaurant. I absolutely suggest this place! I came here i the VERY early morning around 2AM. Let me tell you the genuine and immaculate service continues through the wee hours of the night. This place is pretty new, but it's already made a pretty good impression with me. The pizza is good, but it's not what earned the five stars I'm giving Checkers. The staff's really what makes the place. I've only made two visits, but both times the staff was kind, patient, and most importantly, hilarious and entertaining. They had some Sinatra playing (like any good pizza place should), and the whole place seemed pretty clean. As far as the food goes, the pizza was a little bit on the greasy side but I'd still consider it slightly above average compared to other local places. Definitely going to keep stopping by whenever I'm in the area. Also, the prices were pretty fair. read more

The manager/boss here is really not a nice guy at all Sandy's the goat and the best server to ever live that's all I know, yeah but the boss isn't a good guy, sandy and all the workers give excellent service they are great.
