The party was already seated when this reviewer arrived, and it was her suggestion to move outside -- not something the rest of her group seemed on board with, likely because it was a warm sunny day. The server calmly explained that the outdoor tables are large heavy picnic tables that can't be easily moved -- a completely reasonable thing to let a customer know. It's a small place and my husband and I never once heard any mention of a surcharge or gratuity. What we did witness was a loud scene that was clearly uncomfortable for everyone in the restaurant, including members of her own party -- one of whom stayed behind, finished his beer, and looked genuinely embarrassed by the whole thing. She mentions being a business owner in her review -- she should know there's always a more gracious way to handle a situation you're unhappy with, especially in a public setting. This place, its staff, and the other patrons didn't deserve her meltdown. This is a solid pizza place in our little town, give it a try.

Sauce is not overbearing the taste of the seasoning used in the crust. Cooked perfectly and even when you take it home for leftovers, it tastes almost just as good. Eat in or take it to go. Turns out it was already done quite some time ago before my pick up time fitting on top a bunch of other pizzas getting cold not only that the pizza that I ordered the way I ordered it was completely wrong. There are tons of food trucks there that you can get your fill. Or a pizza spot and Mochi Ice treats. (including for your pups!) I'd never been to downtown Troutdale, but I'll definitely be back. Like I say before the food cart seem to be the same price as restaurants. So this place will serve no food, but you can get food from the surrounding area and bring it into the establishment. Personally, I'm on a sour kick and they didn't have any sours available so that was a bit of a bummer but we did try two of their seasonal beers and while both were good would've personally picked them a bit different just based on the draft menu. You order at the bar, grab your drink drinks and carry them off to your seat and enjoy it with whatever food you might've purchased from the surrounding areas. It's a beautiful place and I remember it being built and it's absolutely amazing but with my personal taste preference is not my first go to.
