Recently, he tried to do the same at the Manteca branch, where he's currently working nearby, and was treated with complete disrespect by the branch manager, CHARLENE SEVILLA. She questioned him about what he does for a living, demanded to see contracts to prove the type of business he runs, and was incredibly rude and dismissive throughout the interaction. This was not only unprofessional but felt completely discriminatory, especially since this has NEVER been an issue at other branches. It's frustrating and upsetting to see someone who's always handled his business legitimately get treated like a criminal just because he walked into a different branch. We expect consistency, respect, and professionalism--none of which were present at this location. The most frustrating part? After being denied in Manteca, my father had to drive 30 minutes to the Modesto branch, where the same check was cashed without any issue. We will be filing a formal complaint with the credit union directly, but I wanted to make others aware of how poorly managed and disrespectful this location can be.
