I just wanted to take the time and write a review for my grandmother who is very pleased with the service she has been receiving at check city on Silverado ranch. She has had bad experiences with a couple of places because they didn't understand her well because she speaks more Spanish than English but she has told me that at this check city there is a very nice girl who not only is she very pretty she is also BILINGUAL Which is a huge plus for us. Lucy, has been so much help to my grandma. She helps her and is very good at explaining and answering any questions we have and she is very nice and polite I wish there would be more people like her. Thanks to her we found our favorite check city. I recommend people to come to this one if you guys speak Spanish and need loans or WesternUnion. read more

)))))UPDATE((((( 02/03/2020 I took Micahs advice and came in a few days later to file my taxes and was helped by Tiffany who went above and beyond in providing excellent customer service as well! Also I can not forget about Jessica who helped me with my taxes, even though the outcome I'd hoped for didn't prevail, but Jessica did! She was very informative and helpful in understanding my taxes being that I'm newly self employed. In closing, you absolutely can not GO WRONG giving Check City on Silverado a shot for times in need! These ladies are PROFESSIONAL, honest, diligent and thorough in helping out their customers. They have a forever customer in me that's for sure!!! read more

I don't normally do review but I just wanted to say that on Friday I went in to load my Netspend card and I was helped by the person who sold it to me in the first place. Man, Lucy is so amazing! She's one of the happiest girls I've met . She always has a smile in her face and she's cheerful always greeting everyone. I told her I wasn't going to do my taxes with check city because I have my person but she made sure to talk about all the benefits and made sure I took my flyer haha I'm really considering switching my person and coming to check city and bringing some people to earn that extra cash she told me about. Lol I love this check city. Thank you Lucy! read more

This is my favorite Check City! Everyone, I mean Everyone, Is amazing here. The staff are always friendly and helpful. If you are a creature of habit, they will remember you and actually know your name walking in the door. I appreciate them all very much. I sometimes get anxious in places. They are very patient with human sensitivities. Of all the staff though, Andrew is my favorite! I LOVE seeing his smiling face and he has always helped me get my things done with ease. I usually come in there with multiple transactions. He can do it ALL! Keep Manifesting Blessings Andrew, Ms. Dana Marie read more

Came in today and was super happy it was open for one and then these ladies Micah and Michelle I believe we're their names greeted me so friendly and I originally just wanted to cash my check but got interested in getting a net spend card so Micah helped me out super quick to do everything within like 10 minutes I swear. She was also super sweet to talk to and I appreciate that when the person behind the desk can have a good conversation and not be boring where all I hear is keys typing. Definitely just sticking to this location from now on! read more

Shannise provided the best customer service I have had in a very long time. I had gotten used to rude and unprofessional behavior since the pandemic and was so surprised yesterday at Check City on Silverado and Maryland. She was smiling, professional and took the time to explain everything about to process to me. I recommend this location to anyone looking to get a loan. Denise was also very helpful, they are a great pair, Shannise and Denise, Thank you!! read more

I just want to start off by saying miss Virginia was such an amazing help! She was very friendly, funny, and professional. I was skeptical on going to this branch because I was new to this area. She showed me that she knew her job very well and made me feel welcomed. I highly recommend asking to get help from Virginia. She will show you excellent service I'm almost sure of it. Keep of the great work! I will be a frequent customer from here on out. read more

I have been a Check City customer for over 15 years and a NetSpend card holder. I have had a lot of excellent tellers but Kat at the Silverado Ranch #100 branch is always very personable and greets me with a wonderful smile. The Silverado Ranch location continues to provide outstanding customer service by being friendly and genuinely caring how your day is going. I moved to this location specifically for the big burly guy and the hours. However, the rest of the employees embody the same care and effort at this location. Thank you for making the loan process effortless and clearly providing relevant information. read more

I received a Christmas check from one of my relatives in CA, but don't have a bank account to cash it, so I went to CC because I needed the cash fast. They only charged me $20 to cash a $400 cashier's check, and I was in/out in less than 15 minutes. VERY friendly and courteous staff! I would recommend them if you are in quick need of cashing a check. No hassles! read more
