Not sure if I would hire them again. The movers wanted to charge us extra by saying that they need to double the time that they drove from place A to place B- when the law actually says that if your drive is less than or equal to 10 miles, then that should not be done- not sure if they thought we were idiots or what, but they were definitely trying to be very sneaky, which is illegal! Oh and also.. it took the movers 4 hours (!!) from place A (which had an elevator) but took them 2.5 hours in place B (with no elevator,and 3 flights of stairs) because I had my husband stay downstairs with them to make sure that they weren't slacking off. All and all, I would not hire these movers again, and I would not recommend them obviously. read more

Hi there. I used Cheap Movers Glendale this past weekend. I would highly recommend them. Sashi and Arsi were the employees who moved my belongings. However, I would note two things. 1) they do not use professional safety equipment for the movers. Personally, I would hope the company cares enough about their employees to ensure they use support belts etc.; 2) they offer $20 to write review and they want you to do it on the spot. I was going to write a good review regardless, and declined the money to write a review on the spot. I do not like being pressured into giving a review and frankly think companies that offer incentives for reviews are not as honest as companies who leave it to the consumer. I always am suspect of reviewers who are given an incentive to write a review. read more

These guys worked hard for two long days. They did all the packing as well. Nothing broken, nothing lost. Pricing was transparent also.

Cheap Movers Glendale were great. The booking process was fast and they sent a confirmation email directly after booking. They were very clear about all charges and fees and a discount based on cash payment. (They do offer extra packing services for fragile items for a fee - if you have glass large glass item or fragile items and are traveling for a bit you may want to ask.) FYI - there is an online electronic signature at the bottom of the email to confirm the move online. Our movers were Sasha, Juan and Nikitos. Sasha called 1/2 hour before the move to confirm their arrival. They came on-time and ready to work. After a quick tour of the house and signing the agreement forms, they began packing our two bedroom house. It must have taken them about 45 minutes to clear the whole house which included a bedroom set, cat trees, computer room equipment, a living room and dining room sets, and a refrigerator. Fast and efficient. All the workers were polite and helpful. They asked me to double check to see if there were any additional items before they left. Our new house has a very steep narrow upstairs they must have had to go up it a thousand times to place items upstairs. Sasha, Juan and Nikitos were such hard workers. I was pretty amazed at how quickly everything arrived. By the end of the move, they had everything in place exactly three hours from when they started. Great!
