    (Improperly sealed) Thai Milk Tea
    Isa ..

I came in today at around 2:30 pm and didn't leave until 3:20. For starters, it's unfortunate that someone called in sick last minute. It is even more unfortunate that the other employee on shift was left to work by themselves. There was one guy working and he could not take orders because he was alone. There were around 11 people at the time I was there, only the kiosks could be used. It was infuriating sitting there watching this young man struggle. I would rather the store be closed temporarily while another employee arrived to help, than to see someone so visibly very stressed and flustered. I feel bad for him. The drinks * 1 16 oz Assam mt w/ half ice + boba + crystal boba: It was okay. Watery. Nothing really satisfying. * 1 16 oz Thai tea w/ half ice + boba + coconut jelly: The coconut jelly was missing so I informed the employee. The cup was opened and the coconut jelly was added, and cup was attempted to be resealed. I actually have worked at a boba shop before, and you cannot reseal a cup, and you need the pour the drink into a new unused cup and seal that new cup. The result was very messy, but I do not blame the employee given his current overstimulating situation. The thai tea itself had an odd taste but i couldn't tell what exactly was wrong with it. * 1 16 oz Thai tea w/ boba + lychee jelly. I placed this order a bit after the first order. I was in a bit in a rush to leave at this point and didn't notice there was no lychee jelly added. Also, the thai tea looks lumpy?? It's like they use a powder thai tea mix instead of the standard actual brewed thai tea with half and half. I realize now why the Thai tea tasted so off. The prices: For the smallest size possible with 2 toppings I paid around $8 for each drink. I'm not happy with my purchase. It's honestly overpriced for something lacking in quality. I'm really unhappy. I spent nearly $30 for unfortunately mediocre tea. IF this is not a one-time issue and actually is common with this shop, I would kindly recommend that management pushes back the grand opening date and does some serious reflection on how they treat their employees and how to properly prepare them for a busy environment, as well as the quality of their products.

I had called before heading out to make sure they were still doing it, and they said that they were. By the time we got there, they said that they were not doing it anymore, and they ran out of all the supplies. I even told them that I had called before leaving my house and they said that they just ran out. I would have appreciated if they would have checked how much supplies they had before telling people to come up for the smoothies. My family and I drove up there. Multiple people came in after us looking for the free item and turned around and walked away when they did not get it. However, we thought we already drove up there, so we decided to support them. I'm not trying to give a bad review because I did not receive a free smoothie. We bought smoothies for the family so the trip wasn't wasted. My son is a huge mango lover, and that's the one he got and he did not like it at all, although I did not think it was bad. It wasn't sweet and didn't taste like mango. But I digress. One of my daughters got the matcha and we literally all tried it and had to throw it away because no one in our family liked it. I got the spirulina one and I liked the color, but it's not something I would particularly go out and get. Overall, I feel like I'm being very relaxed with my review because it ended up being a nice little family outing. But the final straw for us was the bathrooms. The bathroom was not clean and I had to clean the toilet before allowing my child to use it. We saw a man and woman bringing in supplies while we were there, but it got late and we had to go. I'm not sure if they would have even honored making the free drinks at that point anyways, but at this point everyone in our family tried them and did not like it. Free drinks are not why I am disappointed, but more so that that the bathroom was not clean and it smelled weird in there and no one liked their smoothie in our family. I hope they can make it nicer and not close down because it looks like it's a nice establishment in Vintage Park, but they just have to work on cleanliness and having actually good drinks.

The website is nice and the flavor options are fun, but the flavors and textures never hit quite right for me. My most recent pick-up experience was especially disappointing. I placed an order on the website over 30 minutes ahead of my arrival so that I could pick up a smoothie and make it to work on time. I set the pick-up time to 9:10am so that it would definitely be ready by the time I arrived. When I walked in at 9:15am, the employee hadn't even started on my order yet... and ultimately, I didn't walk out of the store until **9:28** am with my smoothie, and I needed to be at work at 9:30am. The employee herself was completely polite, but didn't acknowledge the fact that the smoothie was being made late. I understand life happens, but for an order made over 30 minutes in advance on the website, the store didn't seem busy enough to justify how late my order came out. My actual smoothie's texture was just too thick and the flavor felt muted, like the fruit in it needed more ripening. I did like it more after it had sat out for an hour or two and melted a bit, but due to my overall experience, I could not justify the steep price point. I see now that reviews here are pretty mixed. I'm glad some people love this place, but it's just not for me.

When my sons and I walked in, we were greeted with a warm smile, which was a nice first impression. We let her know we were new to the shop and asked for a few suggestions. She seemed a bit unsure and didn't really offer much guidance, so we ended up ordering what sounded good to us. One son chose a cookies and cream smoothie, my other son ordered a chai milk tea with boba, and I went with the classic milk tea with tapioca pearls. Overall, the drinks were actually good, flavorful and refreshing, just what we needed for a warm day. The ambiance was really pretty and clean. I loved the greenery throughout the space, and the music made it feel welcoming and relaxed. Service-wise, it was just okay not bad, but not memorable either. Would I go back? Maybe. The drinks and vibe might bring us in again, but I'd love a little more enthusiasm and guidance next time

Today we went out of our way to go and when we got home order was missing carrots, ranch, and syrup. Drinks were ok but they have made them more icy before. There will be mistakes made but most of the time is not acceptable.

They use actual pumpkin in their fall drinks and real fruits in their coffees and teas. You can taste the freshness in every sip! To be fair, the staff was hustling hard--everyone looked like they were running on pure adrenaline trying to keep up, and they were still friendly despite the chaos. No complaints there; they're clearly doing their best. The place itself is tiny and feels cramped even when it's half-empty. Tables are squeezed together, and the ceiling (yikes) is absolutely caked with years of dust and cobwebs. I couldn't stop staring up at it while I waited, and it honestly made my skin crawl a little. Menu is huge and looks promising, but I just wanted a simple London fog (it's not even listed, but most coffee shops can make one). What I got tasted like faintly-earl-grey-flavored hot water with a splash of milk. I watched them make it--they literally just dropped a tea bag in a cup, poured hot water, added a quick shot of vanilla syrup, and handed it over. No steeping, no real effort. For almost $6, it was honestly insulting. I finished maybe a third of it out of politeness and bolted. Two stars instead of one because the employees were trying and the place has clearly been a neighborhood staple for a long time, but everything else felt tired and neglected. I won't be rushing back.
