Boba places have been popping up like crazy in Orem. There are at least 5 Boba shops within walking distance, yet Chat Chat is always the busiest. Conveniently located in the food court, Chat Chat uses the freshest ingredients, while being the best priced drinks in the area. I am obsessed with their Thai Tea.

Fantastic Boba! We stopped recently on a road trip. They have TEA and NON-TEA options (milks). Super fun, great for kids and the family, and a refreshing stop on the road. Great, clean, bright, location.

Fun place. Stopped on a road trip. Great job on the boba-nailed it! Tons of flavors, and NON-tea options as well (like milks)

I can't say that it wowed me. I feel like it was way too sugary and not enough of the earthy natural flavor I was hoping for. Tasted too homogenized for me... I will not return. Now if I'm going for a 7-11 or Maverik taste frozen drink Or a sugar on ice i will return.

The first time I tried this I did not know how to order and ended up with a funky drink and the chewy boba. That is key, is knowing how and what to order. There's so many different flavors and options you can mix. My new mixture is Wintermelon Milk Tea or Mango Milk Tea with green tea and the Passion Fruit Popping Boba. the passion fruit popping boba is so funky because pops and is full of passion fruit flavors. Make sure you pick up the larger smoothie style straw otherwise you won't be able to suck them up. It's different and a little expensive, but is a fun treat once in awhile.

Thank you for bringing boba close to Provo! Right in the food court of the mall. Sadly prices are a little bit probably due to rent... Overall it was great, boba was well cooked and chewy. I do however wish they used more brown sugar. We had the mango smoothie which was pleasantly mango-y! It was about $6 for our large mango smoothie with boba. We drank it in no time! They have some games and employees were nice!

After trying the new boba place by Sprouts, I'd say this place doesn't offer as much variety, and definitely isn't as good as newer boba shops that are opening in the market!

A boba-loving friend recommended Chat Chat Boba for the next time I was near University Mall. Boba tea in Utah is mostly unauthentic, but we have three legit places in Orem... Chat Chat in the University Mall food court, Boba Time across the street next to Sprouts, and at the Asian Market up State Street on the right.

This place has lots of yummy options for their drinks. I've tried their taro and I think winterberry-? But I love their bobas too especially the popping ones! The staff is super friendly and gave me a punch card for whenever I come to get drinks check them out so tasty

    Classic Boba Milk Tea

First time experiencing this place in the food court at University Mall. Paid for a small classic boba milk tea that cost $4.60 with tax. At first I was so ecstatic to see a boba stand in the food court! However, I wasn't impressed or thrilled with the quality. The boba was good, it was soft and chewy = it was recently cooked. The taste of the milk tea was a bit watery, and lacking richness in flavor. Coming from California/The Bay Area - this place is subpar compared to the boba places from the South Bay, where tons of ethnic, authentic food come from. Again, this review is specifically for the Classic Boba Milk Tea. If they didn't water down the drink, maybe the quality and richness would be present in the drink. The employee was friendly and happy to take my order though! Happy with the customer service. I have yet to find a great boba place in Utah County that will satisfy my boba cravings (besides having to travel to SLC for one!)

Really great boba in Utah! I've had a lot of boba in Asia (even from carts down some pretty sketchy alleys) and grew up with great boba everywhere in California. This place is pretty good! I've tried the taro smoothie with boba and passion fruit milk tea so far. The boba was really good! Good texture and sweetness. The smoothie was really well blended and creamy. Super refreshing milk tea and not too sweet! Have been back a couple times and they've been consistently good :)

The service is friendly, and I love bubble tea so I thought I'd give this place a try. I ordered a large drink which cost me about $4 plus tax. It tasted fine, but took nearly 10 minutes to make. I knows they're a new establishment but they only had two people working. I'll be coming back though, I love my bubble tea!

A lot of them were a bit hard, which really took away from the drink. At $7.25, it didn't feel worth it. I was planning to try their popcorn chicken, but they stopped selling it just a few days ago -- such a bummer. The popcorn shrimp wasn't available either (not sure if it's also discontinued or just sold out for the day). So I ended up getting the fried fish balls, and they were better than expected! Honestly, they didn't look very appealing, but they tasted delicious and were quite spicy. It was 10 fish balls for $7.50, which felt reasonable. The wait was long for a boba shop. There was only one staff member taking orders, and I think she was also making all the drinks. There were people in the kitchen handling food orders, but the front was clearly understaffed. Last time I came here on a Saturday night, I waited over 30 minutes -- thankfully, I didn't have to wait as long this time. Mixed experience overall. The fish balls were the highlight, but the drink and wait time brought it down a notch.

It was sweet, salty and spicy! We liked it but preferred to mix the drink up so the flavors had a more cohesive taste. If you don't like texture in your smoothie this is not for you as the spice creates some grit. We were happily surprised by how large the drink was. The location was clean and neat but as always the mall parking lot was very full just after dinner time. Definitely worth a return visit maybe to try more of their food menu.

We ordered a Dirty Little Secret and personalized two others. We also got their new Dill Pretzels. The drinks were actually really good! Love that you got the fruity flavor as well as the soda. None of them were too sweet. The pretzels were a fun little snack but the flavor could be stronger I think. I didn't catch her name but the girl who helped us was soo helpful. She walked us through the menu, was extremely patient as we tried to decide what to get and what flavors would go well with what. I'll be coming back once more before I leave because as I left I saw they had energy drink options which I love!

Came here after a fun drive through alpine loop scenic byway/walk downtown as a little treat while we drove through BYU and it did not disappoint! It was super busy inside so we decided to just go through the drive through. The server was nice and quick even if it was just her and while the line was a little confusing because 2 becomes 1, it was not that bad of a line and we got our drink quickly. I ordered the just peachy which was Coke Zero, peach, and coconut creme- it was good! While I'm more of a refreshing drink girly, I do think this drink was tasty even if it wasn't what I'd usually order. I imagine this location gets really busy because of its location so close to BYU campus

Upon arriving, met the other owner - Iris, who was very personable and genuine in person! For a regular boba milk drink, it's $5. For a milk slushy (the icy version) it is $6. They has flavors such as Strawberry, Winter-melon, Mango, Honeydew, Coconut, and Taro. At the farmers market, they took cash or Venmo for payment, which was convenient for non-cash carriers like me. At first, I was going to order just the Taro milk, but ended up ordering the Taro slushy with boba. From my extensive experience of drinking milk tea with pearls (boba), when you order boba in a slushy drink, it tends to get hard and not stay soft and chewy. I was right, the boba did turn hard in the slushy drink, which is (almost) always the case. Normally when I do order the slushy version, I order the boba "on the side" and take nibbles of it while I sip the slushy separately. I guess I wanted to try the boba IN the slushy drink just to see if theirs would be different. Will def order a reg milk one next time so the boba stays soft and chewy. Also, they do not have actual milk "tea" drinks. They use only milk as a base and flavor it with your choice of flavor (mango, strawberry, etc). Their Taro flavor was pretty good, it has the right amount of sweetness without it being too overpowering.

Highly recommend! I really like wintermelon flavored boba milk. The other flavors are good too.read more
