I requested a quote through Yelp and got a very quick reply from Scott, offering a very reasonable rate and an appointment a few days later, which either was forgotten or written down incorrectly. After that It took about ten emails and several texts before his son came to our house. The son was very helpful, professional and, upon finding that replacing the socket didn't solve the issue with our outlet, he turned a two-pronged plug into a three-pronged one and voila, we could plug in and use our washer again. Yay! I have a couple of suggestions for Scott: One, please let your customers know up front that you have a two hour minimum, not just the hourly rate quoted. Also, it says on Yelp that you accept credit cards, and I was told only Zelle or Venmo would be accepted. And maybe an admin would be helpful to organize appointments, emails, etc.. We really appreciate the work that your son did and thank you for providing us the service that we needed in a relatively short amount of time.

Beyond that they seemed most knowledgeable of all the companies, and above board. Some of the companies suggested things that didn't need to be done (such as drilling a vent through the wall instead of pulling the air inside the large garage), or shady things like not pulling permits. The company I used for my Air Conditioner misdiagnosed what was wrong. Mr Freeze determined the correct solution and told me what I needed to tell the other HVAC company to fix it (it was under warranty by them). They didn't believe me, and wanted to do their own diagnostics, which ended up shorting out the furnace. It ended up Mr. Freeze was correct. They were also very friendly and prompt. It was a repeat of my first attempt to contact them, I never got a real person, but I did leave a voice message for them, again I left my name, number, and what I was trying to accomplish. Again, crickets. After 4 full days, 2 full business days (I called Friday morning and here we are after close of business the following Monday and still no call from them. Seeing how the heat pump is completely kaput, I cannot waste any more time waiting for them to reply. So yes, I will leave you alone now. Scott quoted me 600-1500, and asked to come out the next day, not even looking at where I lived on a map. I couldn't do the next day and requested the following week, and he asked to come over the weekend. Then he increased his estimate by more than double, and made it sound like he was giving me a deal when he shaved a couple hundred off. After a lot of back and forth, he ended up saying he was coming and then not showing up just about 5 days in a row after realizing I lived further away than he thought and making excuse after excuse . He'd say he was coming, and text me 10 minutes before he said he'd be at my house telling me it wasn't happening, like I hadn't rearranged my entire day expecting him. To top all of this off, today I had to file a dispute against him with my credit card, because he's as of yet refused to refund me the $750 deposit he made me give him. He pushed me repeatedly to pay him via venmo or cash and now I'm SO happy I didn't because you can't dispute those payment methods. In the end, I got a different company to do the work for $2000, a full grand less than Scott quoted and it was done cleanly, quickly, and without issue. I would be extremely wary of hiring this company, they do not have it together.

He never showed up after weeks of running me around and hours of waiting and scheduling my day around him showing up. He still has my $500 deposit and I have yet to see his face. I have chronic pain and saved for a year to afford a therapeutic hot tub for pain relief and I could have had the wiring installed ten time by now but instead am short $500 for the job and will have to wait another couple of months before I can afford it again. He is crook and I assume a major tweaker from our conversations. DO NOT CALL THIS MAN, literally the worst!
