FIX THE ATM!! OR GET A SECOND ONE!!!! It is rarely ever working. I have an older phone so I am unable to use the Chase app anymore so I rely on the ATM to be able to deposit my checks on evenings and weekends. So it is EXTREMELY frustrating to go and find that, once again, the ATM isn't accepting deposits. So I have to keep going back, hoping it is fixed or not be able to pay bills on time! Or I go to withdraw money on the weekend, only to find out that the ATM is again not working, so I have to go to another bank to get money and be forced to pay their outrageous fees!! With my bill's late fees and other bank's atm fees, I am actually LOSING MONEY from this bank because their only ATM is so unreliable!!!! read more

Today I stood in a long line while there were many staff around keeping busy but I am sure that opening another teller wouldn't have hurt them. There was only one lady, bless her poor soul. Or should I say content soul since she works at the bank hehe I gave this bank one star for the friendly service such as an employee going around to ask if there was any way someone could use one of the two ATMs located inside. I did notice she did not go around person to person starting from the first person in line but instead started in the middle of the line. Why did she do that? A lady in line was going to deposit a check but for some reason she was told she could not do it on the ATMs ?_? Another star was given for the tranquil environment they provided while we waited. Chase has wonderful large windows. I was practicing my patience while I waited to be helped. Thankfully I had no where else to go but imagine those who were in a hurry. Damn! I arrived at the bank for some quarters at 1:16 and left at 1:40pm, phew! I gave this bank another star for being opened compared to the Arcata,CA location while reinforcing social distancing and providing antibacterial gel. Overall I have never had a negative employee experience at the Chase but I think they can improve in some areas too. Such as making more teller stations only three exist and one or two are usually open, having the ATMs provide rolls of quarters, parking space is a bit tight and narrow & having less lights on! read more

Their ATM outside is almost always broken. I wish I was exaggerating but I'm not. It's literally nearly always down when I go to use it. Multiple times. It's so annoying because it means I can deposit money on the weekend. read more

This location is a joke of a bank. The employees are unprofessional and the whole location is under staffed. They would not honor a check from their own bank due to the fact my client wrote my email after my name on the declaration line separated by a hyphen which legally entitles each entity equal opportunity to cash (they were both me so it should not of mattered anyways). Instead of following the order of operations in accordance to banking laws they just shut me out and basically said no to everything. I went right over to Wells Fargo they honored it no problem and it was not even their check, nor did I have an account with them.... The management shows a lack of knowledge concerning banking laws and do not handle situations correctly. Save yourself the stress, go with one of our Credit Unions or Wells Fargo. ps.... Raheman D. comments are bs. "Ample parking." Your a liar, their parking lot is always full and hard to navigate as it is small in fact you can see all the collisions that have happened on the delineators and pylons in the parking lot because of lack of space... I love Chase. I was a Washington Mutual customer and hated the idea of the bank change. I have visited Chase in MANY CA cities and am impressed every time I walk out. This experience was no difference with the Eureka location. Staff was so friendly and kind. They smile and really seem to like their jobs. I recommend this bank over ANY other and I've had accounts at all the big ones. read more

After 20 years I am looking for new bank. They shut down without notice, ATMs not working no way to make deposits. To make matters worse their credit cards wont take a payment from another bank. So basically they set you up to fail. I will be in arrears on my payments because I cant make a deposit within a 200 mile radius. Customer service gone from outstanding to rude obnoxious phone reps. The Eureka and Arcata branches are just CLOSED now since the first of the month. The atms won't accept cash or give cash. For over a week now we have to use other banks atms and pay them AND chase a fee. As soon as the Eureka branch opens I'll be closing ALL my accounts there. read more

I've been banking with Chase for years and I travel for work so I get to deal with a number of branches. This one is by far the worst. The tellers at this branch can't give me a printed statement of my account, every other one I've used could, I was waiting for over 1/2 hour yesterday to speak with the one banker behind a desk and was finally told by the 2 tellers who were doing nothing that I probably wouldn't get to see him because they were closing in an hour and a half and once he was done with the customer he was helping that he would be going to lunch. The staff is knowledgeable and always friendly and helpful! The bank has a nice and clean interior with coffee offered. There is an ATM outside and two entrances on either side of the street with a parking lot which means there are plenty of places to park. Downside: Most of the time if you want to talk to a banker or the teller says that your inquiry/ transaction will need to be dealt with by a banker, it's a long wait. I generally plan to spend at least 45 minutes waiting and it has happened multiple times. This is not because the bankers are incompetent (they're extremely efficient once you can get to them!), but because there is sometimes only one on duty and they must take the time to please their clients. Last time I went in it took 45-50 minutes and there were only two people ahead of me. Other than that, a nice bank and of excellent quality! read more
