I was told NO, until 30 days late. So, after 10 days, I get hit with full interest penalty, which I fought for a month, then they reported 30 days late to my credit! PNC Bank has really gone downhill. I should have known when our RE Agent said, by all means don't go through PNC. We have been with PNC 17 years and are ready to move to another bank. The girl was completely offended I was calling. I let her know I was transferred wanting information on a line of credit. She was so rude and kept telling me I was in the wrong dept and to call back. You can't get it together enough to train your people where calls go? And your employees in underwriting are so rude as to blame a potential customer? There are too many banks begging for money, I happily took my business to another bank and closed my HELOC in 2.5 weeks. Train your people better, Park National.

I used this bank since I was a kid. I decided to open a 2nd savings account for myself (the other…read moreone was money that had been passed down by a family member hence wanting to keep it separate) & went into an in-person location to set it up. Everything seemed fine, had to transfer $200 into it to start it but whatever, waited a couple days before doing anything with it as advised; then tried to put money into it & couldn't. Not over the app or website. Called the bank & was told "oh, yeah, that's not a real account haha, we'll fix it". It does get fixed, but after another few days & after I was already promised this was a working bank account to begin with. After around a month/month & a half I decide I want to leave. I want a credit card, debit cards that actually WORK (the North Side ones don't tap, & often have to be redone when slid in/swiped), & a banking app that allows me to do more than just transfer money from one account to another. I set all of that up at another bank, wait for my debit & credit cards before I transfer all my money out of the North Side accounts, & once I get the cards I go to North Side to get my cashier's checks & nuke my existing accounts. Everything seems to go smoothly but I end up with some extra money on the checking accounts check. I assume they didn't account for the check that was just cashed for my new apartment & just sort of shrug it off as at this point I'm totally fed up with them & it wouldn't be the first time they've flubbed it with something like this. However yesterday my dad gets a call from our cell phone provider that they couldn't get our phone bill paid because his account didn't exist. So he set up an account awhile back after a medical emergency that was in all my family member's names (4 of us) so that we were covered bill-wise if something happened to him & these idiots went "well your name was on it, that means you get all the money in it & we're closing the whole account :)" when I closed my personal accounts to transfer away from North Side. Despite me SPECIFYING that I only wanted 2 checking & 2 savings accounts closed (the 4 that were exclusively in my name.) On top of that, I totally forgot this other account existed. My dad told me once in an email right after he'd gotten out of the hospital years ago, & as I am chronically ill & have only become functional enough to work normal hours within the last year or so, I didn't really worry about it, as well as not having real access to it without having to like call in or go in person. & the person who closed these accounts didn't check with me when this account didn't line up with the account descriptions I gave for the ones I wanted closed. While they did get it back up & running (apparently because we're such good customers ), I now owe my dad over a thousand dollars because they couldn't listen to my instructions in the first place. They were also incredibly condescending to both my father & I when we called about this issue & explained to them why this was a ridiculous thing to do & essentially told us it was all our fault & they couldn't be blamed at all, but they'd be so kind as to fix it for us. My dad is now considering leaving them & I'm incredibly glad I left as this is insane. Side note, having an account that has 4 people on it be able to be shut down & completely emptied by only 1 of it's members is an insane safety risk. Not sure if this is the case for every bank, but either way that is legit asking for someone to run away with the group's money if even one of the people isn't a good person, much less something like an abusive marriage or family dynamic.

As there is no Key Bank local to me, I ended up at this branch as a trip to Jungle Jim's (down the road) was also planned. The 3 Tellers inside of the bank were extremely helpful. As this was (I'm guessing) a somewhat unusual situation, I spoke with all 3 Tellers who assisted in the process of getting access back to my mobile banking. Between making different phone calls, waiting on hold and then assisting me with setting up my new mobile banking account, the process took approximately 45 minutes to an hour. While I was waiting I took pictures of this adorable piggy bank. I wanted to request a piggy bank for myself, but I refrained...lol. 5 star experience today at this branch.

Lost a few cards to stolen wallets, Todd had a new card in my hand in less than a week. We're on a first name basis now with how often I have questions about the way an account, a card or a service works.
