It seems difficult to go south on S.R. 4 again, and there was only a little, unmarked driveway for several businesses. The ATM is around the back in the drive-up lane closest to the building. There is another little path at the rear of the businesses that apparently leads to Liberty-Fairfield Road. I'm always torn as to whether ATMs should be walk-up or drive-up types. Obviously, it's much easier to get the car to the drive-up type. The others have that little room that's too cramped for a car. I was surprised when the ATM only asked me if I wanted English or Spanish. I used to see several with Russian and Chinese, and since there are people in the area who could use both, the omission is odd. In any case, the ATM worked well. It wasn't quick but it didn't have a problem, thankfully.

Unlike most companies that started in our region, this company has no grasp of basic customer service, let alone friendliness. Essentially, if you are not there to buy one of their loan products from their aggressive and predatory bank "managers," you will be lucky to get the time of day from the folks at the Fairfield Branch, let alone courteous service. Case and point this week I had a check written on their bank and decided to save myself the extra trip of going to my bank, since they were right next to the Kroger I was shopping at. What should have taken five minutes turned into a half-hour ordeal, and in the end, I still ended up needing to go to my bank anyway. Essentially, Fifth Third will not honor their checks, written on their bank. They will not cash a check written on their bank without a DNA test and something called a convenience fee: $10.00 Now keep in mind, I had the new Ohio TSA/DHS compliant driver's license and my passport, but for some reason those two forms of ID we're not acceptable, unless I had an account with them. They would require additional paperwork and a fee. . .to cash a check written on their bank! I asked to speak to the branch manager, but he could not be bothered more than 30 seconds to do his job, because he was busy in his little office, with his buddies, going over his fantasy football picks. This bank is a black eye on the face of Cincinnati. It is pretty bad when banks based in Columbus and Pittsburgh care more about Cincinnati than 5/3rd.

The online features they promise are so limited and bogged down by security getting in to use your account to make it free, is impossible cause they want their 4 dollar a month fee. Wont give me a new credit card because im grandfathered in at a 6 percent interest rate, and they dont want me to use it. Told me i couldnt access my money on a holiday weekend to pay my bills because the whole bank was doing account maintainance that weekend so everything was paid late. And now charged me 156 on monthly fee charges that resulted in my account being overdrawn when i didnt use account for a month but had 30 in it. Never again first financial you lost a loyal customer.
