They made me put down $100 deposit because I made a reservation for three people (totally fine). The woman who provided my service didn't actually do all of the parts that were in a classic pedicure (for example they're supposed to exfoliate your feet with that little scrub sponge and she just wet the sponge and rubbed my foot once. Then threw it away). She did a very rushed job on the French tip portion, and it looked very jagged. When she asked me if I liked it I asked her to fix a part and it honestly just made it worse. The front desk personnel was very dry. When I asked her when I would be reimbursed for the remainder of the amount because my service was not $100 she just said her manager would come in and do it at some point. Left my card information on a sticky note on the desk. Whatever place, the aesthetic was cute at least.

I've had excellent gel manicures/pedicures from Chi and Kevin. I once came in with especially short, broken toenails and I swear Kevin was able to work actual magic on them! She has good taste and is very helpful with color selection--so if you're not sure which shade to go for, ask for her advice. The phone has always been answered when I've called, and oftentimes they are able to get me in for last-minute, same-day bookings. Pricing is very reasonable for Santa Barbara. Thank you, Lux!

When I went to pay I asked how much is this gel, he said it's $45 and dip powder would have been $60 anyways. So they changed the price on me and didn't even give me the service I asked. Very disappointed in the service and how they handled this situation. Also the job he did on my nails is so cheap, and looks horrible. They didn't even apologize. I'm so upset and wouldn't recommend coming here. Update to owners response: I never mentioned anything about Gel. I never get gel. I said I wanted a basic pedicure, and even if for some reason they thought that meant gel on my feet, why would they assume I didn't want dip on my hands? The man was extremely rude, he said that the price was $60 and that they never said $55. Now the owner is admitting she said $55. Who says "I want to see the gel colors?". I'm not the type of person to leave bad reviews. Truly one of the worst services I've ever had. Not to mention she didn't even address the terrible job the man did on my nails (see the picture). Her response is even worse. They should have apologized but now to come on and make things up is a step too far.
