Ok today I went to get my one nail done because the polish came off and so the owner told me to come in at 4:45 ok I was there at 4:40 and she did a woman whole nail set , then when she finish her nails set up the water for her feet ok and then while I'm sitting there for one nail to be done she the owner decides to go and rub lotion on the lady arms and oh her mom went in the back until she decided to do the one nail and started the woman pedicure and then when the owner did my one nail I had to guess if it was dry because she went to the other woman that came with the woman she was doing and started rubbing her hands and oh she didn't treat me like a client that been going to her and she didn't even put the after clear gel on my nail and when I sat there deciding if I was dry or not she the owner while she rubbing the woman hands said I was dry but how would she know so I will not be going back to this place well I'll say this if your white you'll get the service you want with a smile on there freaking faces. I feel we are paying customers just like them but we get treated like crap, but let it go back to all black businesses doing bails oh that when they want to throw their fake niceness on you. How you rate this place depends on what you want out of a pedicure. Do you want soft music, beautiful decorating, complimentary drinks? The spa experience? If so... go somewhere else. If you want someone experienced, that pays attention to detail, and knows how to properly remove in grown toe nails and don't need the fancy digs come here. All I need is clean in terms of the environment, don't like to pay for marble and chandeliers. Thought I would try a new place with high reviews on Yelp. I should have read the couple one star reviews. I was cut - on the third bleed I called out for help and 'Cindy' came to the rescue. At first she suggested that I was overly sensitive but I think she soon realized that I was right, either that or she wanted to please the customer. Anyway she ended taking over from 'Angie' and doing a very good job. She also reduced the fee to $20 and told me to come back to her. I would've given zero stars for cutting me, but I gave to back because of the great customer service. My recommendation is to avoid Angie. read more

Horrible nail experience. Came around 4:30pm on a Tuesday afternoon. No other customers at the time with about three employees. The lady that did my gel manicure cut me (causing bleeding) on four different fingers. She also didn't do the gel the same thickness in all parts of the nails, so it looks very streaky. The lady doing my pedicure did an okay job--did too heavy of coats of polish so likely won't last though. She only cut me once and didn't draw blood--it just hurt when she cleaned with the alcohol or acetone. I will definitely NEVER be back. read more

I've had 2 experience so far at this name salon. The first one was fine other than my heels hurt for 3 days after she removed the dead skin from my heels. The second time was just yesterday; the girls' name was Yessina (Yesi). I get pedicures quite often but she did by far the best job I've had in a long time! She was meticulous and gentle. Cindy was such a sweetheart, so nice to talk to, she took her time with my gel pedicure and overlay dip powder manicure. And the dip powder was organic!!! She took the time to give me recommendations, told me about my nails and what to do to help make them stronger and healthier after years of tips. She made me feel so comfortable! If you are looking for a quick in and out, half way done job this is not the place for you. The family owned nail shop has been here doing it correctly for years!!! A bit pricey but completely worth it. I went in and got a pedicure and acrylic nails and they were so careful and clean. They definitely take pride in what they do and it probably took a bit longer than most nail places but the result was worth it. I being going to Charmin nails over 6 years ago and I love this nail day spa salon! They are so professional, nice ladies, very clean shop, sweet and concerned about you, it make you feel good! Prior to go Charmin nails I "jumped" for years from nails shops and now I am so glad I found them that I want to tell everyone! Got a French tip deluxe pedicure. The work is very, very good. The woman working on my feet was meticulous, making sure everything looked right and making any adjustments I requested without any problems. It honestly didn't take as long as the reviews make it seem, in my experience anyway. The salon itself isn't as nice as some places, but the work is definitely much better than many places all while still offering services such as free drinks. Yesterday was my first time going to Charmin Nails. I had an amazing experience. I had my nails done by Cindy with the Organic Dip and then gel polish on top. My nails came out beautiful! I also had a very relaxing pedicure with Kim. She spent a lot of time on a foot and ankle massage, that felt wonderful. Also, they have great massage chairs that are very strong! I didn't have an appointment, but I know I saw a sign mentioning walk ins being welcomed....as soon as I walked in, I got stared down as if I didn't belong in there by some older lady who seemed to have been the only one doing nails. Finally another lady came up to me and asked if she could help me...I said I didn't have an appt and she said that I wouldn't be able to be seen that day....mind you a Saturday! I was a little annoyed and started to turn around to walk out and she stopped me to mention that I could be seen if I wanted to wait for 30 min that there were 3 people ahead of me. Smh! I would never go back to that establishment....i told her no thank you, since the lady doing nails kept looking at me with the ugliest of faces. I walked out. I've been coming to see Cindy for over a year now and she's always done great work. This review is not about the work because she really does an amazing job. My issue is with the pricing. I've been told a different (higher) price for the same services multiple times. I've never said anything because I'm not confrontational but today I did. I came here back when they did the 20% off regardless of what you had done on M-Wed and I remember a month or so ago Cindy telling me that it was going to be 20% off if you spend $40. Cool no biggie I usually spend that anyways. Today I go in and Cindy told a customer that they had to spend $45 to get the 20% off and I thought it was weird since she had just told me it was off of $40. Today I wanted a dip fill and somehow it went from "yes we can do a fill in on your dip.. no you don't need a new set" (which I thought was great since a fill in is usually quite a bit cheaper) it went from that to me receiving gel color on top of dip base? Anyways, I thought I was asking the right questions about the pricing and what I was having done all along but apparently I wasn't and I felt super taken advantage of. Cindy and her crew are super nice and awesome people but the pricing is always changing and never in the customers favor so I'm going to take my business somewhere else. Walked in on a Friday around 5:45pm (their hours said they closed at 7pm). My sister and I came to get some pedicures, we sat and soaked for 45 minutes or so. We were continuously told someone would be right with us, had we known that wasn't the case we probably wouldn't have even bothered to stay. When one woman finally got to me, she didn't even ask what kind of pedicure I wanted, used the completely wrong color I asked for, and rushed through it, no massage, barely any scrub, and the paint job is already coming off 3 days later. She was obviously trying to rush through it so she could leave for the night. Then when she was finished with me, I guess her plan was to do my sister, but we didn't even bother to waste more time or money there. When I explained the situation to the woman who i believe was in charge that i was very dissatisfied, she acted in disbelief and only gave me 10% off. Which then shocked me, because she was pretty much witnessing the entire thing while doin someone else's nails. The entire experience was horrible, my sister didn't even get what she came for and to not even offer more than a lousy $3 off is just terrible customer service in my opinion! Neither my sister nor I will ever be back here. Going to a nail salon should be relaxing, seeing as it's a luxurious thing most people reward themselves with, we left no where near relaxed or happy, rather upset I spent money and our time somewhere that could've cared less we walked through the door. read more

After unsuccessfully visiting at least 5-6 nail salons in the area thank goodness I found Charmin Nails on Camp Bowie. This nail salon is superb and ABSOLUTELY - HANDS DOWN THE BEST salon I have ever experienced. This family run business is clean, professional and most of all friendly. They take pride in their craft and do consistently great services. I would highly recommend trying the salon out. I promise you won't be disappointed!!! I have been coming here for a few years and I absolutely love it! Best of all is the quality of service the staff provides. I typically get a Charmin Spa pedicure and gel polish manicure and have always loved my nails and the way my skins glows and feels afterwards. I have also had the eye brow waxing which provided me with a great shape that I maintain on my own with tweezing.
