They came back later to waterproof the outside of my house at the bottom of a slope, where a rain chain did not quite do as good of a job of shoveling away the water compared to a gutter system with a downspout. Their workmanship and professionalism was excellent. But the best part is that they continue to take such good care of me now even over a year later. I had an issue where I thought the electrical outlets to the sump and dehumidifier were not working today - big thanks to Scott for texting me back on a weekend and especially to Brandon for coming out within 24 hours on a Saturday to help me problem solve the issue. He showed up and was kind and not at all impatient. I didn't realize those electrical outlets had their own dedicated switchbox outside the house! It was an easy fix. But as we were walking up to the house to problem solve it I had mentioned that I knew I was out of warranty by a few months. Brandon assured me that doesn't matter. They take care and ownership of their workmanship and would have repaired it for me regardless! And that's the extra that is above and beyond any other company.

More like favoritism to a local business. 3) the purchasing process was miserable with them. The owner no showed on the day of our appt, leaving one employee to run the entire store. We had 5 people in the store and had to actually leave for lunch and come back because we couldn't even have a conversation. 4) the only communication or work required on their part beyond the initial meeting was to answer an email if freight was included and if the products were in stock. Not sure how this led to many phone calls. Gave them the pricing from Ferguson's and asked them to beat. They matched or were higher on every item. When I informed them that I was going to buy from fergusons, this was the email I got. Very unprofessional coming from the owner of the business.

I responded in surprise so what what is your 90% ballpark estimate as we discussed (understanding minor adjustments and design changes can change cost as well as materials prices). His response was 30k so I asked he email me it as we discussed to confirm the size and design and again he said I don't do that and if you want to move forward we can get more detailed. I asked him directly " am I detecting an attitude in your responses as my desire is to make sure we are on the same page. If I can't get the estimating person to provide a basic estimate to build off with out a tone that I should just agree and hand him my cash is unacceptable. A basic estimate would have taken him maybe 15 minutes and would lay out timelines, payment schedule and clarification on what the 30k provides is not to much to expect. Under no conditions would I agree to any work where I get a fraction of my desires addressed / confirmed understanding and then be spoken to like "agree to us doing it then we can address your questions with a condescending tone. I thanked him and walked him to his vehicle. I called the office and explained my dissatisfaction and refuse to use a company that the sales person can not keep his frustration in check and forgot I am the one paying for the project and not some guy on the street that was interfering with his day. Attitude and respect sets the stage and if providing a quote is an annoyance, then don't advertise a free quote (perhaps the old saying you you get what you pay for is true, I paid noting and got my money's worth). This is the first time we seriously considered terminating a contractor mid-project. Communication was consistently poor, the project schedule and material ordering were severely mismanaged, and the crew showed up only six days over an almost two month period in the summer when the majority of work should have been completed, contributing to turning what should have been a three month job into a six month project. Job-site cleanup was not maintained, significant errors were made, and there was resistance and defensiveness when those mistakes needed to be corrected. Rather than taking accountability, the company disputed issues that were clearly the result of their own lack of oversight and execution. Overall, the level of service, organization, and workmanship fell far below what we've experienced with other contractors and what you would expect at this price point.
