Purchased several weeks ago. Required two trips to complete measurements. Was told install would be Monday, 11 Aug. Received call that morning saying not today. Rescheduled for today, noon-4pm with call 30 mins out. At 2:45, called to check. "No update. They'll call by 5pm." It's 3:36 and stillno call. I've have rescheduled plumbers and painters once already. Having been out of our home since Helene, this is the one thing we have to complete before the rest of the finish work can happen. Everyone else is waiting on them... and the P.O.S. installation manager won't talk to me. Just hangs up. Go anywhere else. Use any other company. I don't care how wonderful the granite is, they clearly don't understand how to manage business. They require a 3-day notice to reschedule, but have now dropped the ball twice in one week without regard to my cost or inconvenience. read more

First time they came here one of the pieces of my counter top was cut wrong so I had to wait for the new piece to be cut correctly, second time they brought the wrong piece again! We have been attempting to have a countertop installed since June after Stabella came and measured our old kitchen countertop. Placed the order in May. We have been very puzzled by the communication between Home Depot and Stabella's "said" process. Via Home Depot's website I placed our order and at the same time made the countertop selection. Since June I have had some calls from Home Depot and Stabella requesting I select my countertop which again is on my Home Depot order. In Stabella's representative, they don't see that. In a recent conversation (October 16, 2023) with Stabella I spoke with a very rude person that wanted to own the conversation and continued talking over the CUSTOMER and would not stop after a number of times asking her to let me talk. Whenever I started talking, she continued to interrupt and talk over me until I became so frustrated, I told her to shut up and felt it was the most appropriate response and she ended the conversation. I called back to speak to a higher authority (the same person answered), and she then refused to pass me to the manager or owner. Home Depot needs to rid themselves of Stabella and I personally would not do business with them if it was my choice for our kitchen countertop. I wonder if Lowes has better partners. read more

After reading some reviews of this company I'm glad I canceled my order which I placed through Lowes before I got too far into the project. Paid my 50% deposit and waited over a week for the measure appointment. They came and couldn't measure because their laser measuring tool couldn't find all the corners (seems the measurers didn't know how to use a tape measure).They called two days later to reschedule, but by this time I had canceled thought Lowes because the Stabella time frame was way too long for my needs. I have since gone with a smaller local company with a much better turn around time and a better cost. Hopefully they are better than Stabella...they couldn't be worse, from what I read. However, we had a completely opposite experience. The crew was efficient and professional. They consulted us when decisions had to be made and provided useful advice. We did alter our design which required another visit. The appointment was rescheduled two times before they completed the project one evening. The guys were great. We purchased a bathroom countertop thru Home Depot because the quartz we chose turned out to be HD exclusive and saved money being allowed to purchase smaller amount without being forced to by whole slab from local fabricators. After I paid, i looked up reviews for Stabella and almost cancelled our order due to some of them. I'm so glad I stayed there course! Any hiccups we had in this process came from HD, not Stabella. They always answered the phone, kept updated status of where we were in the process, and kept their install date as promised. Their template guy was excellent as were the installers. Great experience with them all around. Only negative in the whole thing is the length of time from purchase at HD to project completion was 2 months. where do I start? After about a year there was a crack in the corner of the counter top. Called the contractor who came out. After a few weeks, Stabella told them that cracks we not covered in the warranty! To make a long story short, I had to take them to court and received a judgement in April. Since they are in NC and the work was done in SC, they are ignoring me. The total in $4100. We will have to bit the bullet and go some place else to get the top and sink replaced! Our interaction with Stabella Inc, has been through a countertop purchase at Home Depot. Stabella is one of the contractors HD uses for their countertops. TLDR: Keep your correspondences with Stabella so you can dispute any of their false claims and be very careful to check the details, lengths, seams, corners, edges, because they won't be and will try to stick you with broken/incorrect pieces. From the first time Stabella came out to measure, we knew there were going to be issues. The technician made rough measurements, sometimes only measuring once, when it came time to the details, and we asked what he recommended or what most other people chose, he seemed perplexed and unable to clearly answer basic questions about corner radii, edges, or overhang length. My wife had just overseen the buildout of a new space at work where counters were installed (through Lowe's and another contractor) where they measured multiple times, once with the standard tape measure, and again with a computer controlled laser measure system - so we knew that what Stabella was doing wasn't the greatest. When the installers arrived the problems became apparent. They forgot one of the 7 pieces necessary to complete the install (you'd think someone would do a quick count before the order leaves the shop), one of the pieces was cut about an inch too short (going back to the bad measure), two others had noticeable chips in the corners, and in front of the sink was a large, very noticeable chip with a poor attempt at repair, and the sink cutout was cut incorrectly. If you're keeping count, thats 2 of 7 parts that arrived properly. Unfortunately, for us, we didn't notice the sink chip until after the install, luckily, we didn't sign for the completed visit since they forgot a piece. My largest frustration here is that the chipped piece should never have been allowed to leave the shop, once damaged they should have used it for smaller pieces NOT trying to pass it off as new. Next we reached out to Stabella and Home Depot with pictures of the issues and imperfections. Both responded quickly saying they would look into it and get back to us, both did in a very timely manner - Home Depot taking our side, Stabella remaining stubborn that it wasn't their fault. Here's how that went. On the two smaller chips, they said they would fill them in, no problem there. The missing piece, oops, again they would get it fixed. For the part that was cut too short, are we sure we didn't ask the measurer to have it that short? ...seriously, why would we have asked to have 1" of our cabinets showing, who even says that. Their initial take on the chip in front of the sink was that it was part of the manufacturing process and they would just repair it, no problem they said, even their technician who came to do the repairs was perplexed, saying that it was too big to repair and shouldn't have been shipped. The sink cutout is where things began to get a bit sketchy. When they came to do the chip repairs, they also measured the sink cutout to see if it was cut wrong. Stabella initially told us they cut it to the size the manufacturer's recommended size and the shop checked the cutout blank (piece where the sink is) and that it matched what we agreed to. Both of these were clearly lies. Fortunately for us, we had e-mails between us and Stabella outlining exact measurements for the sink, not only that but we requested, and were given the sink cutout. So the part they claimed to have measured was sitting in my garage. Eventually they agreed to recut both incorrect parts and have now installed them, although they chipped one of the existing parts in the process and didn't have paintable caulk to caulk the edges (now that's my project). Overall, we would never allow Stabella to do another job in our home and are looking forward to having the project done and behind us. read more

My experience with Stabella was the worst experience that I have ever had. I am 62 years old and how they treated me was the worst. I am surprised that Home Depot wants to work with them. The women that work in their office are all very rude. The guy that came out to take measurements said he could not do it because we had things on the counter. It would have taken only 5 minutes to clear the space. He left and we had to set up another time for him to come back. The installation crew came out the Thursday before Easter weekend. They finished up at 6 PM. They did not finish the job. They did not put back any of the covers for the electrical outlets. Everyone at this company goes out of their way to be as rude as possible. I ended up having to have a supervisor from Home Depot to put back the electrical outlet covers. This whole experience was a nightmare. read more

Stabella doesn't even deserve 1 star after the 9 week level of purgatory I have dealt with that is still ongoing. The countertop quality and designs are of satisfaction. The customer service from Natalie was rude, demeaning, and unresponsive. I was left with no countertops and no water as they cut them incorrectly after waiting six weeks. Not only that but I now have a 47 inch scratch on new flooring from them sliding a range across the floor rather than the three men present picking it up. The day they scratched it I made Jesus, the installer take pictures as well. They now deny that they were the reason the floor is scratched and is now refusing compensation. Absolutely do not purchase from Stabella. Lowe's should not use them as a contractor after the way the company has treated me and my beloved house, they are losing a loyal customer. read more

Don't get me wrong the installers were cordial and professional but they installed two countertop sections wrong, never used a square for fine adjustments, and as a result I have a very obvious silicone seam. I sent photos to Lowes and they reached out to Stabella. The response was "I looked at the pictures and that seam is perfect. I don't see a need for us to go back out." Clearly the company does not stand behind their work. I might also add that when you sign off on the Stabella job, there are five pages of disclaimers saying they aren't liable for anything! I purchased granite countertops thru Lowes. They contracted the install with Stabella and I received some of the worst customer service I have ever gotten from any company. After paying for the countertops on a Thursday a rep from Stabella called me on Friday afternoon at around 5:00. I could not take call at the time but called back within 30 minutes and they were closed for the day. On their message they offered me the next Tuesday morning for an appointment to measure. The next day was Memorial Day, a Monday, so Tuesday the time they offered was obviously not gonna work. Two days and four phone calls later I finally received a call back from them. I was given an appointment nine days later and I simply said, "the first appointment you offered was within two days but that past without me being able to get in touch with you". The rep was very rude and blamed me for not getting back in contact with them sooner. Being under somewhat of a time constraint I told her that I would take the appointment but if I found someone to do the install sooner I would let them know for the cancellation. In the mean time I checked Stabella's online reviews to find some very dismal work that they have done and the unhappy customers they have left in their wake. It was difficult to find another company and my time constraint was something to consider over all these issues so I was undecided for several days as to cancel and also wanted to speak with Lowes about this company. When I did speak to Lowes they told me Stabella took my appointment off their schedule and the reason being because I canceled the appointment. I did not. Run from this company. I paid Home Depot to install a backsplash for me and they subcontract Stabella to do the backsplash . I told them the color I wanted when they started the work the color didn't look nothing like the color I chose it didn't match at all . I had a feeling in my sprit that things wasn't going to go well so when he was half way done he called me because I was in the back part of the house and when I walk out I thought that I was being punk it looked terrible it didn't look professional at all then he told me well we can't do the other side because we broke the slab of granite that we cut for that side and he said we got to cut another piece it will take about two days they lied it took a whole month . I told them I didn't like it because it looked very tacky and blotch up they had a big hold in the corner like they had chip the end of it and then they had big seams running down the middle and it was cut wide enough around my microwave so I call the manager of Stabella told him I didn't like it and I sent pictures he said when they come back to fix the other side that they would fix everything that I don't like After waiting a month they came back and I told them that two of my electrical sockets was not working and they was working before and they told me I got all me electrical I said that not right and when they started the other side they broke that piece and my wall was all torn up and they said you got to wait again because we broke another piece my kitchen looks terrible I cried and I felt like I had been scam . I purchased Quartz counter tops from Lowe's who sub contracted the installation with Stabella, Inc. The installation was sub-standard and a nightmare with totally unnecessary damage to our kitchen. The installers were careless, unprofessional and did not take responsibility for any damage they caused. Only when I contacted Lowe's customer complaint dept. did Stabella respond sending someone out to repair the damage. Lexi at Stabella's customer service dept. was helpful setting up the repair, easy and pleasant to work with. She scheduled Carlos, who is without doubt (at least one of) the best and most experienced employees this company has. He did an excellent job repairing the damage caused by the installers. Of course, if the job had been done correctly to begin with Carlos would not have had to come two days to repair our kitchen. I would not recommend using this company for any remodeling, their installers are rude and uncaring of customers and their homes. My husband and I used Stabella for our new quartz countertops because we went through Home Depot, and Home Depot uses Stabella as their fabricator. We had a terrible experience and would not recommend using Stabella. Our initial installation appointment was cancelled the morning of because we were told the piece was dropped and broke. I had a lot of difficulty reaching the Stabella rep to reschedule. It took 48 hours and several phone calls from me to set up another installation appointment six days later. At the second appointment, the installer told me that the piece had not been dropped and that, most likely, the previous installer looked at our drawing and refused to install it because it was too difficult/ not cut correctly. Regardless if this is true or not, this is terrible customer service and communication between employees. He attempted the installation but was unable because it was not designed/ cut correctly, which he knew before he attempted installation. At that point, I had to call Home Depot to help me reschedule again and make sure Stabella actually brought the right piece. It was finally delivered on the third try, but I missed two days of work unnecessarily for our botched appointments. We were also without a usable kitchen (no countertops, no sink, no water for the dishwasher or icemaker) for an extra week. Per the manager at Stabella's suggestion, I emailed the owner Mario with my poor customer experience. I never heard anything back from him. Terrible company - absolutely do not use. If only I could give negative stars....stay far far far away from this company. We went through Lowes Brevard, NC foor quartz countertops. They contracted Stabella for the work. They have been to my house 7...yes 7...times and it still looks awful. First installation team came out and incorrectly installed counters that were not cut correctly. After weeks and many, many hours of phone calls to both Lowes and Stabella, Stabella's Rodrigo came out to assess and he concurred with us that the installation job was a disaster and that the counter tops had been cut incorrectly and placed incorrectly. Not only that but the installation team did extensive damage to my kitchen walls.He came back out (over a month later) and reset the countertops. Part of the redo was that we had to agree to a 5" backsplash because they did not want to repair the damage to my walls. Fast forward four months and all of the caulking seized up and came out, allowing water into my cabinets near the faucet. I called Stabella and they agreed that should not have happened and sent out a team to recaulk. The team they sent told us the countertops were not set properly and this was causing the counter to pull the cabinets away from the wall...and they did not have the correct product to recaulk. So, now Rodrigo comes back out. He says that my walls are contracting and swelling and this is causing the wall to push the countertop away from the wall and cause the problem. Absolutely no damage to my drywall but this was his reasoning. And he did not recaulk. Another month goes by and they finally send out Rodrigo to recaulk...he used clear caulk, which allowed all of the seams to be visible and it looks like a 5 year old child caulked. Spots with no caulking, spots with caulking all balled up. Stay away from this company. Horrible work, no integrity read more

I had purchased quartz counter tops from HD 10/27/2018 and I was told it would take 2-3 weeks to final install. Doing the math this was just in time for Thanksgiving as I had guests coming. Unfortunately that is when my nightmare began as HD uses these installers. I was told the sink needed to be on premise when the final measurements were taken so I purchased a drop in sink when I purchased the counter tops. When they finally came in on 11/9/2018 to do the measure I was asked it it was a drop in or under mount sink. I told them it was a drop-in sink; then I said here is the sink and showed him the picture on the package telling him again this is a drop in sink then I repeated it 3 more times as he was looking at me as if he did not understand. I found out later they did not give the measurements to HD until 11/13/2018. I called on 11/16/2018 to find out the installation date and HD told me "The installer had a question on whether the sink was going to be drop in or under-mount". Once again I told HD it was a drop in sink. Not getting an answer from the HD I called the installer for an installation date the following Monday only to find out "The counter top order has just been sent out for fabrication." Suffice it to say Thanksgiving was fubar since the disassembly and removal of the existing counter tops had been done weeks prior. But my nightmare does not end there. I received a call for installation trying to set it up for 11/29/2018; I told them no I can only do it on Friday 11/30/2018. They said fine we can do it in the afternoon between 1 and 3pm. They never called to verify the appointment either way. I sat at home at 1:45 I called HD to find out where they were, no response. I called HD again at 2:30pm, still no response. I turned the plumbers away at 3:00pm as they came to my door to finish the project. I told them "I am still waiting on the counter tops to be installed, currently I am trying to find out where the installers are." I called repeated both the installer and the HD, no response. Finally after 4:00pm I receive a call from the installers telling me they will be there at 5:30pm to do the install, but it will probably before that. At 5:40pm the plumbers were calling again asking when they can do the install and telling me if the counter top installers did not get there soon they would not be doing the install. Once again I start making calls to find out where the counter-top installers are only to find out they are closed so I start calling the HD again to see if they can find something out. At 6:10pm I am on the phone with the HD to find out where the installers are; in the mean time the plumbers call and tell me they are cancelling because the counter tops have not been installed. The HD "manager on duty" is being told the installers are at my home and I am telling her no I have looked out my window they are not here, I have opened up my door they are not here. stebella did a terrible job fabricating our countertops we purchased from Lowe's. They destroyed a beautiful piece of granite by the way they layed out the design. Original install date was about 4 weeks ago and they do not respond quickly about concerns. After several days of no response my locale Lowe's was able to reach them with a new install date of match 8th. This has caused a major delay in the remodeling of our house. We chose the color of slab to be Antique Brown and when we went to pick out which slab they would use they showed us which ones we had to chose form in our color choice and the slabs were black, white and gray not even close to brown so we went back to Home Depot and after a few days they had finally located a couple of Antique Brown slabs and were shipping them to Knoxville so we could pick one out when we viewed the slab (not slabs they only shipped one) if still wasn't the color we had chosen however it was a color that I liked (we were told that they no longer carried the Antique Brown) They installed the tops a few weeks later but the seam did not match up, it wasn't sealed properly, and there were about 6 small chips and one large chip in one of the tops. We took pictures and called Home Depot and they arranged for Stabella to come back to fix the problem and after 3 no shows, several calls to both Stabella and Home Depot, Stabella finally contracted another contractor to come in and repair the slab, they could not replace that slab because they did not have that color any longer. I just felt like I should warn others not to use this company so you don't have to go through the same problems that we have had. Home Depot has credited a small portion of the counter top back to us but I would have much rather paid the full price and had my counter tops done right. We chose Stabella based off of a recommendation from a family friend. Unfortunately our experience wasn't everything we expected it to be. The main issues that we had was that our countertop was cut into two pieces to fit together, which sounded fine. But they cut a straight line instead of the typical angled line that you see. The straight line makes it so much easier to see. AND the worst part is that the color is so off its extremely obvious to see the line. We just feel that an effort to match the colors at the line should have been made. A few minor issues is that the countertops didn't fit the walls because our walls weren't straight. Which of course isn't Stabella's problem, but the sales rep initially told us that if this happened on sight the installers would just cut the wall a little to slide the counter tops in so everything would be flush with the wall. But when the installers got there they said they couldn't do that because the line (where the two pieces were cut and were supposed to meet) wouldn't be flush. We also decided not to get a backsplash because the sales rep talked us into how "new" and "modern" looking it would be. But then when we ran into the problems with the wall not being straight we wish we had just ordered the backsplash to hide the issues in the wall. Once again, that's not Stabella's fault that our wall wasn't straight but we just wish the sales rep had been a little more realistic instead of making everything seem like roses and daisies. In the end this left us feeling dissatisfied because we expected different things based on the initial sales pitch. Going back to the line where the two pieces met and one side was much darker than the other, they told us that the granite cutters were instructed to put the darker piece in be back. So what that told me is that Stabella was 100% aware of the drastic change in color while they were cutting our granite ... And the didn't care or even think that would bother us? They just sent it out to be installed at our house anyways. They offered to have an installer come out and apply a darkening agent to the lighter side..but why wasn't this done when the granite was still in their factory being cut? It would have saved everyone a lot of trouble and things would have been done right in the first place. We declined having them come back out to apply the darkening agent because we were worried it would end up looking worse and then we'd really be screwed. Let me add that after we notified them we were declining their offer to come out and darken the countertops, we NEVER heard from them again. We NEVER at any point in the process heard an apology that we weren't 100% satisfied, they never bothered to reassure us that their work would look great after they applied the darkening agent and they'd really like to make it right...nothing. Long story short, I would never recommend Stabella and we've even gone so far as to give their name to some acquaintances and say they're who we recommend you NOT use. Stabella might get away with taking our money and leaving us dissatisfied, but we'll do our best to keep people we know from using them. read more
