Unfortunately, we initially had some scheduling conflicts, so I decided to cast a wider net for the job. I then created a task here on Yelp and got additional quotes. She promptly responded again and apologized for the previous scheduling snafus and booked something immediately. She also agreed to honor the previously agreed-upon rate. She came for a consultation, which we conducted remotely, as I was tied up at work. She was gracious enough to walk me through the process on FaceTime, and I described the vision. She listened attentively and even gave my dog some rubs as he trailed her around the house. Due to my schedule, she also worked independently on the day of installation. She kept me informed with texts and pictures of everything as she went along. Due to my poor measuring skills, we were a little short on both walls. I promptly ordered more paper, and she will return to complete the job. Even still, it looked extremely professional, and I am loving interacting with it, even in its unfinished state. We wanted something unique, and the straightforward design has been a great choice--not only is it beautiful and well made, but it is also easy to assemble and disassemble for moving thanks to its simple construction and fewer pieces. The craftsmanship and attention to detail are evident throughout, and we appreciate the quality and expertise that went into creating a custom piece that is both elegant and practical. My only disappointment was the lack of follow-up from our sales representative regarding additional furniture purchases. From our initial conversations and my client questionnaire she was able to identify my design style, needs and desired colored palette. She developed two amazing design portfolios for me to review and I was able to pick and choose elements from each to create my final design portfolio. This portfolio served as the blueprint for my interior and exterior design choices. She picked pieces that were cost-conscious based on my pre-established budget and that were available at a variety of local and online retailers. She encouraged me to add my own style by picking a few items out myself (with her stylistic approval) that created a truly one of a kind design. The final product is an amazingly modern, but functional townhome with incredible indoor and outdoor spaces.
