n her first visit, I let her know what were the priorities. I clearly stated that the dining room was to be done down the line ,after I sorted things I need to take care of. The kitchen needed to be done, but the living room was the primary target. When she came on the 2nd vist, hher tasks were more in keeping with rolling up my bill that actually accomplishing my goals. 1. Kitchen She stated she was going to remove expired spices. Fine. What she had no need to do is waste my money re-arranging everything in my cabinets. The arrangement did nothing to further the goal of cleaning and organizing the kitchen. Things that were securely packaged were taken out of their packaging which only served to make her happy since it did nothing to advance the goals I established. 2. Dining room All I will say is she did not leave it alone and did quite a few things that have made me very angry. 3. Living room I acknowledge that is was very disorganized. I did have things arranged according to need and accessibility. What she did was just take the things and randomly dump them in boxes. There was no order to them. Changing my disorder into her disorder is not acceptable. Organization was not attempted in any manner. 4. Things that were sorted were in a manner that was not in danger of being acceptable. They were in general groupings, in too small containers, without lids. Why would you store things in a container so you can't cover it? Everything was done with the idea that either I didn't live here. Too many things were done that didn't need to be done. I was busy working. It did not occur to me that I would need to sit and watch over them. The things that are inadequate and/or unnecessary are too many to write. If you hire them 1. Write down detailed instructions concerning what is to be done. 2. Insist on requiring approval before anything that is not on the list is attempted. 3. Agree ahead of time on what you will be charged for that day's work. read more
