this place is horrible !! I have done service with them a couple of times and finally this was it!! They are to expensive and complain about what they have to do and takes to much time and then over pricing! The owner? not sure if she is? Is very rude always and on the phone while you wait and wait no apology's just grumpy ..... I decided to take my things to another place right across the street. They gladly accepted my request and charged me a quarter of what charlies was asking and the hem was perfect!! I suggest check around yes they are close but so is the other place and they were friendly kind and saved me a lot of money!! i am only posting this because people need to know there are better options!! read more

I've been bringing my clothes to this cleaners for over 5 years never with a complaint except for the fact that they actually write your name on the inside of your clothes with permanent marker. This week on Monday I was driving to work and I noticed that I had a hole in my left sleeve. I didn't think much of this considering maybe it was an old shirt and time to get rid of it until the next morning when I was driving to work and noticed a hole in my left sleeve in the exact same position on a second shirt that I had cleaned in the same batch. I called the cleaners to discuss this with them and unfortunately they told me that this was due to wear and tear on my shirt which was not their fault. I wasn't very happy with this response so when I got home I inspected the other two shirts that were sent to the cleaners at the same time and notice rips on one of the other shirts in the exact same place as the other two. This meant that three of four shirts had been damaged at the same time in the same exact location of the sleeve. Today when I went in to speak with the owner she gave me the same story as her employee that this was wear and tear of the clothing which was not their fault, could not have been damaged by the machines and was completely an issue with old clothing. I explained to her that these were three different shirts purchased at different times, one of which the most expensive was only 1 year old and they should not have had the same exact problem at the exact same time. This didn't seem to matter to the owner and she offered me a $29 credit. Obviously I wasn't happy with this offer considering that was half the cost of the least expensive shirt that was damaged. She then offered me $50 and when I told her I wasn't accepting that she asked me what I would like to do. I told her I didn't want any money back if they could offer me a $100 credit on future services I would be happy with that which she refused. During this conversation I asked her how long she had been in business which she responded 16 years. When I asked her if she had ever seen three shirts damaged in the same batch at the same time she said she had never seen this and couldn't explain it. This didn't seem to make much sense to me nor her but she still continued to refuse to take any responsibility. The owner told me if I wasn't willing to take the credit the only thing she could do was send it into a lab to have the shirts examined but if it came back and it was not her fault then I would be responsible for the laboratory costs which I told her was unacceptable. I explained to the owner that I had been coming to this establishment for over 5 years every other week spending at least $20 to $40 and that I truly do my best to support local businesses but if we couldn't come to an agreement that I would need to take business elsewhere. In my most conservative estimate I told her I must have spent at least $2,500 over the last five 5 years. I asked the owner if she was really willing to lose a customer over a $50 discrepancy. At that time she told me it is what it is that she can't offer me any more than $50 and then turned her back to me and went to her previous work. read more

If you are looking for a full service cleaners , they are NOT it. I asked for a zipper repair once and for alterations a second time . The worker said they didn't have the skill to do the task . Part of me felt it was because I was black because of how rude she was , but maybe race had nothing to do with it . I do t want to accuse an establishment of being racist . However , They advertise they do alterations and wedding gowns , but if I were you , I wouldn't go if they couldn't complete a simple alterations. task . These people write your name on the inside of your dress shirts with a permanent marker!!! WTF Why? I go back to ask them why they do this practice and there response is "We only write on the inside where you can't!" How stupid is that! You take your clothes to get them cleaned not have them permanently labeled with a Sharpie! Complete MORONS!!! read more
