Nice selection of soft drinks, iced teas, etc. Ideal for the office, hotel and condo community foot traffic of East Bethesda. I'm giving 4 stars, with a potential upgrade to 5 for two reasons: 1. I got the Mediterranean sub, a footlong toasted Italian sub roll with hummus, cucumbers, tomatoes, banana peppers, lettuce. There are all kinds of different sandwiches available and fresh soups (but unfortunately I didn't have room). Big Al's adds subs and sandwiches to the Montgomery Mall food court, something that's been missing for years. And the subs are yummy! I'm definitely coming back to Big Al's when I'm at the mall. Everyone ought to give Big Al's a try!

Heaping with luscious tuna, crispy lettuce and a sharp slice of cheddar. Heavenly! They are good at what they do, nothing more, nothing less. And they do it all with a smile! I will be back, of course, to the Firehouse Deli because it's at the top of its game. But I will also be back because the woman at the counter treats me so well. Bravo to the Firehouse Deli!!!!

I was walking from here to there with my toddler while our car was being fixed, and this place was in the center, but though the sandwich was good and reasonably priced I'd probably head somewhere else next time for a sit down on a hot summer day with my kid. Bottom line, great for a sandwich but not for lunch, at least not if you're toting live baggage.

For the price, if I can't have what I thought was the best. I'm not gambling on a hit or miss. The reason I did take out is my BF had a stroke & can't take the noise. It's a nice place.
