G10 pull through site 30/50 amp includes picnic table and fire ring

After seeing the questionable reviews, we were nervous for our trip here. We shouldn't have been! Everything was nice & well kept. The staff were all friendly, the pool was clean and refreshing on a hot day, the pull through site was spacious. The park was quiet- we were in a spot far from the entrance (G10) and wouldn't have wanted to switch for any other spot. We used the fire ring and purchased wood bundles from the store. Also purchased bags of ice and cold sodas from the store. The area was patrolled at night by police which was a nice touch of security. A 25 minute drive into downtown Charleston wasn't bad at all either! Would definitely stay again. Only word of caution: avoid Sullivan's Island if you want to drink a beer on the beach. Charleston beaches are dry beaches-- no alcohol allowed. Learned the hard way!

Equipment falling apart. "Play ground" not taken care of at all.

If you only need a place to stop and rest for the night this KOA would suffice. Kid's play ground is not taken care of at all and falling apart literally. Sites weren't mowed. Dog owners not picking up after their animals. Was a big let down compared to other KOAs we've stayed at.

I have been trying to go on a walk every day. Most days, I just walk around his neighborhood. However, I was excited when I heard the parks reopened. I made a venture to Gahagan Park the first time almost on accident. I needed somewhere to go to get signal, as I don't get good phone service in Lincolnville. So I went to Gahagan Park for the phone signal, but after my virtual appointment, I decided to walk around this park. I found a track wrapping around a football field. I headed towards this because I assumed this would be the best place for walking. I passed a few baseball fields on my way. When I got to the track and started to walk around, I noticed that part of the track veers off. I followed this path to see where it lead. It went by some more baseball fields. It also lead to some public bathrooms and a picnic area. At the end of this walking trail, there is a graveyard. It is fenced in, and I couldn't get in. This is the point where I turn around, as the park ends and the walking path turns into a road. I like coming to Gahagan Park for my daily walks. I have a friend who plays ultimate frisbee here! This is a cool, fun, and relatively safe place to hang out. I definitely recommend checking it out!

They offer classes for glass fusion and guided paint classes (the walls had some super cute images!!) amongst other themed classes. Upon walking in, we were greeted and asked if this was our first time at the location - it was our first rodeo so she explained the setup. Essentially you pick an item (price on the bottom) and once that's established you pick some colors and paint on! I know with supply issues it may be hard to stock for inventory, but found the selection enough for me plus was stumped on what to decide on! I like how they have seasonal items like ornaments, dreidels, halloweenie goodies, Easter, St Patrick's Day, etc. plus the basics like plates, cups, and side dishes. There's a range of prices from $6-$250 (that one was a gnome riding an owl statue lol). A little paint goes a long way plus I liked how they re-used the plastic palettes so that's environmentally conscious. It was super calming to paint plus liked the spinning wheel to avoid touching the item as much while getting each nook and cranny. It'll take around 2-3 weeks to pick up the item I'm guessing due to kiln space so I'll post the after picture then! If I had kids I would definitely host a party for them here, lovely way for folks of all ages to flex their creativity. Wish there were more studios with pottery wheels to create from the ground up. Perfect for rainy days!
