DON'T HESITATE - JENNA IS THE BEST!!! I worked with Jenna…read morefor boudoir photos, and I cannot recommend her enough. I have an undergrad degree in photo and dabbled in it professionally and boudoir was always my favorite, so I knew it would be hard for me to find someone I would be comfortable with and could deliver the quality I was looking for. Jenna not only did that, but she also did so at an amazing value. My goal with this review is to not only tell you all the reasons Jenna is worth it, but also let you know what my experience was like so you can feel normal if you feel the same things! I am severely insecure and have always struggled substantially with my confidence. These photos were a way to thank my husband for helping me fight that monster and to celebrate my own growth in loving myself, but that did NOT mean it was easy. I was incredibly nervous, in fact I think this all meant I was even more anxious and second-guessing. I had my makeup professionally done - something I HIGHLY recommend and while I was happy with getting lashes (ladies, just do it, I promise) I was nervous that the rest wasn't "me" enough and that it wasn't going to look natural. And wow wow wow Jenna whisked all that nervousness right away. Here's how: -She asked me questions and got to know me to get a feel for the shoot -She very quickly assessed and understood how to make my face and body look good -She joked around with me and made me feel comfortable -She related to me -She directed me in a clear and concise way, and immediately figured out what flattered me -She was honest when it didn't flatter me! She'd say things like "No no, not like that, you look like the exorcist," and we'd laugh, and I'd know what she meant and how to change it. This also let me know she wasn't BS-ing me when she said things looked good -She let me call some shots but also led me or told me when something wouldn't work -She's creative and works with what she has AMAZINGLY. She's willing to try stuff -She's not awkward about the fact that you're basically naked in front of a stranger: She asks before touching or moving stuff and is kind of like a massage therapist in a "undress to your comfort level" kind of way Immediately after our session finished I felt serious buyers-remorse-anxiety and was terrified they wouldn't turn out well or my makeup wasn't quite right or I forgot an important pose or something! And it was all for nothing, because let me tell you, the photos are amazing. My husband loved the photo book I made (I used Shutterfly and was very impressed). He really liked that Jenna was able to communicate a creative, tasteful, and sophisticated feeling while still shooting true boudoir. Start to finish, working with Jenna was a dream come true. I wouldn't have been able to feel positively about this experience, no matter how good the photos were, if she hadn't been so awesome. We look forward to hiring her for all of our upcoming photography needs :)

My Daughter used Lovlee for her wedding. Well the company didn't follow through on most things, and…read moremy daughter paid plenty and didn't skimp. The photographers were not the ones she was told who would do the shoot. They seemed very much in a hurry to leave and not very professional. I personally had to adjust clothing on several of the wedding party when they were about to take a picture. Honestly many of my phone photos were better. Not sure if this was a just a fluke but I don't think so because when she asked for a partial refund they said no and wouldn't even talk about it. So I would not recommend a company that doesn't stand behind their work.

His work really speaks for itself but here's my review anyway: SHOOTS IN FILM: I honestly didnt know what this meant or why this was good but upon seeing the actual pictures I realized that the film ones' colors really popped and made the pictures that much more beautiful. Apparently most photographers who shoot in film charge a kazillion x the price so I count myself lucky for finding a film photographer in my budget. GIVES GREAT DIRECTION: My now-husband and I were worried we had no idea how to pose and didn't have a list of prepared poses going in but daniel was great at telling us exactly where to stand, where to put our hands, etc. and made us feel super comfortable throughout the session. PROFESSIONAL: He's super accommodating and flexible. He's also very honest-Being the crazy indecisive bridezilla, I of course waited until the last week before I asked him to add more hours to our agreed upon contract for the wedding day (and of course pay a little extra for the additional time). Day of, he tells me he re-read the contract and apparently the hours were already included and I didn't owe him anything! Not only was that a great wedding day surprise but he was super honest about the whole thing and could've easily just accepted the check. So.. on top of being talented and nice, he's just an awesome person all around. :) Sidenote: He lives in AZ but it was still totally worth flying him out for engagement shoot and wedding in the bay area. He's done a lot out here so it felt like he knew the area better than we did when it came to choosing a shoot site!

1-Star Review Extremely Unprofessional Experience…read more I initially thought Shane Baker Photography was going to be a great choice. He seemed talented and professional at first, but everything changed the moment I paid. He couldn't even shoot at his usual location and I went out of my way to accommodate by offering my own pool so the session could still happen. But the real problems started after the shoot. He completely failed to deliver on what was promised in our agreement no edited photos, no photo book, nothing. Every message, every email, every attempt to reach him has been ignored. This level of unprofessionalism is absolutely unacceptable. When a client pays for a service, they should receive exactly what was agreed upon, not excuses, silence, and unfinished work. I gave patience, flexibility, and respect throughout this process, and none of that was returned. I would not recommend Shane Baker Photography to anyone. Save yourself the stress, the disappointment, and the wasted money.

Pixyst was the first to respond, actually answered all the questions I had the first request and able to confirm my date and time immediately. I was actually shocked at the professionalism and the eagerness for my business. David arrived on time he was super professional clean cut and we all felt extremely comfortable with him in our home. He interacted with our 3 generations of family (10 people and 4 animals) members from several different countries who some non English speaking family (and dogs and cats) with ease. He quickly put me at ease and was very calming ( I was totally stressed out about coordinating everything, everyone, and with fighting with attire choices with 3 teenagers a few minutes before he showed up)! David had no problems with set up of indoor and then moving outdoor for sunset pictures and captured the moment beautifully! I was originally worried about the timing and set up for all the different pairings and not missing the sunset but David got all the pictures I wanted and more. We were thinking that we'd select 10 pictures but we purchased far more because they all came out so fantastic! By far the best photography experience our family has had and we do a family photo every year at the "chain portrait studios" in the strip mall and pay 3 times as much for the chain place then what David charges.

We searched Yelp and found him with all good reviews which made us decide to go to him for these very important pictures. The results are very disappointing! Jon seems to be a friendly person, except that in the beginning he tried to deny a Yelp deal that we purchased, as he claimed the deal is for family photos only, which was NOT said in the deal description when we purchased. Anyhow he accepted the deal we bought eventually. However, it turned out to be a terrible experience. First of all, his studio is in his house, or maybe more specifically, in his garage. Certainly it is not fun to take a one-hour-photo-shoot at such a place when the temperature is over 100 outside and there is limited air-conditioning in the garage. He had to use a fan trying to make it cooler. But most importantly, his technique is not very impressive at all. My green dress turned out to be blue in my photos! The skin tone of my face in the pictures turned out to be uneven, despite the fact I was put on make-up by professional beauty artist. Also, his so-called touch-ups of the pictures are awful, that he didn't even try to take the shines on my face away! --- As a matter of fact, I don't think those pictures we purchased have been touched up at all! I am not sure if he is good at taking family pictures as other claimed in the reviews, but if you go for professional head-shots, I won't recommend him at all. It will be a total waste of your money and time!
