I had a maternity photoshoot with Lorena when I was almost 34 weeks pregnant and it was nothing short of amazing. Lorena made it a priority that I not only felt comfortable but beautiful with all of her creative photo suggestions, outfits, and poses. Being so far along, I was nervous I might not be able to pose in certain positions for a good picture but Lorena was quick on her feet to make sure I was set up for not only a good picture but was not uncomfortable pain wise. She would also show me the pictures on her camera as we went along, which boosted my confidence so much because they already looked so beautiful without even being edited yet. She had a variety of different maternity gowns to choose from which all looked stunning when I put them on. Even if a gown was a little loose or big in a certain area like the chest, she was able to pin in and then edit it to perfection. I never had to question Lorena's expertise, as all throughout the session she knew exactly which poses, hair positions, facial positions, she wanted for her vision to come to life for not only beautiful pictures but artistic. The session took place in her studio which was inside her beautiful home. The set up was clean and professional and she was well set up and prepared with her lighting, fans, and cameras. This is our second time using Little Legacies to do photos. The first was for our maternity shoot and we were so happy with how everything turned out that we came back to also do our newborn photos. On both occasions, Lorena was prepared with a number of outfits and props to be used in the shoot that aligned with our color scheme and vision. We even brought our own prop that she was able to incorporate into our newborn photos. She was patient with us ensuring we were able to take breaks as needed for snacks and to change or feed the baby. Lorena was very kind and professional throughout the entire process. She made directions easy to follow as she guided us through each pose. The session included hair and makeup and the person doing it was very pleasant and did a wonderful job. At first, I thought that the makeup was a little over the top, but they know what they are doing and the end result turns out perfectly on camera. For our newborn shoot, as we arrived they started on my hair and makeup while Lorena took the baby with my husband to start on the baby only photos. She handled our son with care and was able to keep him soothed and comfortable as she changed him into different outfits and positions. Overall, it was a pleasure doing our photos with Little Legacies. Though it may seem a little pricey, everything that is included and the quality of the work is well worth it. My experience with Little Legacies was great! Four children without a maternity shoot and I decided to do one with my last baby so I chose Little Legacies and I am so happy I did. The pictures I saw on Yelp made me choose this location because the photos look so dreamy and effortless, the hair, makeup, and gown options included with the whole package was even better! It helps when you do not have to worry about so many details and can just relax. Lorena made me feel super comfortable and my children as well I have 4 small children and they had fun and enjoyed the experience. My experience with little legacies was Great! Lorena was very accommodating and responsive with my requests for appointments and explaining the different services offered. Lorena was very welcoming and we connected instantly, she made us feel comfortable and at ease. there was a wall full of props and she made sure to have 3 stations set up for the session. She was so gentle and patient handling our little Ellie. We discussed color options prior to my arrival and I even brought a flower crown that she was nice enough to include in the photos. We hired Lorena for newborn/ family photos. She was so sweet with both our newborn and 4 year old, you can tell she has a way with kids and babies! She was very welcoming and kind and so was her husband who came in and out to chat and help out. She was very organized and prepared but was willing to make changes when I asked for them. They even put a welcome sign on their front door with our name on it for our arrival. Being a new mom, I loved getting my hair and make up done while she took photos of the kids.
